Stay away from this company. We had occasion to call them for an emergency on Sunday. The initial charge was for 187.00 just to show up. They charged a grand total of 700.00. They has a credit card on hand so we had to pay. On the following day an intruder entered our building. We reached out to them to request they return to check their work performed on the previous day. The response was- there is a charge to come out again, in addition the gentleman was very rude and refused to return to the building to check the work. Truly they lived up to the Houdini name.

Called another company yesterday and they kept telling us they would be to our house but never showed. Hubby called Houdini and they showed up 15 mins after our call, quoted and us a lower price than the other company. Matt was very professional!! Thank you!

Friendly service and nice shop

Larry came out to my house after hours (~6PM) was extremely nice, and easily able to fox and diagnose the issue with my front door. He was able to offer suggestions on new locks to replace my current and was very good with my children who were locked out with me and my wife. I would highly recommend to anyone needing lock smith assistance.

Larry bent over backwards to make sure our new home was safe and secure. Whenever I call him night or day he responds rapidly and finds the best most cost effective solution. I’ve been using him for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Requested a single copy of my mailbox key. Cost about $3. Was told there was a $25 credit minimum, and that there was no nearby ATM. Purchased a can of pepper spray, handed to me by the cashier. Got home and realized pepper spray expired in 2012. Checked receipt, which said Refund Policy- All Sales Final. I recommend KeyMe.

I went into their Broad Street store and the Locksmith was very nice and knowledgeable on all things locks and keys. I had a Locksmith question about an Electronic Lock and he got a hold of one of their Security Engineers; who was great. I bought that lock and they built the bypass key to match my back door. Excellent!

Avoid this company at all costs. Be particularly wary of Larry. They rushed me into signing an incomplete work order/invoice during Thanksgiving week, busiest on one of the busiest of the year for my business. They preformed the task with no estimate, and then charged me 3-5 times than what I expected to pay.

When I called they told me that they had what I needed. After I arrived they said oh you have to buy a new handle we dont sell parts.

The Broad street location is a place to avoid. The guy I delt with was rude, and not very helpful. Customer service is not this locations thing. He charged me $40 to rekey a cylinder! unbelievable! A contractor friend of mine went here to have a cylinder rekeyed and he was quoted $60!These were both conventional front door cylinders.We opted to use another place where they charged $7.Avoid this place!

I needed a double of my keys and it was really quick it toked less then 3mins

I went to Houdini locksmith shop on Broad street. I needed to have my cylinders changed for my storm security door because they had been stolen.I was quoted a price of $40 each which seemed a bit high. The reason I did not give them my business is because they were somewhat rude. I took my locks th West Philadelphia Locksmith and dealt with a man named Chris. He quoted me a price of $15 each. That seemed more fair but then hw explained that they serve firdt come first served and I could see a stack of jobs ahead of mine. I explained about my keys being stolen and that I lived alone and was truly scared. He went to the back and spoke to a man I believe was the owner. He then told me to have a seat in the showroom, ten minutes later me locks were rekeyed and worked perfectly. That is where I will go in the future, because that man was so nice and pleasant and did such quality work in such a short time.
