I was familiar with H Mart from their Koreatown store in Manhattan. But WOW! This is the Chinese-Japanese-Korean food & ingredient nirvana! So happy its just 6 minutes away!

Ive been to a lot of Asian markets looking for various specific items and have run into some good ones AND not so good ones. this HMart may take the crown for best stocked and best organized Asian market that Ive come across so far!I would rate the produce quality a 7 but would it would be nice to see a wider variety.meats and seafood was very well stocked with a clean and organized butcher area and a very large seafood area and fish mongers.dry goods were aplenty in the well organized, well lit aisles. they were organized by category as well as regional cuisine.there was even a well organized area for some daily necessities near the checkout counters.aI would definitely invite anyone who needs to go shopping for some Asian inspiration to swing by and check this place out!!

My first time, and I loved it. Very well stocked, clean, except for the fish smell when you enter, but the fish is all is fresh. This place is like a real open air market, with live fish and lobster, and even live octopus, all fresh. I will be returning soon, make sure you have time to look around, there is so much to see.

My daughter and I visited this location for the first time today. It was clean. Well stocked and organized. Produce and seafood looked fresh. We decided to get dinner at the restaurants and tried a variety of items. Everything from sushi and Ramen bowls were fresh and delicious! Looks like we found a new spot to eat out!

The prices are quite HIGH, but theres convenience to off-set them as theyre open 365. They have fresh fruits, veggies, meat, and seafood. I particularly like the freshly cooked food like fried wings, sushi, and tofu soup; the tofu soup has intestines in it, I prefer the seafood one but they dont make it. Skip the bakery, its overpriced unless you want to pay $3.50 for a croissant.

Loveeeeee H Mart, especially this store because its so big and clean. I cook A LOT so going to H Mart feels like Disney to me. Things I usually get when were there:- Watercress and other green produce- Thai chili peppers 🥵- King oyster mushrooms- Frozen squid for grilling- Family pack of ribeye steaks- Sushi grade salmon- Chicken is always super affordable- Marinated spicy bulgogi & all kinds of Korean BBQ ingredients- Kimbap to snack on during car ride home- 25lb bag of rice- The best Asian fruits like cheap jackfruit or rambutan when its in season- Sojuuuuu!!Having an H Mart nearby has really helped me recreate a lot of cultural recipes I grew up eating ☺️

My first time going. I was like Kid in a candy store. There was so much variety. I grabbed some things to try. Great sushi and the bakery was phenomenal

Best H Mart that I know of. Its huge. Its new. Its so clean. It sells beer and wine! It appears to be fully accessible with no stairs, wide, bright aisles. The bins are high but not too high if seated. The signs are easy to read in English and Korean. The prices are large and also easily read and sale items readily identified by signs and special displays and end caps. This H Mart contains the Home Store and Health Store in separate areas within the main supermarket. There are people everywhere stocking shelves, arranging produce and answering questions from shoppers (in English, Korean and Spanish). The products of other Asian origin are clearly labeled. The African and Latin American food items are just as prominently featured as at other H Mart supermarkets. The separated dining establishments are still within the building and can be accessed from the supermarket but also have a separate entrance. The employees are of diverse backgrounds as well. The parking lot is large and free. This is a great food shopping experience for this neighborhood and Philadelphians overall

The cleanest, most organized H Mart Ive been to! Ive lived in New York my whole life before moving here in Philly so Ive seen a plenty. This store has everything you need in terms of Asian cuisine. Their product variety is extensive. The food court is a good addition as well. Most important Tiger Sugar just opened up there! This is our go to for good quality meats, fresh vegetables and more!

Clean and such a great selection. Really unique supermarket to get anything Asian and more. Love the food court located inside the market. Just a pleasant shopping experience and a nice change in variety.

This is a great place to shopping for things you never see before or if you like to try different cultures this is the place. Different fruits, drinks, food, pantries, rice, meats most everything. People are nice there.

Fantabulous. I love, love, love the old warehouse exposed piping look. It adds a sense of your in a mid country market. The selection is endless. To be able to sample vegetation from abroad, to keep the taste buds guessing. Wonderful.Keeping in mind your business caters to a varied number of ethnicities there should be AT least two English speaking people working at all hours of operation.

Very clean and very Organized. They have lots of fresh fruits and invegetable a whole lot of selection. This store is amazing it has everything even a food court. Ate at the food court and the food was delicious as well, 5 stars for me.

If youre a fan of H Mart (and you should be!) this is H Mart Nirvana. Or should I say H(eaven) Mart. [see what I did there?] First of all, its big. Very big. And clean. And bright. Wide, clearly marked aisles. Beer and wine. The usual selection of other-worldly rice cookers. Meat and seafood selection is what you can expect from H Mart (huge selection, high quality). Seafood selection is particularly impressive (fresh and frozen). And of course a food court that will keep you in the store even longer! Did I mention the French bakery?! This is one H Mart worth the trip!

Always a great experience coming to shop here since all of the food is fresh and clean unlike other supermarkets. Gets a bit crowded at times, but at least theres enough of a selection for everyone. Personally, love the food court, its a great variety of many types of Korean food and pastries 🥰

HUGE new Asian market with pretty much everything you could ever need. Every section is expansive and houses a crazy amount of variety. The fruit & vegetable section and the seafood section are really something. There’s also a food court with a huge selection of choices. The juice pouches are super cute and a fun way of trying new things. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Store is huge, very well stocked with fresh fruits, veggies, seafood, meat and poultry. Although mostly Asian foods, they also have Hispanic foods. The staff is super helpful and can find them everywhere if you need help. They have both live and frozen seafood at reasonable prices and their meats/chicken are beautifully packaged. They have indoor/outdoor dining with various restaurants and best of all, a Paris Baguette bakery with scrumptious pastries. Definitely recommend as they do contact-less temperature check at entrance as well as offer disposable gloves and sanitizer. Congrats on grand opening and best of luck.

Came here weekday night, it was raining and they were lines to get in front of the supermarket. My guess is that theyre limiting the amount of people inside the supermarket. We went to the food court, it wasnt that much varieties of food just yet, hopefully theyll have more soon. They have outdoor seating options and indoor seating to eat. The supermarket itself is pretty good and organized, they do sell beers in the supermarket.

This one is the newest one opened Sep 2019 in Philly area. It is big, clean and has all the stuff you will find from Asian supermarket. It also has food court with 8 stores and Paris Baguette.

I was so excited to come here. This one is the biggest one Ive been to in a while. I got a lot of stuff to bring back with me to NYC. Very clean and organized.

My wife ordered the combo meal with soft tofu and dumpling soup. It was not worth the $17 fast-food meal. Small portions and no flavor to crave for. I was disappointed to say the least. I will try other dishes in the fast food court.

Excellent selection, high quality food, cleanly and an excellent food court as well. Hard to beat honestly.You can tell great attention and care was put into the store and it shows. This section of Philly badly needed a quality Grocery Market for some time now and H Mart is a solid answer to that need.

Such an awesome place. You can find so much here that you cant find at other stores, and the meat and seafood sections are incredible. The produce is extensive and high quality, and they even have an entire two isles of different instant ramens, as well as a food court attached to the store.

This is my favorite Hmart! The space is so big and well organized, the produce is killer, and the seafood is so fresh. The food court is also exceptional - I get takeout all the time and its my favorite. Highly recommend if youre in the area!

A change of pace from traditional markets. All non frozen meats were very fresh. Purchased some ground ribeye to make burgers to put on the grill, the family really enjoy. The wife wanted to know where I purchased the ground beef from. Thanks

This is refreshing to see in this neighborhood. Yes its Asian owned but the food ( so far ) is fresh. Its reasonably priced and they have a lot of different choices to choose from. Salmon, squid, crabs, lobsters, shrimp, conch etc. The vegetables are fresh and has a large variety. Althought I like ShopRite the one in Olney Plaza ( to me) is not up to par. The workers here at HMart are polite. They have little eat in restaurants there with a cute bakery also attached. Its so much going on in this store it will definitely take at least 2 visit to look around. I will definitely continue to drive my 10 mins to come here.

This Hmart is quite spacious and has a great selection! They take your temperature at a self kiosk at the door and also provide polyethylene gloves.

This is a massive location compared to the one in Elkins Park and Upper Darby, Im so glad this opened up! The selection is vast and its super clean. The food court is great, there are so many options

Theres something there for my whole family at the H Mart. My daughter loves the noodle bowls so I can buy them by the case. I love all the fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and the meat and seafood department a wonderful. Its clean and it definitely helps me keep my steps up to 8,000....

H Mart is a mix of Asian culture and Western culture put together as a supermarket and food court and asian food market of Korea, the smells brought me back to my time serving there in the R.O.K. Whatever you can think or seen on TV of the modern-day Korea,its there. Items of Asia are there permitted with the FDA/USDA approvals. The place has everything you can think of and more. The staff are friendly and helpful and its a mix of all ethnic backgrounds,there to shop there. It can be overwhelming for a western to understand the place but with todays technology on youre phone, you can Google it, or use the translations app on youre phone. But I suggest you interact with the people, of course with safety reasons because of the pandemic. The signs are in both languages of Korean and English, they have a mix of products for all. You need a gallon of milk and bread, they have it. So go open yourself up to your world and enjoy the experience. And trust me its fun experience! Just be open and learn something they didnt teach you in school, you will be surprised how big and small the world is in going to a supermarket like this! Have fun shopping there! G C out!😁

Without question, this is an enchanting opportunity to experience Asian cooking ingredients; from produce, to seafood, prepackaged, frozen, cooking tools and equipment, serving dishes. All aisles are clearly labeled, many by region. Very clean, helpful employees, and dont forget - a Food Court, including Paris Baguette. Will visit again and again.

Its another great addition to the H-Mart franchise! My only issue is how you cant get back into the store itself if you ever go to the food court. That would be my only complaint, which is minor. The service is wonderful and everything is fresh and well stocked. Its always worth the 40 minute drive because I know its never a wasted trip

Wow is all i can say about their wonderful food selection. Seafood selection is unbelievable. Not to mention customer service is excellent. Highly recommend this market for shopping if you live in the Philadelphia area.

Super huge H-Mart. So many different products in regards to Asian snacks, kimchi, seafood, a bakery (Paris Baguette), a food court of six+ restaurants, produce section and so much more. Conveniently located adjacent to a boba tea shop and KBBQ restaurant. There are many shopping carts available for use and a decent-sized parking lot. The associates are attentive and friendly. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed roaming through the store and checked out the thousands of various products.

This market is HUGE and has every type of Asian foods, produce, fresh fish, from everywhere! Its clean and no smells...the ppl are nice and so are the customers!! Yeah, if youve not gone I urge you to indulge! Fantastic shopping experience. Oh, stop by the bakery..ummmm ummmm good

It was my first time to visit this H Mart. Wow, its much larger than the others in the area. It was great! I wish I had more time to look around. I was there for over an hour...I had an appointment I had to go to after so I didnt get to see it all. I spent more than I intended and probably would have spent more if I stayed longer. Till next visit!

Just took a walk through with my husband. It is a big store and it has a lot of items.....from household to groceries to seafood live and not. They also have alcoholic beverages. We will be back.

This place is awesome my daughter took me there.They have all kinds of food from veggie to pork to beef they also have a huge fish market in there they even have grades of kemchi and they have a mini food stands so you can sit and enjoy their fantastic food.

This place is awesome I love going here seafood is insane they have some of the biggest jumbo prawn I have ever seen as big as bananas and they are fantastic stuff for crab meat this location is my new hangout I love shopping here

This market is well stocked clean with an exotic variety of foods that allows you to sample flavors from around the world. Most items arent packaged with English language labels but it is an Asian American supermarket. There is a restaurant area and they also sell Asian cookware. I have been twice but I havent explored the entire store. Great atmosphere and large parking lot.

Very useful to find good amounts of Asian-brand foods, including Korean and Japanese. The ones that I liked are stuffed seaweed snacks like seeds and almonds on it, Korean gummy candies, prepared sushi & sashimi, and food court enjoyment. I also know the market has other items like utensils. H Mart was my favorite market that I come, but only certain times whenever I do.

Beautiful, clean, full of everything, so many fruits & vegetables I never heard of, not just Korean specialties. Also a bakery/Cafe inside plus a small Korean food court for eating lunch or dinner with tables & chairs. Just a wonderful shopping experience.

This Koren supermarket and food gallery Has all of the unique foods that the Asian markets offer along with that extra special twist at the end of walking through the f Fast food eatery. The supermarket at this new H mart is larger than the older one with all the same great features and various food items . If youre looking to make your own food it has everything you need if your looking to try and expand your taste palate they have food items that are already prepared for you to try. They have a larger fish department that has a variety of fish that is by far greater than your local supermarket it is phenomenal. The food eatery is nice, I would go back for a fast food pick me up

This place is amazing. So much better than some other hmarts in PA. The place is big with wide aisles, well lit, clean, organized, and good parking lot. It has lots of fruits and vegetables ive never seen before in a typical asian supermarket. They even had some american food as well. The meat and seafood selection really wowed me though. So many excellent options for a decent price. The food court section was open, but I had to eat outside. Nonetheless the food was yummy. So happy theyre finally open again. youre a frequent shopper dont forget to get the rewards card! I didnt know this existed until now and Ive been to hmart for many years haha

This is the best H-Mart Ive ever been to. Im not sure if its because this was just renovated but its super clean and is stocked with fresh fish, hotpot ingredients, veggies and frozen items. The store is also super organized and has a fresh feel to it. On the other hand after purchasing your groceries, there is a food court to pick up some quick bites if youre hungry.

I wish I knew about this location sooner. I frequent another H-Mart in another area, that market is A-OK. This H-Mart here? It’s the mega mart equivalent, dare I say, the Whole Foods version of H-Mart if I’ve ever seen one!Produce ranges from a wider variety of foods that you may see at the next supermarket, and can include lesser known fruits and veggies including doughnut peaches, bitter melon, leeks, and more. They also have your ramen selection, health drinks like soursop, health foods, and beer (the area where you’ll find it is great).H-Mart is a great market to get foods and sea foods in general, but this location is pretty high up on markets I’ll definitely want to shop at.

We are so glad to have discovered the new store shortly after it opened! It is now a regular stop for us! The store is clean, organized and has HUGE assortment of items. Weve actually expanded our repertoire and purchased a 2-tiered bamboo steamer...did I mention their housewares? Much better than other stores.
