My go to place, great selection and service every time.... priceless. For those who have a concern about price Phillys a tough town to sell anything in. Small businesses are part of the fabric of Old City but get killed by taxes. They have better than fair prices for the selection and location.

Insane price gouging, dont waste your time or money

Solid Craft Selection. Prices not marked. More common stuff is easily 50% more expensive that things should be. 24pk Stella was $46 when it should be about $30. Go to Society Hill Beverage instead.

Good neighborhood spot with a way larger selection than your corner store / Bodega. Prices on the higher side but its old city and less than youd pay for carryout from one of the bars or small shops.

Awesome beer store!... If you need to find a hard to get beer go to Ben Franklin Beer Distributors in Olde City. Best beer selection anywhere in the city hands down. Good prices and really nice people who work there. Two thumbs up all the way! Pat D.

How many other places in a 10 block radius have this much beer?? Yeah, exactly. If you live here, work here, or are just visiting they cannot be beat for selection, friendliness, and even (for the area) price. Ive been coming here for almost 5 years and its only gotten better since theyre now allowed to sell bottles and six packs.PLUS THESE GUYS ARE STRAIGHT UP NO JOKE OPEN 365 DAYS A YEAR. HOLIDAYS? SNOWPOCALYPSE? THEY DO NOT CLOSE.Oh and they have dog treats. Even dogs love this place.Best beer distro in old city / center city.

This place is great coolest beer distributor youll ever walk into nice to see someone who doesnt just stack beer on concrete and call it a day. you can tell the owner put a lot of time and effort into the place and i appreciate it because it really makes my shopping experience a whole lot better i feel like i can take my time and shop around which i almost never do when going to a beer distributor.

Really great selection in a bunch of different size packs too. Also a big cigar collection which is pretty neat. Good service and its my new go to spot.

Check the dates on what you buy! Not a great place to go if you are looking for craft beer. The selection appears to be great, but I would say 90% of the craft selection is expired by several months or in some cases over a year. It took me 15 minutes of walking laps around the store checking canned/expiration dates on 12 packs before I luckily pulled out some Troegs Perpetual that hadnt surpassed its freshest before date.Overpriced but not necessarily for the location.

Very disappointed with this beer distributor. This is suppose to be a neighborhood spot and they are charging $26 for a 12 pack of spiked seltzers! Meanwhile, you can get TWO 12-packs delivered straight to you apt via go puff for only $31!!!! Only go here if you enjoy being ripped off!

Ben Franklin Beer Distribution has an excellent selection of both beer and cigars, as well as incredibly friendly staff! They carry a great mix of imported beers, including an Israeli beer called Goldstar, which my friends and I could not find anywhere! (Israel-lovers of Philly, take note!!)The owner also discussed the different types of cigars he carries and offered me a Tatiana Dolce Cappuccino cigar to try. The cigar itself was great for a novice like myself: a quick smoke with lots of flavor that wasnt too strong.TL;DR: Great place, great people, great selection!PS: The owner will also help you find parking!

Its my neighborhood beer spot. Cheap? Not really, I mean, its Old City, but cheap enough. Big selection? I suppose for a city joint. Tbh I usually head straight for the pre-chilled case, so I wouldnt know. The main thing is that the dude running the place is chill and polite and I respect that in a Philly joint especially.

Price gouging at its finest. Beer selection is okay. Prices are about double or almost triple what they should be.

Quite the gem in Old City. Has the same breweries any suburban distributor would carry. Great selection and they have delivery.

Over-priced but i shake it off because i live in old city and obviously, i need beer lol but when i shell out $30+ for a case of freakin bud light i expect that cans to not be dented and beat up and then explode when i open them.. really...???

Great selection of craft beer with friendly customer service

The store is overpriced and sells expired beer. The cost for a 12 pack of Sweetwater variety pack was $29. Each of the beers in the pack were expired by at least one month.
