FFO is a great place to buy, sell or transfer! The shop is on the smaller side but they pack a lot of inventory and knowledge into it. The staff is friendly and full of expertise for any questions you may have. While you wait for your background check to process, you get to see them continue to help a diverse set of customers and they always seem to have a interesting story to tell. Dont forget to browse fishing supplies or accessories as well while youre here!

Go back to chestnut hill, Addison. I’ve been coming here for a long time. Always had professional and courteous service. Health guidelines are always followed. For the crazy times we live in now these folks have a pretty nice selection of everything.

Honestly I’m not the type of person to write reviews but my experience at this shop has been nothing but superb. During the pandemic like many people, gun ownership became not only a reality but a priority. When you first walk into a gun shop it can be nerve racking because you don’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked through their front door, they have been nothing but informative, accommodating, and hospitable. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I walked in a year ago knowing very little about guns, a year later I’m on a first name basis and have purchased and sold 4 firearms through them. I have referred a few friends and they all had the same experience . Will and Patty are the kindest, thoughtful, and expert people I have ever met in a gun shop. I’m proud to call them my go to FFL and I have zero doubt I’ll be a lifelong customer 10/10 recommend ! If you need a gun and some knowledge founding fathers is the place for you!

This gun shop is the only place with a hard 5 star rating. I was in the store getting my gun that I ordered from grabagun & the process was no longer than 10 minutes for me. Patricia handed me the gun to check out, I filled out my paperwork & checked out right after. Everyone in the store was great. I’m coming back as soon as they call me again for my next gun.

I purchased an XDM from an online store and had it shipped to Founding Fathers Outfitters for the FFL transfer. They were very friendly and professional and the process was simple enough. I noticed there were a few customers looking for recommendations on guns and the staff seem more than happy to explain options and offer advise. They had a decent selection but you can also order through them if they dont have something in stock. I would definitely recommend!
