An awesome bottle shop with really friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have a truly legendary selection of beers, including some pretty hard-to-find ones. They also have board games, tables, glassware, and snacks. My wife and I have taken to coming over after work and having a few beers there and taking home a mixed six. I feel like we always run into someone we know, its a real community spot. Shout out to Forrest, thanks for the recommendations!

Excellent selection of domestic craft and delicious imports. Be prepared to spend some time in here because youre going to get lost in the selection. Prices are decent, on par with other distributors. Happy hunting!

If you are looking for beer this is the place. I searched for 2 years for a beer I had in Prague with no luck; until I stumbled upon this place. So go here and wander the world of beer.

Wide variety of beers and the staff is very nice. However, the prices are over the top compared to other local places. I have also come across them repeatedly closing before the stated closing time on their front door and Google.

The location is great, especially if you are already on the top of the hill, you dont have to travel up and down the hill to come here! The Foodery is a place that I stumbled upon in Manayunk. While they do offer food for purchase, I came here for their beer selection. If you like craft beer or a beer lover in general, then The Foodery is the place for you. Victory is one of my favorites and you can get it here along with craft beers outside if the Pennsylvania too.I wish they sold Tired Hands. Otherwise, I love this place and stop here every time Im in the area.

Disappointing to drive over at 10:30 pm and find the place closed 30 minutes before their hours online. Pretty expensive for the most part. Good last minute spot .

The place was very clean and staff was pleasant! There was a wide variety of wine & spirits. My chicken sandwich was very good, but I felt that the menu couldve been more specific about what kind of chicken I would receive. I expected a fried or grilled chicken breast on the sandwich but it was simply thick sliced deli meat. It was still good, but had the description been clearer I maybe would have ordered something else. That was really my only criticism, because its a really nice place! Great for a group of friends because theres a good amount of chairs and tables to sit down and enjoy your meal.

Visited Philadelphia for the first time and stopped here. I didnt realize is was so difficult to find alcohol in Pennsylvania.. but this is the place to go. They have an enormous selection and the employees are really friendly. Nice to meet someone else from Michigan working there.

This is a great place if you want to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch then when your done work you can meet people their for happy hour. They have a great selection of beer. Domestic beer Imported, IPA beers also that have a selection of snacks . they also have micro brews there also.

Amazing selection of beers from across the globe. Sectioned and partitioned out in a nice, easy to navigate layout. Also has a clean, nice seating area to stop and have a brew or two. The Foodery also has some decent small eats and snacks. This is a consistent stop for me monthly.

Outstanding selection of national, regional, seasonal, and world beers. I was really impressed and we will most likely only visit this place when we want to put together a six-pack to enjoy. The prices are reasonable and where they should be. Good beer should cost more. easier to find or common ones shouldnt. Great place!

Wide range of beer. Draft selection is hit or miss. Food is decent. Staff is indifferent. Clean. Not quite a place to hang out, not sure why but the vibe is more hurry up and buy than hey have another. Beer selection isnt anything you havent had before if you are a beer geek. Close to a good spot but never hits that mark.

Love this spot for beer and snacks. Today I stopped in there for lunch for the first time. I ordered the Malibu sandwich. It was very fresh and made with high quality ingredients! I only wish they sold more food and deli items. I really like this place- it partially fills the gaping need for a nice grocery store in the Manayunk/Roxborough area.

Beer prices are high, the lowest craft beer starts around $2.75/bottle. Sandwiches are a little pricey as well. Pleasant seating area to sit and enjoy a beer and sandwich.

Went to the Foodery for my second time the other day! After eating my sandwich, I concluded it was one of my top 5 sandwiches, ever and by far the best panini I’ve ever had. They have tons of beer options and plenty of other bottled beverages without alcohol. Employees and customers all seemed very nice and the music selection was great! I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in the area!

Build your own six-pack to take home, or grab a beer and a sandwich to enjoy in their warmly paneled seating area. I love the selection of unusual snacks and relaxed atmosphere. The only drawback is that their beer prices are a little higher than elsewhere in the city. The premium is worth it for people who appreciate the independent feel of this location.

It can be overwhelming with how many beers are in there, but the staff new their stuff and made great suggestions that I actually liked! Not much if a craft beer person but wanted to try some new things. Ill be honest its pretty expensive but if you want to have some different interesting beers and get a fun mix and match 6 pack its a great place. Nice alternative to going out.

To be honest... Ive never eaten here, but I have swung by a number of times for great beers whether to enjoy onsite or on-the-go. Its a great spot to sit, play games, shot the breeze, drink and I assume eat. They have what seems to be a great deli. Everything sounds delicious. Service is always great and they totally pick up on the Im just chilling. Dont bother me vibe. Its counter service at its finest. Want to sample beers? They have rotations on draft to try and buy. Great spot.

OK - so this is Pennsylvania-wide, but I have to mention the pretty ridiculous prices on beer.There is a nice selection here, the sandwiches are nice, and there is usually seating for a small group. To be honest, every time I come down this way, I will go to the Foodery, mainly because I am probably an alcoholic, but I wince every time I have to put down my card to pay.Is there an alternative? Probably not. Until PA gets out of its puritanical funk, places like the Foodery will dominate the market and keep the prices this way...but the beer selection is nice!

My favorite Roxborough location for beer. Period. They have a great variety of bottles which almost guarantee that you will find the perfect brew to quench your post-work thirst. They also have a smaller selection of beer on tap that they rotate fairly often. The best part about the draught beer is the option to try before you buy. Feel free to sample the selection of beer on tap before committing to a pint or even a growler to take home. Full disclosure: the past few times Ive gone to have a growler filled have resulted in a blend of two beers. The few times this has happened, the staff are more than happy to refund or refill but Id still caution against filling a growler until they have it fixed.This is a family and pet friendly bottle store with a fresh serving deli and a fantastic beer selection. What more can anyone ask for?

We had two sandwiches my sandwich I cannot brag about it was not good my friend had a corned beef special which was good but the person who was making the sandwiches could not elaborate whatsoever about any of the sandwiches and could not give any advice as to what to order so with that being said I really wouldnt go there and you know depend on the person making the sandwiches to make any suggestions on any of the sandwich chess so with that being said but the beer selection is great but behind the counter to get a suggestion on any of the beers on tap the girl had no suggestions whatsoever so I dont know if it was the time of day which was 4 in the afternoon I have no idea why that person was behind the counter you know to make a suggestion with the beer it wouldnt be my first stop with that being said I give it three stars only for the beer selection

Very wide selection of beers and deli sandwiches made with Boars head. Friendly dogs allowed too is always a plus in my book. There are non-alcoholic beverages available too. Seating can sometimes be an issue, but its not a common problem

Considering SoCals lacking Italian Hoagie situation, I make up for it when I visit the NE. The Foodery executed flawlessly with a freshly prepared, properly stuffed hoagie that was good enough for me to have one two days in a row.In short, I recommend a trip to The Foodery for your beer and snack needs.

Only bottle shop in the Lower Roxborough/Manayunk area. Lots of snacks, flavored sodas. The deli is good but usually its just one guy working that counter, so sit back with your beer and enjoy the wait.Dogs are welcome too and they keep a treat bin at the register.
