(Watch Out) Ladies be mindful when purchasing hair from here. I’ve gone here in the past and felt like the prices were good and the hair selection was decent. Today I went in there for some braiding hair and it’s like they cut the popular hair color packs in half. I compared them and even asked another woman who was in the aisle looking at the same thing.Please be mindful on the quality of services in which you spend your money.

Sewing threads very very thin. Its wraped when you buy it so as to not see how thin it is. Good hair selection tho. Especially colors

They always have what I need. I saw a review about the “thieves”, yes the photos is up there but shoot, if you shoplift be prepared to have your photo taken!! Lol doesn’t bother me!! But anywho, their customer service for a beauty supply store is commendable. No one is following you around suspiciously, but instead to be helpful!! They dont have a lot of help, but they do have a lot of products. I like the store because of its clean look and wide variety of products all across the board.

Both the security guard and one of the employees were super nice and helpful.One of the employees even took the time to stop stocking shelves to assist me finding a diffuser for my blow-dryer (I brought my blow-dryer in the store.) He even took time to watch a 60sec video with me to see the exact diffuser I needed lol. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I appreciate that!The security guard saw I had alot going on with the products in my hand--haa-- and brought me over a cart.A greeting, smile, and helpfulness goes along way.Customer Service at its best. Great products but customer service is not a priority. I cant remember a time Ive felt welcome there...no smiles just attitude. We brown and black people must not be as woke as we say we are to continue spending money with people who dont trust us and probably dont like us. Smdh

The place was bright and clean. My temperature was checked at the door. There was signage on the floor showing 6ft spacing, plenty of hair care products, and all types of hair and wigs, plus wig care products . They also had a very nice jewelry selection. I even spotted a small selection of church hats. The staff were friendly and proactive. There were also barriers between the customer and the clerk where I paid.

Very unwelcoming environment. Pictures of theives and signs prohibiting shoplifting are EVERYWHERE. It was way past what youll normally see in a store. Dont shop in places where you dont feel welcomed by management.

Great inventory. I can usually find what I need. The young girl in the wig section was very kind and patient to my elderly aunt.

I travel from one county to the next to get here. Its worth the drive. They have ever hair product imaginable with great price point.

While Hair Buzz has a wide collection, they did not have the type of hair I was looking for. I believe that if you are going to have a large inventory, you should make it so that customers will not go to another store. When customers ask if you have a certain product, listen to them and make a note of that item. That is my opinion.

This place is freaking huge. Honestly if you cant find what youre looking for here its probably not available. they have a little machine at the front door that is taking temps. plenty of signs posted about capacity and wearing a mask. Theres a security guard at the front door. (Which I think is outrageous) he wasnt too pleasant I tried to make a joke with him and he was kind of dismissive and rude.I was completely overwhelmed when walking into the store. They have all the crochet hair, all the braiding hair, all the bundles, plus the whole entire back section of the store is wigs. I was a little bit displeased on their section of gels, conditioners and hair products considering Im natural. but they had enough for me to choose a few things that I needed. another thing I didnt like this whole entire store maybe had one employee there was nobody in the wig section to help anyone. they had signs posted about only five people being in a allowed section but I saw no one in forcing it.

Awesome place with great employees. They do a top-notch job and always give a perfect cut. When entering the establishment all the employees are quick to give you a warm smile and say hi. They are very knowledgeable and helpful when selecting a type of haircut. As the times change they help me to change with the times. I highly recommend this location. Large selection at both stores. Compared to the other hair buzz in North Philly 52nd St MUCH better staff. At Fox Street the staff act like you bothering them. At 52nd Street they greet you and actually make you feel welcome and that they like helping you. The staff in the front and especially the young ladies working where the wigs are.Oh and the security guard very nice also. Very professional. You can tell he aint playing though. I go to 52nd st even though fox Street is closer because of the service.

This store has a wide variety of items from hair supplies to leggings and shoes. Its very clean, they have hand sanitizing stations throughout. They even have an overhead announcement ringing customers to wear a mask in-store.

12/10/2020 - At 1st I thought the place was closed cause the windows are still boarded up. The store is clean & well-lit. I had 1 of the workers find what I was looking for as youre not going to find stuff easily if youre not familiar with the layout.

I love this hair store...however, I have had one issue at this location. The guy at the counter did not give me my proper change and he consistently told me he did.....when I know he did not. He then went to look at the camera after going back and forth about the $10.00 difference.......he realize after looking at the cameras he honestly did not give me correct change....other than that....they would have 5 stars....

They do have nice selections of hair products and wigs, i will not lie. But i must say my experience is different each time i go here.It would be nice and pleasant if the management was more welcoming and didnt make you feel uneasy, and unwanted by whispering to their staff members that they have to put the wigs back my intentions were to come and purchase more than one wig, but after a whiff of the snarky whispers i decided i would not. I travel all the way from another neighborhood to come here and to be met with disdain is just atrocious . the purpose of business is getting customers and have them come back. I work hard for my money, but i would rather spend my money where i feel welcomed, not shoved and rushed out the door. Now on a good note the guy who rung me up, had outstanding customer service, he was down to earth and made me laugh, for him is the only reason why i gifted this review with 3 stars.

Big Store, yet they never have what your looking for😞🤯

Beautiful store and selection, very ugly atmosphere. Im sure ShopRite, Target, and every other store in this area has been stolen from, but they dont treat every customer like a potential thief. We really shouldnt tolerate businesses who treat us like criminals in *our own* neighborhood. Hair Buzz should take notes from Hair Gallery on Monument Road....theyre always very polite, helpful and respectful to their customers.

Super disappointed with this establishment. I live 4hrs away from Philly and called to ask politely about a product in the store to find out if they had the product and how much it would cost. After getting nowhere with the representative, I asked to speak to the manager. After explaining my travel situation and that I would be coming from a far distance, I was told that they cannot tell me if they had the product in the store, or how much it cost bc/ of their “policy”. The manager then hung up on me. I couldn’t believe it! I called back to talk to the store manager and told them what happened, and as a result, because of poor customer service, untrained management, and this stores ridiculous “policies”, they lost a really great customer. I will NOT be shopping here again if a manager is capable and commended for hanging up on a customer.

HairBuzz is one of the largest Beauty Supplier in West Philly. They just relocated from there old building across the street the new building is amazing surprisingly big they have their own wig section one whole aisle dedicated to braiding a wider selection of crochet hair and human weaving and synthetic hair not to mention they carry a whole lot more hair product and chemical I havent been able to explore the whole store but cant wait to stop by again those of you who havent you gotta check it out

This is my wig spot. They have a great wig selection as well as hair products. There is always a wig sale so I love this place. The prices of the products are average and sometimes a little higher. Compared to whats close by, they are the best option.

I would not recommend this store to anyone. The owners customer service was horrible. He made me feel like a thief, before I barely entered the store. Upon entering the sensor went off and the owner wanted to take my personal tote bag. The young ladies working there were trying to be helpful. I will never set foot in that store ever.

They are the only hair store in the area with a variety of 30 plus extension hair.Staff is always helpful

I Just Go There For All My Hair Needs.

Where do I begin ...I came back to return a product I purchased. It seemed the product was already used and opened. The manager was very rude to me saying “No NO....NO” You can’t do the return. EVEN after showing him my receipt. The sales associates(women walking around) are NOT professional they’re rude. Making ignorant comments in my face. They chimed in saying “My Business won’t make them any difference”. It’s NOT professional in there at all. Management was not at all helpful.
