Pops Tattoos is a great place! These are the second & third tattoos done by Rat & I have an appointment to go back next week for at least one more, possibly two. Both Rat & Z are very talented, personable guys that make you feel comfortable.

Great tattoos great prices

It makes me laugh seeing people actually say that Z is good because I actually think he’s the worst one. He messed up my tattoo and then I went back to him to fix it and he made it even worse so I had to go out of my way to get a simple tattoo done for a third time by somebody else. It was absolutely ridiculous and the pricing.

Worse place to do a tattoo, they need to, practice in a paper first, and then do it in the skin, tattoos are for ever, they mess mine, thanks I find some one professional! And fixed it

I went on Saturday 8/15/2020 to get my first tattoo. This is the only parlor close enough to where I live so it’s a win for me, I go in and less than 5 minutes I was given the information I needed on pricing and time, I’m a bit of an artist myself so I had pre drawn my potential tattoo thinking my artist will just use it as a reference and do his own thing, surprisingly he took my drawing and printed it out so I was getting my own drawing as a tattoo! Being as it was my first tattoo my artist was very nice to me and made me feel beyond comfortable and warned me about the do’s and dont’s about tattoos. He even told me I would make a great artist being that I drew up my own tattoo. He gave me a paper when I was all done giving me the rundown of basic tattoo care and what to expect during the healing process. Thankfully he also worked with my set budget at $112 which was all I had but only asked for $100 for the tattoo because he wanted me to use my last $10 to get the ointment I needed to help it heal and stay moisturized and he said he wishes to see me again when I’m ready for my other arm! Overall it was more than a great experience it was a memorable experience that I will never forget and I would give this parlor 10 stars if google would let me.

Bad experience, went to get a quote to get a name cover up which Matt quoted for 60 dollars, then I decided to add my sons name in so he quoted me 40 dollars for a total of 100, he asked me to leave a 20 dollar deposit which I did with no problem, I was still working and had to go back after I got out. After work I went with my wife, who also was going to have him do two pieces on her. Upon arrival he had already had the stencil made up. He placed the stencil on me which I was excited about and was ready to go, he then precedes to tell me that it was going to cost 140 instead, after he had already agreed to 100. With that being said it made me really uneasy, so I decided to get out of his chair and told him to forget it, because that wasn’t the agreement. He tried to tell me he quoted me 60 just for the one piece and nothing for my sons name, but if that was true why was the stencil already done up w my sons name if we hadn’t spoken about the price prior. I told him forget it that I don’t like to do business with someone who is inconsistent. So, not only did he miss out on an opportunity to make money from my tattoo he missed out on 3 other pieces 2 of my wife’s and one other one I wanted to work on, all due to greed. I will not be returning to this facility!!

I have been a customer since 2007. I have had 4 tattoos from them one was a coverup you cant even see the original tattoo. Z and Jerry are great and I still get nothing but compliments and all my tattoos. Even took my daughter there for her first tattoo and she loves hers. Great Shop!!!!!!

Ask for Z when you go there to get tatted - he did most of my work and is excellent!!!

There appears to be a lot of customers that frequent this place and they also advertise through window advertising that they use sterile supplies with all clients and the facility appears very clean the multiple times I have walked by. I truly think this is one of the most sterile locations in this section of the city. Ive never heard any yet through the grapevine.

Mitch aka Rat was very professional I thought it was going to hurt due to not having one done in years it didnt hurt at all little uneasiness but he was a very gentle and I will be back again to get another tattoo I highly recommend this place for first-timers and for someone who hasnt had one done in a long time.

Foulkrod is an amazing tattoo artist. He did a fantastic military themed piece for me and I couldnt be happier.
