I been taking my cars to these guys for years, and they always do top notch work. Theyre busy, because theyre excellent, but they do a great job of getting your car done quickly, and theyve always been easy to communicate with about how long things will take and how much theyll cost. Ive had mechanics at different shops who will BS you about those things, and treat you like a low priority, but Northeast Trans always makes me feel like its a priority to get my car done correctly, and promptly. Theyre a 10 out of 10.

Im a customer here been here several times with different vehicles with most of that work geared to transmission and transfer case fluid changes per pm maintenance and an transmission operational check of my 4wd vehicles, mine, wife and son. Northeast Trans and Auto repair is a multi functional shop which they can do auto and truck general maintenance, inspections but also can service and repair your vehicles transmission and engine big repair items. My primary auto repair shop also sends customers to NE TRANS for engine and transmission work, a leaking rear main seal which I just had repaired on my 2007 jeep liberty along with changing out a rusted oil pan, a big job. Ron, Jack and the shop mechanics both auto repair and transmission know their business, do the work right the first time at a fair price, I highly recommend NORTHEAST TRANSMISSION AND AUTO REPAIR.

These days it’s hard to find honest people. I had a transmission problem took it to the dealership they said you need a transmission it’s gonna cost $5400 I said thank you let me take my car back home it was sitting home for about two months. And in the end my car was fixed for $429 thank you North east Philadelphia transmission & auto.

After a disappointing experience (to say the least) at a Jeep dealership/service center in Langehorne, I had the good fortune to be referred to Northeast Transmission, to complete the replacement on my transfer case. Their customer service was first rate and I actually spoke to the mechanic. Their performance was very prompt in completing the work. I highly recommend them, unfortunately five stars is not enough. This place is great!!! Ive dropped my car off 3 times over the past few years with bigger repairs than my mechanic can handle. My car has been repaired correctly and I never seem to have any problems afterwards. Brought my 07 Mercury Mountaineer in for an oil change, transmission and inspection. I was called and told the work would be $3100 minus $100 for being a AAA member and an additional 5% off for paying cash. Since we are in a no contact situation I gave my debit card over the phone to get the work going. 2 days later I was told the work was complete and that he would be placing the balance on the same card. When I looked at my statement I had been charged a total of $3,295! Not only was neither discount applied, I paid hundreds of dollars more than what was stated on the phone! To top it off, when I picked up my car it was driving HORRIBLY. Doing things it never did before i dropped it off. I left a message and was called back by Jeff. He told me the oil was never changed only topped off ( at this point my oil had not been changed in 5 months). He said I would have to bring it back in and because I was overcharged the first time I would not be charged for the oil change and he would check to see why the car was running so poorly. So when I brought the car back in I was told that not only would it require an additional $550 worth of work but that if the work was not done, it would void the warranty of the $3300 worth of work previously done!!! This seems more then a little suspicious. Also, the oil could not be changed because something about the ignition coil and something leaking into something....so this was NOT SEEN WHEN THE CAR WAS INSPECTED??? WHEN YOU ADDED OIL??? I just cant wrap my head around it. I requested an estimate in writing for this new work since it was obvious their word over the phone could not be trusted. I did receive the estimate and they had the audacity to charge me for the oil change! Trying to give them yet another chance, I wrote and asked if I got the work done at the shop would they honor the oil change at no additional cost and when I could bring it back (against my better judgement because I really dont want them touching my car but also feeling stuck because of the warranty on the transmission). It has been 4 days and still no response to the 2 emails I sent requesting service. At this point I am over it and will be taking it to a mechanic that I trust. So now I will be $4,000 in the hole for an 07 car....for all this I could have put that down on a new car! Northeast Transmission is not upfront and they are taking zero responsibility nor are they following up. I will never, ever, ever bring a vehicle back to this place. If they do not honor the 2 year warranty on my transmission my lawyer will be contacted. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I have been going to NE trans for at least 30 years after being sent there by a lifelong friend who said they were unusually HONEST. I agree with him.They let me know the options before doing the work. if ever there was a problem it was fixed free of additional cost. the best part is they ALWAYS diagnose it right. I think these are qualities that are hard to find in any mechanic today.

Purchased a transmission replacement a year and a half ago it quit 400 miles out of their two year, 24,000 mile warranty. $2,000 down the drain.

I found this place on the AAA app since I am a AAA member. I received a phone call every time there was something else they discovered needed to be changed/replaced/repaired with a price and the new estimated total.

I went today to check my GMC Denali transmission and after shutting the vehicle off on their premises it did not start up again because the starter went bad. I had no choice but for Northeast Transmission & Auto Repair to replace the starter. Northeast Transmission & Auto Repair replaced the starter without informing me of the price. After the starter was replaced the digital display clock was not displaying the numbers anymore. After the repair was completed they gave me a bill of $ 343.40. They charged me $175.00 for labor and $165.00 for the starter. This is twice the price as I normally get charged by my usual mechanics. I have been in the Limousine Service business for 40 years and I am well aware of parts and labor charges. After I questioned the price, the manager, Jack used profanity against me. This review is a friendly warning for future customers to be aware of this unlawful practice, unprofessional customer service and high prices. I highly recommend to NOT use Northeast Transmission & Auto Repair.

NE Transmission & Auto Repair is the best! 5 stars is not enough. They are pleasant and very knowledgeable. They are the reason my Trailblazer is still on the road with 186,000 miles. Being a mechanic for 20 plus years and not doing it anymore I found it very hard to find a honest, quality, personable mechanic to work on my car as well as family and friends. Now I can finally say I found that place. These guys are great. Would recommend them any day of the week. Took my fathers car there to get a pretty big job done. TIiming chain, water pump, pulleys, tensioners, and more. The price was at least 25% cheaper than anyone else, the work was done flawlessly, and their attitude and tardiness was great.

I found everyone kind and they listened to what I said the issues were. They came when they said they would to pick up my jeep.

People may or may not know that most small repair shops do not have the ability to do transmission rebuilds in house. We have to use a transmission shop that does great work and stands behind it in the unlikely event something does happen. I send all my customers cars there and so do every shop I know in my area. Take a tour before dropping off your vehicle. Youll be impressed. The place is spotless and your car will be too when you get it back. I dont know what the problem is with the dope talking about his radiator and o2 sensor but I guess its expected if you deal with the general public. Thanks Ron for all your years of dedicated service.

So far they will not honor the warranty for the transmission this is crazy! This long-term company should stand by there work!! Instead of being so good at there job that they can talk there way out of any problem I will not let them get away with this !!!

This place is HORRIBLE! DO NOT go here! Any positive previous review has to be fabricated by employees of the shop or friends/ family. Transmission has been an issue every since I came here and got a new one! They did maint to my transmission and failed to inform me that the check engine light that was on was on because of a Transmission issue, a transmission they put in almost less than a year ago, and a transmission they charged me for seals etc and failed to inform me theres an issue with the transmission and thats why the check engine light is on. It was a shop I took my car too immediately after leaving there that informed me. I made sure to take it somewhere else right after. A good transmission shop isnt going to perform and charge a customer for seals etc for a transmission especially when theres an issue with the transmission causing the check engine light to come on. I will be contacting outside companies and will be pursuing legal action. Did I forget to mention that they dont even call the customer to update them, the customer instead has to harass and call them to get any kind of answer, and at that your getting answers missing the truth.

My transmission blew out on my 06 ford van and i knew of these guys when i Worked at Panther towing back in 2010. I never had service done here before but im so glad i chose them over my reg shop.I dropped of can at 630am on Wednesday and by 11am on Thursday i got a call that my van was done..WOW. A full trans replacement in less then 1 full work day. Ty so much ryan for all your help and work.P.S. the go ahead for the work was giving at 3pm on Wednesday...

My first contact with N/E transmission was over 20 years ago, I have been using them ever since.My lates contact was in May of this year,MY daughters van broke down, it had no revers or drive.the van has over hundred & fourty thounds miles.I though it would need a trans overhaul for sure.They called me two days latery and told me it did not need a transmission, that it was a bad trans axle.I told them to replace both axles to be safe.The next day the van was done.The cost with parts & labor $750.00.I would highly recomend them,they do all types of car repairs. Hello I will never ever refer nobody to them I have a warranty for my truck I went their to get a transmission to put in came out with other problem such as I needed a radiator an o2sensor and took the car back they put an radiator in it but the transmission is still acting up I took my car to Autozone they said its the transmission that is acting up I call them they said bring it back we will check it out this is the third time I am bringing back dont go to them will be disappointed
