They have a lot nice things for way less than you would pay for in the store. Their customer service is great. I was well pleased with the items I brought.
Ran into Mary at this location. She was very friendly and extremely helpful! I purchased a mint Denon Home Theater System w/ Bluetooth at an excellent price! Also a cordless Ryobi and charger for $45. Just like the 2 Los Angeles stores that I frequently visit - because that is where I live - they always have excellent deals on home furnishings, tools, supplies and other equipment.
Has nice furniture for prices you can afford, something for everyone!
Great spot to pick up some new to you items or to recycle your unwanted, gently used items. Proceeds go to the great Habitat for Humanity. The store is filled with the friendliest people and there is always a great item just around the corner.
This is a place where you can find new and used items like in a thrift shop or flea market. The proceeds benefit the Habit For Humanity foundation. You can find items like clothes, furniture and appliances. They even have a selection of paints and doors. So go check out the sales they have every day 😉.
An excellent resource for anybody looking to improve their home on a budget. Inventory constantly changes day to day and you never know what kind of gems youll find. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Easily accessible off of SEPTA routes 12, 64 and 17. Enjoy!
We all know what habitat for humanity does. This is one of their local thrift stores. They get everything from knick knacks, books, furniture& kitchen cabinets. They also have some new goods donated by contractors who have supplies left over from job sites. For example new tiles, light bulbs, just about anything construction related. Check out my pictures. Prices are a smidge high on some stuff imo(like the paint, can get it cheaper in the oops section at a big box store) but I suppose thats from many different volunteers pricing. I would have given them 4 stars, but the guys working the counter are always super nice so they deserve to keep all 5 for that alone. Becareful in the parking lot if you park in front of the doors. People try and whip in off Washington while people are trying to back out. The guys let me grab a table from the dumpster area that was broken but perfect for a charity project. So I threw them the few ones I had in my pocket for a donation.
Tried to go Saturday afternoon, they were closed. Nothing indicated they were closed on their Instagram. Are they closed permanently???
I have purchased furniture and appliances from Restore and I have been very satisfied. If you are looking for furniture or appliances they have a large inventory. Some items are new and some are used but in great condition. I promise that it will not disappoint. Washington Ave. in south Philly.
Didnt have much . Alot of ooold stuff.
Did not find what i was looking for. Butthere are a lot of items that families can appreciate.
Great finds, lots of inventory!
One of my favorite stores to go before the pandemic started. They always had a great selection of tile - super cheap. And best of like-new furniture pennies on the dollar. I hope to see this store open the near future.
You never know what youll find -- always fun 😉
This place has really gone down hill! Not very much stuff at all and certain things are way overpriced. Do yourself a favor a drive across the bridge and go to the one in New Jersey.
Update: habitat made my day again! The employees are always SO nice. I had bought two dining chairs as a non-set a few weeks ago, and was bummed they didnt have a third. So when I went back and they had more I was excited. Unfortunately they were being sold in sets of two, but I asked if I could buy just one and they let me since I already had two and didnt need four. Theyre so nice! There is no reason to ever buy new furniture from a regular store if you have a Habitat for Humanity ReStore near you. They have almost brand new furniture for sale all the time. Every day I go (normally 1-2 times a week because I just bought a house near here), there is something new. I recommend checking back frequently to find exactly what youre looking for. I recently bought my first item from them after several times hunting, and bought a $60 TV stand originally $250 from Ikea that Im going to turn into a 75 long bench for my dining table. My only complaint, is that its extremely hard to communicate during check out. Theres a TV going on right next to the register, and its just a loud place in general, plus masks & plexglass... not a great combination. I could barely understand anything.
Great prices for quality items. They have very helpful staff
Good place to find vry low prices on items for in and around the house
Nice place for savings on building materials that can be reused that help process of manufacturing and recycling ♻️ and help environmental.
They had a lot of stuff but unfortunately I didnt find what I was looking for this time
They have best furniture and other items for your home at great prices. Carpets, sinks, doors and paint in abundance.
After spending over $100 for some great finds this day trip turned into a nightmare I have been trying to get in contact for a week now because while we were there and accident happened Im very disheartening at the reaction of this company in their insurance company 💔 as of now still have not received a phone call email or anything regarding this issue
Always useful things
The price is very high
Had a great experience at Habitat for Humanity, employees we polite and helpful.
The prices are absolutely ridiculous for used and donated items. I used to like shipping here for different pieces, but not anymore. Youre better off buying it brand new, that way if you have any issues you can return or replace it.
Good selection of second hand furniture. Helpful and friendly staff. Store is clean.
Found lovely jars and dishes. Excellent selection of furniture and lots of surprise goodies.
I really think some of these reviewers have no clue how much new furniture costs. I saw brand new lamps at Habitat for $30 that were online for $120. I saw various BRAND NEW Safavieh items that I also found online and while some things were close in price (patio set online $470; Habitat price $400), most things that I found online were substantially higher. I purchased some Keller Charles melamine plates for outdoor eating for $1 a plate and Amazon has them four for $35. Like all used furniture stores, you have to hit it on the right day to find the right item. Finally, we found the staff incredibly helpful and friendly.Back again today (10/24/2020): Found an end table marked $60 that we found online for $215 and a lamp for $25 that we also found online for $135. Also, Threshold coffee mugs with a manufacturer tag of $5 for 25 cents each. The lady behind us in line bought Levolor blinds (still in the box) for $20 (online for $70). A man walked out with multiple bathroom sinks for $20 each and a stainless steel kitchen sink with an offset bowl for $50. You simply could not believe the amount of doors he was buying! He filled his entire van with them and sinks! And I convinced a couple to buy a pair of Safavieh lamps for $50 that retail for $240. Audrey Elaine and Ajee checked us out and they did a beautiful job wrapping everything and were incredibly helpful and friendly!
Great store. You can’t beat these prices. The furniture is quality and very reasonable. They should do more advertising because this might be one of phillys best kept secrets
Great store with reasonable prices.
Beautiful pieces available, all price ranges. Appliances and home supplies like paint etc too.
A bit Pricey for it to be second or third hand... But They have a few ok items
They have a lot to see
Nice selection, good prices
Great selection of new, yes new, furniture and area rugs in addition to donated furniture. And the proceeds go toward a very worry cause instead of to a retail stores bottom line.
Discount price for all different needs for home and office. Stocks changes daily.
ReStore is great!! They have target household items for around $30-150 that normally sell for $150-600. Highly recommend for all furniture and building needs
Has everything you can think of and more
I liked their selection of used and somewhat new items they have and the quality was surprising from my experiences at other thrift-store. Their staffs were very nice and cordial, and offered me help several times as I walked around the store looking at all they had to offer. Will definitely come again. It does help that their price is way more cheaper than your traditional thrift-stores in the area.
I shopped at Habitat for Humanity for years but the prices at this location are unreasonable for used furniture. It’s surprising that they’re able to mark-up donated furniture and appliances up that much. It’s cheaper to buy new, which is disappointing for the community and good cause.
Great they are always helpful
I liked the selection of items they have and the quality was surprising from my experiences at other locations. Staff was very nice and offered me help several times as I walked around the store looking at all they had to offer. Will definitely come again.
The staff is always very helpful. You need to get there early in the morning, the good stuff goes quick. There is a very large variety of furniture, home improvement supplies, and books.
Perfect place to find interesting furniture or cheaper options for home renovation. They stock a variety of pieces, pretty well organized and displayed, priced from a couple of dollars to a couple thousand. The staff is very friendly and will help you load stuff into your car if need be.
Enjoy going in looking. Could be searching for one thing and find something else. Always have a few $ in your pocket in case you see something you like.
PRICES HIGH NOT LIKE IT WAS WHEN IT FIRST OPENED UP. SERVICE BAD STAFF REFUSED TO HELP WITH ANYTHING BUT PAYING FOR YOUR ITEM YOUR ON YOUR ONLY
Im posting as a semi-vegan/vegetarian, but honestly, I imagine this place is even better for people who eat meat. There are usually four or five things that vegetarians can eat and of course they are different from the usual fare and -quite happily- very delicious!Prices are good in the servings are very filling! You can either buy prepackaged food, or they will make you one of three vegetarian Banh mi on the spot.
Good deal
Love this restore, shop often because you never know what you will find!
So friendly and easy to buy furniture. Really Dynamite staff. Usually I give 4 stars, but I throw them the extra star for staff attractiveness.
Besides used items... Sometimes new times are donated here. I would recommend checking here before starting a project.Having grown up in a habitat home, I know first hand that the funds go to a great cause.
You can great terrific deals here. Ive picked up everything from carpet and doors to lightbulbs and paint. ... Even a bathroom sink. The kitchen sink is next. But beware: the bargain shoppers can be a bit aggressive.
Location is great but compared to other HABITAT locations it seems this one gets the less cared for merchandise. Maybe because its inside the city. One in Delaware county and NJ much better
This particular day I walked out with a long length roll pillow and four lamps Im 59 and the lamp was my height and everything came from a hotel nice things in great condition heavy furniture just so happy to be there great timing. Trust and believe Ill be going back.
If one needs to purchase miscellaneous items for home repair or satisfying ones hobby, this place can be entertaining to ones venture..I needed a piece of drywall to complete a project and got lucky for a few cents on the dollar 🤜🏾🤛🏾
It was good
Super friendly staff, place has a vast selection of items that are decently priced but things sell fast, so if youre interested in anything, buy it quickly and dont wait.
I always enjoy checking out the merchandise at this location. Every one is very friendly. And it has lots of great deals and steals.
Helpful, Friendly staff.Quality used items. An opportunity to help the less fortunate and pick up real Bargains.Amazing to see a successful enterprise Without a Profit Motive!
Great furniture...household. items...reasonable prices,very nice.helpful staff,,Thanks Michelle
You get what you see, fair quality furniture and items at reasonably cheap prices. Good place for the DIYer.
The selection is a bit lacking. At other HFH places Ive seen molding that had been removed for a remodel, tile too.But if you are interested in leaning towards the furnishing aspect, they will have you covered.
They are a bit expensive but I found ceramic tile flooring for a price that I wouldnt beat anywhere else.
Staff is very nice. I found a cute little and table this time.
Prices are high, close to Depot prices for used stuff. More than half of the items need to be put on the trash. Langhorne, and Blue Bell better prices better selection. Waste of time
Great selection and prices. Checking out the sofas for the right fit is no problem and help is all around if you need it.
It is a nice place to shop to pick up some odds and ends. The store employees is very helpful.
Terrible! Prices astronomically high. Not sure why??
Great buys
For somebody wants nice stuff on a budget and dont mind a scratch here and there.
A host of things for everyone great prices and lovely people.
I love this place I always find great stuff really good price
The place is nice and friendly people nice stuff i would tell the world about habitat for humanity love it
They have quite a bit to choose from a affordable prices. I got my daughter a efficiency table and stools for $100.
Good deals have to get there at the right time they go fast
Nice cashier very friendly and helpful an easy, enjoyable and most importantly affordable experience !
Horrible and slacking workers! I just had the worst experience! I was just there Wednesday and bought a blk coffee table (which I love) and a surf board console table. I swear the lazy heavy set black dude at the check out was taking forever to check me out too busy talking and joking around. I finally paid and told him Ill be back the next day to grab the stuff. I go back the next day after work, and theyre saying what tables? Did you put the Sold sign on them? Im like, NO! Nobody gave me a Sold sign to put on the tables. The same guy was at the check out and hes like oh I thought I gave you those slips! No dumbass, you didnt! Luckily the coffee table was still there but the surf board table wasnt. It had been resold because it didnt have any sold sign on it! That table is hard to find, and they were like 6 of them when I left there Wednesday thats how quick they sold! People where on them like hot cakes when I was there, I really wanted that table! I got my money back but still, I browsed at alot of places and was happy to had finally find one!
This is a nice place of second hand housing items that are decently priced. There is no clothing at this store .
Prices are very high,
Very very affordable furniture pieces that dont compromise quality! I also loved that they sell paint as well.
A great place to buy items from sinks, carpets, vanities, hot tubs, miscellaneous, living and dining room furniture
Always friendly always helpful always wonderful items for great prices
If in doubt try them out!
This is one of my favorite habitat in the city of Philadelphia have a very large selection of furniture and doors and windows and miscellaneous items they also have pretty decent appliances
I visit Restore in all cities when I spend the night...this is a store of very decent merchandise and reasonable prices. I will sure return
A win-win situation; nice inventory, excellent prices for the consumer, and profits go to a GREAT cause. Pleasant workers too.
Found what we needed at a good price.
Good place to pick up gently used items at great prices
Good place to treasure hunt, if you have time.
Great place to find furniture. They are pretty organized and the staff is polite.
They have some reason reasonably priced up and a lot of stuff are overpriced like to building materials they are higher than home depots prices and when you ask the manager about it she gives you an attitude and says well thats our prices and their workers were all hovering around the cash registers not helping people
Great finds for furniture restorations but prices have gone up quite a bit since opening.
