1000% authentic German food and gifts. Just left there and Im already missing it. The food was real German cuisine. Staff was sooo friendly and excellent. I miss Germany so much and it was as if I went back if only for an hour. Dont miss out on a chance to visit these beautiful people and experience authentic German food and gifts. Its reasonably priced and the sweet treats they have are made by the people there using real German chocolate and fruits. I cannot say enough, you must experience this yourself first hand.

Just wanted to thank the wonderful folks working at this eatery. Wife and I had a awesome schnitzel dinner here today Brought back memories of when we were stationed in Germany many years ago. The deserts were incredible as well. Will definitely be back many times to come. Very reason prices and neither of us was able to eat all of our meals . Great left overs for tomorrow. We LOVE coming here! We come for the Schnitzel on Wednesday’s or Friday’s and it is always so good! And the owners are the absolute sweetest! We have always been treated so kindly and always find the best little treats from the gift shop! Definitely a nice place to have a good lunch and pastry!
Simply amazing. I went in there expecting decent German food, and what I found was far more than I expected. We went on one of the schnitzel days and that meal was pure comfort on a plate.The people running the place are kind, warm and inviting. They will readily answer any questions and treat you like old friends.The gift shop made my wallet cry, but that was only because I simply could not stop tossing stuff into my basket to take home with me.I will certainly go again when I return to the area!

My husband and I not only shopped, but we also enjoyed an very good German drink, In side the CAFE. My husband and I will most definitely make this an once a week luch date!
Delicious authentic German food with great hospitality. The French fries were so delicious, seasoned, and light while also crunchy, absolutely mouth-watering. The currywurst was decadent with the rich sauce being a perfect accompaniment to the spätzle (German egg noodles). If I wasn’t so full I would’ve purchased a dessert. Definitely will be coming back for lunch!
My wife and I was very excited about finding this German heritage business located in Phenix City Alabama. This is a very authentic gift, grocery store with a little German guesthouse all in one. The owner and his family are very friendly and helpful! The food is good old German food range from wurst plate, schnitzel, Weiss wurst, red cabbage, sauerkraut, cakes,candies, pastries, krapfen, beers, and lots of other German items. This place is very clean and neat!

Ive been looking for an authentic German store here in Columbus for a while and love this shop. The staff are super friendly and I had fun conversing with them. I found quite a few items I had been craving and DEFINITELY make sure you go to the cafe section to get some fresh sliced meats and Brats.

The dine area to order German food. You can buy German lunch meat, different kind of brautwurst, cakes and other sweets!! Prices are reasonable! I ordered online and have experienced an outstanding customer service. The items were carefully wrapped and packed in a way I havent seen from any other store. Unfortunately there was one item damaged because the package got damaged on the way. I contacted the store and they replaced my item with no problems. And any questions I had so far got answered immediately. Highly recommended. I wished I would live closer by to go and actually visit the store.
Found German treats and small gifts. Plus, I had wonderful goulash for lunch. Remember that this city is on Eastern time even though the rest of Alabama is Central.

What a wonderful experience!! From the food, to the store..... and talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They were not just friendly and helpful, but they went out if their way and gave us cooler boxes for the meat and bread we got, so it wouldnt spoil on the 2 hour drive home!!! And, oh yeah, they didnt rush us out of the door when I felt like a kid in a candy store and enjoyed browsing and reminiscing!!! We will definitely be back. It is well worth the drive!! Thank you, Heika and staff, for bringing a little bit of Germany to us! You made my day.... and this trip a fabulous experience and a treasured memory! We will see you again for sure!!!

It was a very cute store. Great if you are looking for cute German gifts for family. Lots of Oma and Opa items like shirts and coffee mugs. Candy selection is small. If you like German lunch meat this is the place.

If you ever lived or visited Germany and missed it, this is the place to go. They seem to have more goods every time I go back, and they never disappoint! They get new shipments of bread every Thursday, so the Brötchen is always fresh.

We went to German Food, Gifts and More to buy stocking stuff and were not disappointed. They have the best selection of German candy, cookies, and Haribo items other than just your normal gummy bears and coke bottles. I saw a thing from my childhood (my dad was stationed in Germany), mustard in a glass mug. Brought back great memories. They also have a deli and sandwich shop. We are going back there for lunch! They serve homemade brochen, brats, potato soup, and Black Forest cherry cake. While we were there Santa Claus showed up with a photographer to take pictures of children in the shop and the owner was walking around with a plate of cookies. All in all it was amazing.
