Good customer service. However I was quoted $785 to replace a quarter panel on my Equinox. The Chevy dealer did for $381. Would i use Safelite in the future? Yes, but it always pays to shop around.

Safe light is the best way to go when you’re replacing the windshield or anything to do with auto glass. The tech Phi that did my windshield. Was very polite professional and he was on time. And answered all my questions with no problem. I highly recommend them . If you use them . You will be glad you did I was.

Had an appt at their shop. Left my car n walked around the area. After an hour they called me to say they ordered the wrong windshield (to be replaced)./Rescheduled me for the following week to do the work at my house. After waiting one hour past my appt time, I called to ask where they were n was told they had no record of my appt while I had paperwork they gave me the 1st time re this appt. Then they offered me an appt time from 8 to 1 pm like I have nothing else to do but wait n hope they show up this time. I said no thanks n took my car elsewhere. This place is a joke in my opinion; who runs a business this way??? Cant speak to the quality of their work or product but it cost me 2 weeks without my car due to their ineptness. Good luck if you choose this place of business to have your work done.

Bad customer service. I went to the shop in South Philadelphia nearby washington ave, the gentle gave me a quote on Monday 3 weeks ago still no quote. so Stupid I would not recommending people to go there especially i need the windshield replacement for inspection, bad service.

It was quick and easy a lot faster than I actually it thought he said two hours it was done in about an hour/ hour and a half I do recommend them.

Kenneth shown up to replace the windshield. He removed the damaged windshield then said he will not remove what is required to installed the windshield. He then replaced the damaged windshield incorrect and left the car in a worst condition than when he found it. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Waiting for safelite to call me back.

They did a wonderful job replacing my windshield and wiper blades! As they were moving my car inside my phone automatically connected to my cars bluetooth as my mother was yelling at me (lol). Be aware that the waiting room is closed! Thats the reason I moved this from five stars to four, because on their site and in emails I saw information relating to the waiting room so I assumed it was open. Luckily, theres a lovely Vietnamese Cafe nearby so I was able to wait out the rest of the appointment time there!

I arrived at this place on time. They checked me in and said it would be a hour or hour and a half. So I walked around for a hour and 15 minutes, came back. The guy said oh its going to be another 45 minutes to an hour. They had not even worked on my car, but they want to send 10 emails before my appointment. Needless to say it took almost 3 hours. I paid for it and pulled off. I was halfway home and my alarms werent working. So I called, the guy on the phone said that I had to come back. Came back no parking at all. They couldnt figure out how to get it working again. This was a very bad experience took almost my whole day. Do not go here unorganized and you have to wait forever.

I had my windshield replaced over a year ago while visiting in Florida. Last week my mirror fell off of the replaced windshield. Two minutes at the local Safelite in Springfield Pennsylvania and it was back on, good as new. A lifetime warranty on the parts and labor is awesome!

Quick windshield repair for a fraction of what the dealership was asking for. They cant replace your registration stickers, though.

The technician Lance was very friendly and helpful. He made phone contact with me as to his arrival time and he was prompt He explained what was going on with the vehicle. He had his mask on while we were in contact with one another. Good experience during a bad situation.

This is not my first time using Safelite. There have been 3 different times and 3 different vehicles. One of them was a windshield replacement and 2 for chips or cracks. Twice they came to my home and did an excellent job on the spot and recently I went to the store for repair. They started at my appointment time and finished in the amount of time specified. The manager gave me a bottled water being that I had to wait outside. No waiting in the reception area due to Covid 19. Great work each time and the work is guaranteed.

I went there today to have my windshield replaced. I dropped my car off at 8am and was able to pick it up at 10am! Marcello and his crew are great guys and they really delivered on their promises. He even reported the loss for me to my insurance company. I highly recommend this location and would definitely go back if I need to replace my windshield.

Total waste of my time. They messed up and didnt order the molding for my windshield. The technician said hed come back. He never showed and they rescheduled for the next morning without confirming me. They wasted my whole day and had no remedy to help me out. Dont waste your time. Go to A.O.K. on Washington Ave instead. Good Quality work, cheaper, and they wont waste your time

Really nice service and friendly people. It took less time than they told me it would which is always nice. I had to go back because my cars eyesight didnt fully calibrate the first time for whatever reason but they made it easy enough to get everything fixed and it was all covered under warranty. They even made time for me to fit my work schedule. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because I had to go back after spending almost $800. But overall I still would say it was handled well. Definitely would recommend.

My tech, George was very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions with his expertise and gave advise on how best to ensure a lasting bond between the glass and the body of the vehicle. And a great job done as well.They gave about a 2 hour notice ahead of time which helped me plan for their service. Ill greatly recommend Safelite.

They replaced the windshield on my F150 truck. Quote was $220. Before they installed it the rep brought me back to show me that the windshield they had did have a small defect and asked if I would prefer another one.... To me it was a smudge- hardly anything I would consider a defect. I was offered a fair discount and the job was completed in about 30 minutes and I was on my way with my new windshield for $150

Last week marked my second visit to Safelite in four years, both times after my car was broken into and a window smashed. My insurance sent me here both times but given the choice, I would pick these guys 10 out of 10 times. They are efficient, kind, courteous, and professional. They know exactly what they are doing. During a frustrating and uncomfortable time, these guys really help put my mind at ease--twice.

Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will follow up further to the consumer board. Had a service to get my windshield replace from 8am to 12pm. To which the driver didnt arrive until 11:55am and had the wrong replacement glass window. I then asked to speak with a supervisor Dana as to why I didnt get a courtesy call or follow up to which she was very rude and showed no level of customer service or professionalism.

I love the fact that I can make reservations online and let them know beforehand what type of glass you need to replace. The main entrance to the shop is hard to find though as they dont have a sign thats facing Washington Ave. I was there for 2 hours to replace my car window. It was kind of a long wait to be sure, but it was understandable since they were really busy back then.

The manager is an honest man. Thats hard to find these days. Will bring my car there again. I was very impressed.

Cracked windshield on my car. Through my insurance was able get a SAME day appointment to bring my car into the shop and they did it on the spot in less than 45 minutes. Looks brand new! Superb job and timing. Definitely satisfied with service. Will see how the glass holds up over the next couple months (they have warranty coverage included too).

He put my car window back in less than an hour and vacuumed too. The safelite worker did an excellent job..He had a nice personality too.

I had a nickel-sized chip that needed to be repaired in order to pass the PA state inspection. The whole process at Safelite was pleasant. The customer service rep scheduled an appointment the next morning and was extremely professional. The shop received the car immediately once I arrived and repaired the damage in ~30 minutes for around $100. The chip was filled and visibly reduced by 90%, passing the inspection. The experience exceeded expectations and I am very satisfied with the service.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and speed of my front windshield replacement by Safelite AutoGlass, 709 Washington Ave at Passyunk. The staff were friendly, offered me information I didnt know to ask for, and answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. I might add that my own insurance broker had used and recommended the 709 Washington Ave, Safelite AutoGlass shop, as had the concierge of my condo association.

If youre here, something went wrong. That being said, the customer service here is spot on and makes the experience easier. They accept appointments online and can coordinate with your insurance provider. All in all...a seamless experience.

My rear drivers side window got broken. I went in on a Saturday. They didnt have the window I needed but had it shipped overnight. I made an appointment to drop my car off 2 days later on Monday. Window was fixed by 10 a.m. and I was able to pick it up on my lunch break. Fantastic, friendly, helpful service

I just had my front windshield replaced by Safelite (through Liberty Mutual) for my new 2015 BMW 4 Series. You could imagine I would be skeptical about where I would go. After some deliberation I took it down the block to Safelite on Washington Ave. My experience was awesome. I requested BMW glass and after some time for approval from the insurance company, the Safelite Team had it ordered and ready for install. They called and I brought my car over (Id recommend bringing the car to the shop, but I havent gone though their mobile service so I cant comment on it). After less than 2hrs, they had a brand-new glass installed, with excellent work. The interior was clean, the glass was flawless, and all the functionality (rain sensor/HUD) were working as before. After my $50 deductable, I was out and taken care of.As much as you read online about Safelite horrors, please check out this location in South Philly. Marcel (manager) and team were professional, fast, and provided customer-centric service. A+!!

Horribly rude. This location parks customers cars (and sometimes their vans) in the middle of the sidewalk in a residential neighborhood.

My windshield was severely shattered during a recent storm where a huge sheet of ice landed on top of it. Since it was such a busy time with the storm, initially my three day wait for an appointment was going to have to be cancelled and I was very concerned. Marcel from Safelight was extremely understanding and apologetic and when I explained that it was indeed an emergency, he immediately worked his magic and the technician was to my vehicle in under 30 minutes. The technician, Chris, was extremely friendly and did a great job with replacing my window. He took his time and made sure that the glass was vacuumed out and walked me through what he did and tips moving forward. I can not say enough good things about this experience!

First time I dealt with Safelite when they came to the house the tech didnt do the job right but once we meet with the manager Im pretty sure his name was Marcelles he was very helpful understanding and made our visit very delightful and fixed the problem right away

I got ripped off. They replaced my glass and everything was fine but then they made me pay out of pocket instead of my deductible that my insurance company had assured me I would pay only. So I gave this company literally my savings and they still havent reimbursed me almost 3 weeks later.In all that time I have not been able to reach anyone in their billing department and neither has the owner of my insurance company been able to track down my reimbursement. This is ridiculous.Its not like I can go to the cops and tell them a corporation stole my money and hasnt returned it. They wont care. Thats literally not why they exist.Where my money at??????A man gotta eat.

After 20 mins waiting and talking to a machine which barely understands you, I get a person who says the systems are down and I need to get a quote online. The online system quoted higher price compared to what I got on the site few weeks back when we did not have storms pounding the east coast. I got windshield replaced for half of the coast from local shop and faster than Safelite. Overpriced hype.

Excellent service! Manager/Owner was present and informed me about a small scratch in the replacement and asked if I wanted a different one. Scratch wasnt even noticeable and they could have put it on with out my knowing and I wouldnt have noticed. Kudos on the honest service, this was my 4th windshield ive had replaced in my 12 years of driving. That being said.. I would definitely go back and recommend my friends/ family to this location.

I need my windshield replaced for my Hyundai Ioniq and the representatives at this location gave me the runaround for months.The manager assured me the windshield will arrive in 2 days and I get a call from another rep in the company saying theyre not sure when it will arrive 2 days later.They love to play the blame game and do not take responsibility for what they say to customers.

I scheduled an appointment. Waited one week. Arrive at my scheduled appointment date and time. Apparently nobody had ordered the part necessary for the repair so they couldnt fix my car. So now Im frustrated that I waited a week for nothing. Not sure where the miscommunication was but its clear that information is not flowing from one part of the company to another very well. So I wont be coming back.

They were friendly and efficient, once work was completed it was just moments to finish paperwork and away we went.

Terrible service, not too professional. They repaired my windshield crack came back two weeks later. Did not clean windshield thoroughly prior to fixing, if the shop person did it sure didnt look like it. Replaced windshield wipers with cheap small ones. Wipers I had were okay they still worked better than those. Customer service for the company was excellent. GO somewhere else.

I recently had my front windshield replaced by Safelite, and they were very professional and efficient. I made an appointment on a Friday, and they were out to replace my windshield by Tuesday (first available time they had), and within the time frame that they quoted me.

My insurance company referred me to Safelite for a glass claim, and it was a great experience from start to finish, especially the fantastic service from my technician Souky Sayngam. He was prompt and professional in keeping me informed about his schedule and ETA, he arrived right on time (I chose the Come To Me service) and the quality of his work astonished me. He made the the chip in my windshield virtually disappear. All thats left is a tiny smudge that I can barely see. On top of it all, he was cheerful, took pride in his work and clearly enjoyed his job. Keep up the great work, Safelite!

I had a large crack in my windshield of my brand new Jeep, I called and asked them if they could replace it with the same windshield because I love the little Jeep emblems printed into the windshield. Yes I know its silly but thats what I wanted dangit! The guys at safelite went out and checked the windshield in the warehouse for the emblems and then parked my Jeep inside overnight so I could leave the top off. Above and beyond on both counts!

They were to the point (a little on the unfriendly side) and fast ( i had a small issue to be fixed). the young guy at the counter sounded like a con, but costumers (myself) are not stupid. He wanted to warn me that it will take one and a half hour but the job in 20 min. He also warned me that the front glass might break in the process and inquired what my deductible was......wonder why? was is wanting to break the glass so to replace it and get more business.....!!!!! who knows. As I said, he sounded like a con.He also said, no matter how many cracks we fix, your insurance pays them the same amount!!!!All in all, since there are no other SafeLites in the near by area, we are stuck with them.If I had to redo this, I would go elsewhere.

I not only got my window replaced in an excellent fashion but also actually really enjoyed the time I spent waiting for it to be don,e because the employees at SafeLite are also such wonderful people. I scheduled an appointment for Safelight to come to my home to replace my windshield (which was critical as I had an appointment to get my car inspected the the next morning). I called in a favor for someone to wait there between 1 and 5 pm-- the service window and the website indicated that someone would call that morning with a more defined arrival time. They did not. Eventually I called the local number and they confirmed that someone was on the way. My friend continued to wait. I called again at 4:30, as still no sign of anyone and service was to be completed by 5pm... they told me that someone would be arriving in 10 minutes, but that they would not finish by 5... so I called my friend and confirmed that he could wait even longer and then let Safelight know. By 5:15 STILL no one showed. I called the office I had been speaking too and no one answered, as they were now closed. I went on line and my appointment had been cancelled.At this point, I was furious. Not only had someone wasted a half a day for nothing at my request, I now had to cancel my appointment with the dealership for my appointment the next morning. .I expect that I will receive a call back the next day to reschedule, and maybe even apologize and offer a discount. Nope.By the second day after, I called the office and asked to speak to a manager. There was no one available or on duty, so I asked for someone to call me within the hour. Of course no manager ever called.I did eventually get a robo-email encouraging me to reschedule my appointment with a coupon. No chance in hell, Safelight.I have rarely had a company of this size be so disrespectful and entirely lack customer service.
