VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Do NOT let them tow your car!!!! They are crooks. They lie and charge a laudry list of made up fees. The owner is VERY rude and is a liar. Said he didnt have the keys to our car and when AAA went to pick it us all of a sudden they found the keys. There was a pouch with cards, ID, money etc. in the car and was not there when we got to the car. They should be investigated. Also, beware of Maximus Towing because they are the same company!

Cjs tires is wonderful place to do business. They are courteous and patient. Twice I have been saved by them. They are completely transparent with all of their transactions and services. It is nice to see a young man own his own business and treat people with respect and dignity. Exceptional customer service and quality work are exactly what we need from businesses today. They dont know how to put on tires!! They cross the tred on my lug nuts and let me leave i had to go somewhere else to find out cost me alot of money they will take your money and not say anything.

I went to get four tires from CJ’s tires. It took them maybe 2 hours to put the tires on and after getting home I realized why. They must’ve only had 2 tires for my car and had to find me 2 additional tires in there pile of tires. The other 2 tires were completely dry rotted. Mind you they charged me $42 per tire and now I have to go purchase two more tires. I would’ve had more respect for them if they just been honest and said they only had two tires on hand and I’d have to wait for the others. But this company is just greedy for money and now I’m stuck having to put out more money. If you are a female DO NOT go here alone. They will take your money and sell you anything!!!

Unprofessional, rude and a very condescending “mechanic” The person who I normally deal with does not work there anymore but I still decided to give this black owned business a chance. Never again.

I have to give the place 2 stars. I usually come here to buy used tires. However, on this day the place was ready to close and the mood of the place was off. They installed a passenger side rear tire. I noticed that the air indicator light was on so I addressed the brother. He told me that it would go out as I drove, but it didn’t. So after getting the tire installed, I had to go to a gas station to fill up a tire that was supposed to be properly inflated.

This place is simply, the best. I called, didn’t even need to make an appointment, pulled up and they replaced my flat tire in a matter of minutes. I was treated like family, couldn’t have asked for better. CJ, his mom and the guys there are wonderful people. Priced me fairly even though I’m from out of town (US Census Bureau deployed in Philly)! If ever in Philadelphia and have auto maintenance needs, look no further and bring your rear to CJs!!!!!!!!!!!! A+++++++++++++

I went to get my tire patched and the service was great, the prices were fair and better and the emissions menu gave me alot of information as well as prices for tires and repairsThe people were awesome too and work on an excellent rhythm

Horrible experience and would not recommend, especially for females. Unorganized and they serve men first regardless if you been waiting before a male has arrived. However, still tried to give them the opportunity and purchased 4 tires from this shop and 1 of the tires had slits in the tire therefore it started going flat as soon as drove off. Came back the next day since shop was closed and advised of the issue and was told that they would replace the tire because it was something that should have been caught prior. They didnt have my size tire it at the and advised they will call me on Monday because he spoke with the owner who advised once he returns he would locate and replace the tire. Never heard from them so followed up and spoke with the same guy Sam and his story completely changed and advised me that he never told me he would replace the tire and he never spoke with the owner about the matter.

The Owner of this place is all about the money. Doesn’t guarantee his work No integrity Miscommunication /misinformation about his supposedly high tech diagnostic machine . Worst service ever. So many clients complaining as I sat there waiting for my vehicle to be repaired. Paid 265 and left with same problem Had to take my vehicle to dealer to get fixed. Learnt my lesson Karma baby

They had my car and gave me some very good advice about my car. I was advised to contact the dealer because the part that I am having a problem with may still be under warranty. If it is, it will save me a lot of money. Its nice to go to an auto repair shop and they tell you to contact the dealer rather than taking your money. I would recommend them as the shop to go to.

Just so happened to be driving by here and decided to stop because I needed tires! I was greeted right away! I was assisted by Chris, the tire man, who was very helpful. He gave me an EXTREMELY reasonable rate for what I need and was very thorough with explaining everything to me. I have been to quite a few tire places in Philly and I can honestly say this is the best service yet! I will definitely be back for ALL of my future mehanical needs!!

Pretty good and fast service. Nice spot for used tires only problem I had was they did not accept cards at the moment. Its best to make appointments first tho.

Gary did a great job of working with me to put a couple of used tires on to pass inspection. When we took the old tires off, we discovered that one rim had a crack in it. Gary was helpful with practical solutions to get me back on the road at minimal cost.

This place is TRASH. I stopped in for a simple oil change. When I pulled into the lot, I noticed no cars on either bay and no workers within the garage area or lot. I walked into the office and the man sitting at the desk was watching YouTube videos while two mechanics were watching ESPN in the waiting area. None of them paid me any attention for a solid 5 minutes. When the receptionist finally decided to pay me some mind, I told him I was there for an oil change. He said I need to make an appointment. As I didnt see any other customers on the premise and neither of the mechanics were working, I asked if I could wait. He responded by telling me that they were booked up for the day and I would have to come back in next week if I wanted an appointment. I find that hard to believe considering an oil change takes ~20 minutes. Very ignorant and lazy people at this shop. There are too many other good mom and pop facilities - dont waste your time here.Reply to Owner: Maybe he was filling in for somebody but I know for a fact it was a man as his name tag said Horace. I definitely have the correct location. More importantly, after combing through some of your reviews, it seems that you are habitually combative rather than trying to accommodate your patrons and rectify any constructive criticism. Moreover, what is more mind blowing is that if in fact you are the owner, I find it hard to believe you passed a 3rd grade English course. none of my employees ever is my waiting area This is very alarming on multiple accounts. You sound like a moron and should invest in Hooked on Phonics.

Quick fix for a flat!👍 Nice people. I was in the city omw home and got a flat on my way back to Willow Grove area. Found this place and they had me on my way within 15 minutes! Definitely would recommend!

Dont take your car there..had my sister car for a month and kept trying to get her to keeping putting a deposit down when she explained that she will pay them in full once finished. When she got the car back it had a dog smell in it, her change tray was missing, override key was missing and other lights on the dash board was on from where they didnt clear it once the work was done. She has to take it to the dealer for them to complete the work

They have a large variety of tires to fit any car or truck riding in the road today. The service is fast, & convenient. I have recommended several people to go there for tire services.

Dont waste your time...or money. The mechanic who was going to inspect my mothers vehicle told me that her vehicle wouldnt pass inspection because of alleged broken motor mounts and loose links & bushings. This was determined without a road test or even putting it on a lift.Not only were the motor mounts NOT broken, but you cannot fail a vehicle for LOOSE links & bushings!!! He then proceeded to tell me that hed let the links slide if I let them repair the motor mounts. When I declined, he got an attitude, so I asked him to show me where the mount was broken and to show me in the regulations that a vehicle must be failed for loose links & bushings. He could do neither. To top it all off, the lady that works the counter had the same guy look at HER vehicle and surprise...turned out she too needed 4 motor mounts, also without a test drive or putting it on a lift. I wonder how many people have paid for unnecessary repairs at this place. If you have disposable income and you dont really care about your vehicle or honesty, this might be the place for you!!!P.S.The vehicle DID pass...with flying colors AND no additional costs...after taking it to a reputable facility.

Absolutely loved this place and its employees! Prices are reasonable and they are quick. They educate you regarding all the issues with the car and answer all your questions. Ive been to many auto shops and always had problems with how long they took or they didnt know what they were doing. But honestly not here. THEY ARE GREAT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. This is my new shop for all my mechanical needs .

Competent and knowledgeable mechanics. Although it will be somewhat of a wait (even with an appointment), in many cases it is worth the wait. They know what they are doing on foreign and luxury cars but will save you some cash in the long run.

I’ve never had a business owner laugh during a conversation when being made aware of improper repairs to a car. He laughed in my ear several times, over talked and hung up on.This place is a rip off and the owner Jamal has horrifying customer service. I had my tire repaired inaccurately and returned to the shop but no one was willing to accommodate me in making the proper repairs. I waited over an hour for the mechanic to tell me the shop was closing and that he has things to do so he can’t fix my car right now. I contacted the owner who followed up by stating “ I don’t care because i’m out with my family” and laughed. Again, this is after I paid for the service and returned because they didn’t complete the job accurately the first time. It was very insulting to speak with a business owner who had such poor communication and unapologetic about the work being performed. I ended up paying extra money to have my car towed to another business as I refuse to pay my hard earned money to an individual that rude. He is very closed minded and needs customer service training.In reference to the owners reply: Just an FYI that was taught in the 2nd grade. When “I” is being used in a sentence it’s a pronoun and should be capitalized. It tickles me to know not only are you a scam artist but an idiot also which supports your disposition. There is medication available to help with your impulsive/aggressive behavior.

These guys are amazing, I didnt have an appt I called first thing in the morning because my brakes werent functioning properly. I took my car in and before they worked on it they explained to me in detail as to what was going on and the $$... In deep frustration and lack of the funds it would take for all of the work to get done, they worked with me and figured out a solution to help make my car safe and drivable.. You cant possibly imagine how thankful I am! you cant get service like this from everywhere!!

So I had a flat tire and needed a tow....I called every number within 15 miles and had the worst luck.....CJs Tire and auto at 6801 old York rd was amazing Samara answered the phone with such professionalism and made my day so much better with her prompt customer service and her caring concerning demeanor she is nothing of fantastic.....she sent Malik and he also showed me so much care and concern they have my business and loyalty forever....

I paid for two tires (used) and one of the same tires that I replaced was flat a month later. I tried to call to see if there was anything they could do and I was told no. They only have a three day warranty so please be careful and have the tires checked by someone. Used means exactly that and I will never buy anything used again. I had no choice because of expenses but I also can’t take a chance and spend anymore money at this shop again because I cannot afford this .

I can honestly so that the sign out front that says Blessed thats how I felt coming in for service. Ive known Sammy for over 5 years and he takes care of all of my cars, High end cars and all. Who needs a dealership service when you have CJs? God bless and thanks again.

Stopped in for an used tire and was serviced very quickly. Thia place gets you in and out and if you are trying to stretch a dollar I highly recommend coming here in comparison to some of the other used tire places in the citym good value and quick service

I needed one of my tires checked because when AAA came out the guy stated that he saw a slit in my tire. I took my car to this place and the guy told me that I had two cars in front of me so I waited about 20-30 minutes. When he was finishing up with the second car I heard him say that he was trying to hurry up and leave because it was close to closing time. When he looked at my tire he stated that I had two nails in the tire. I told him what the AAA guy stated and he wouldn’t even check the tire thoroughly to see if he saw a slit. He was just sticking to the two nails in the tire because he was in a rush to get off. I told him that I would take the tire somewhere else and he hurried up and put the tire back in the trunk. I would think that he would want to make sure that the tire didn’t have a slit in it instead of just trying to hurry and patch the two holes that I told him that the AAA guy saw so I would be safe on the road driving. 👎🏽

This is the worse place ever. Called for a tow they refused to take it where I told them, then wanted to charge me $1700 plus for the TOW AND ONE DAY OF STORAGE! To top that off the owner was as rude and ignorant as they come. I truly question all these 5 star reviews.

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Had my car towed here to get looked at never stepped foot in the shop before and they looked at it and told me my engine was done but the cost to replace was more than the car was worth. I said I wasnt gonna go through with it theyre trying to charge me 75 for diagnosing it but never said anything about a fee upfront... never ever been charged a fee by any mechanic shop just to diagnose my car. Now theyre trying to charge me a $40/ day storage fee to basically force me into paying the fee. Now I have to take them to court. Theyre money hungry dont give them your business.

This is the worst tire establishment I have ever been to. They lie, cheat you out of money, and sell you broken tires. They argue with their customers in front of other customers. All of their good reviews are fake. If you look at the good reviews cj tire is the only place reviewed! Never go here!

Gave me a eta for an hour and a half, didn’t show up for 3 hours... then he puts my car on the tow truck and smacks the back of my car on the lights of his truck...and dents my entire trunk.... if you are a tow truck driver you should know how to put a car on the flat bed... then they say they will help me and fix my car that it was there fault but now they are saying that it does not line up when if u put the tow truck in a loading position it is a exact match... hope this headache does not happen to anyone else. They are horrible

Fix my flat and rim and they scratched and cracked my whole skirt panel, I went back to confront the owner about it he was very unprofessional fast talking me kept saying they didnt do it didnt ask how can he help all he said was call my insurance i told him i see him in court, oh hes gonna pay for it I guess because Im a woman he think he gone get over and say what he want an I go for it, I will be filing tomorrow believe that, take your car there at your own risk next time I deal with a Bob cause these black buusnes owners to cocky an very arrogant and yes Im black so its not a race thing, white folks will get the job done right period..

Great experience I had with the staff here at Cjs tire and auto. All of the staff members were professional and friendly. One think I appreciated the most was how honest the staff was with me when it came to diagnosing the problem with my car. I will definetly be returning and referring as well.
