Ive been a costumer since they opened years ago. As an art teacher and working artist I usually dont shop here because of the high prices. As I ascended the stairs I saw a man coming down. He didnt make eye contact or greet me so I assumed he was a costumer too. I looked for the product I needed but couldnt find it or any employee to help me. I went back downstairs and asked if anyone could help me. The same guy said, oh I can. He pointed down to the location but didnt show me exactly where to go. As I continued to search I found the air dry clay I needed. They had a 5 lb box for $17 which is insane. Ive paid 18-22 dollars for a 25 lb box of the same product. I gathered what I needed and went to go pay. I asked for the discount (for being a teacher) that Ive always received in the past but they said it wasnt available for this product. They were kind or rude about telling me this. To add insult to injury, in my change I noticed a 5 cent coin from Bermuda. I will not return. This occurred on 6/11/21 around 4pm.
This is a good spot with lots of art supplies. Thats really all I can say about it.
Great variety of art supplies! Often have sales
Super convenient and great prices. They have a wide selection of art supplies. Not a huge store. But they have all the essentials.
Had everything we needed and more. We got mats for photo frames, and there were so many sizes, shades, textures, and thicknesses to choose from. Really nice people working there, too.
Staff was really friendly and helpful!
Staff knowledgeable and were great help....will shop there often
Good selection of specialty items and staff is on top of keeping things socially distanced and safe- the cashier actually locked the door behind me cause the store hit their capacity of 5 shoppers! Bonus, found what I needed despite vendor shortages!
Plaza Artist store was perfect. I was able to find all 9 items on my list. Now i can look forward to creating my statue sculpture.
Great store! Has pretty much all your art supply needs! Also they have savings card which really comes in hand when youre a poor college student and need art supplies for your classes
Great little shop with practically every craft you can think of. Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Obscenely professional staff and an all-encompassing selection. Great deals, great people. Go here.
Great place to go. Great variety and friendly staff. It is the only fine art store in West Philadelphia!
This place has so much variety and a lovely staff. Each visit is a pleasure and I always discover new products.
Westphal students at Drexel know what I mean when I say I might as well make a direct line from my debit card to Plaza. It has what I need tho.
Was able to get what I needed, but felt a bit unwelcome and cold shouldered from the attitude of the young male-presenting cashier I interacted with.
If you love arts, this is the place to be for you. Lots of exciting displays and they also sell some really good items for a price you can afford.
A good choice for quick modeling kits and simple modeling materials. Has varied kinds of supplies.
Its pretty overpriced when they arent having the 30% off sale, but they have everything for my classes at Drexel and are good at stocking things for students. Employees are usually helpful. Not sure if the rewards card does anything.
Great range of materials for every level artist.
I had two items framed here and theyre lovely! Thanks so much!
Great selection. Love the fact that they have Montana Cans.
Go upstairs! Lovely variety of supplies and surfaces.
They are way cheaper than Blick and have a decent selection

They have a little bit of everything, and seem to be the largest art store in UCity
