If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I made an appointment and thought I arrived on time, I was made to wait, with my braider opting ultimately not to do my hair because a regular came in.I should have left at that point because the woman who did my hair belongs in jail. What she did to me was criminal. By the evening of the day I got my hair done, it was already a mess with my roots coming undone. I reached out to Sophie, and she asked me to come back.Usually, I would have demanded my money, but as a black woman using the services of other black women, I decided to give them a chance to fix it. AGAIN, she ruined my hair.Listen, you can buy whatever products you want from this place, but do not let them do your hair.

They complained about me paying 140 for twists for only the top of my head and wanted me to pay more... but each time i came my hair was always unevenly done... they need to worry more about doing the hair right then trying to up the cost at the last min..

Came in store to schedule 2 hair appointments and shop. The owner was more concerned about us purchasing a mask that was not even FDA approved before being in her store.Your loss. Went to Wigs and Beauty, mask free GREAT service!

Purchased the wrong shampoo & conditioner called back less than 30 minutes later to advise & was told basically that i am stuck with it due to once you leave their store you can not return or exchange!!🤬 😡 in which i was never told that in the store nor is it posted in the store!!! $25 down the drain! Will NEVER patronize ever again!!

Love this place & Ms. Sophie. The products can be on the more expensive side but the options are endless. This us one of the only places in central texas that caters to the needs of afro hair! As an added bonus you can buy clothing & accessories made in and imported from Africa which is beautiful for those who want to invest African.I generally get my hair products & some small makeup items from here. You can see two dresses that I purchased in the pics attached. I bought the hair for my twists from ABB also!

The lady was really helpful and stayed late to help us shop.

If you can’t do the styles that our asked please just say that.This was very disappointing and don’t give me a bad hairstyle that is not what I want.Please do better.

We depend on these times that they put on here. Some of us drive a hour or so just to come buy some hair . For them to say 8:30 and it’s 9, I’m highly surprised ! And I called 3 times with no answer so therefore I took my money to another business. And this is actually the 2nd time I came to this specific spot and they weren’t open at 8:30 . But wigs and beauty up the street was open and they took care of me .

They were a bit pricey, but well worth it. I have gotten my hair braided for years, in a lot of cities and these box braids rank with the best. They were also quite friendly.

They have a decent selection of beauty supplies and African clothing from prior visits but today I found out their hours are not correct. It stinks to drive to a specific place because of their availability or store hours and then find out that they are not operating according to what they have listed. There were four cars with people parked waiting! Unacceptable

Highly...really overpriced and the service is lacking. Crotchet for $130 without hair really? Week 2 braids falling off and not neat looking at all. Worst hair experience I ever had. Please do not go here for hair. Great outfits at the shop though. The price on the outfits could be better. They seem to have a pleasant welcome to the store but they are just greedy. Never again!

I really wanted to love my experience here hoping this would be my one stop shop for all of my beauty care products and hair needs. Unfortunately, my experience wasnt so great.Sophie (head lady in charge) was really friendly and the overall appearance of her shop ans store is nice. I arrived today for box braids. She had given me a quote of $180 for the size and length that I wanted over the phone and then verified that once I arrived. I arrived to 3 women ready to braid my hair, so for the ones who dread hours of having to sit to get their hair done, this was a great feeling to know I would be in and out. Sophie started my hair and her daughter would finish the ends which I have to say her daughter is super sweet and has really light hands. The other lady not so much. Ive been all over the world getting my hair braided and Ive NEVER been in as much pain as I was with her. She was just rough. Every time she touched my head she would literally pull and push my head and hair really hard. My neck is still sore! Another customer came in so Sophie and her daughter left me with her. This was the most agonizing experience Ive ever had. I do admit that I am natural and couldve detangled my hair a lot more but we all know you dont start at the roots and yank down. I left so much of my natural hair that at that shop. When I was finished and ready to pay I handed her my $10 off coupon from their website but Sophie informed me that my hair was already discounted. Why have a coupon to print if so? I was going to hand her an even $200 with the coupon making it a $30 tip but after not accepting it, I handed her my $180. Its obvious so it could be split evenly amongst the 3.My hair does look nice but wouldve been better had Sophie been doing my hair and noticed that the ombre from my natural hair wasnt blending well with just one color of braiding hair.I dont think I will be back in which Im very sad to say.

Worst experience EVER!! I bought a bundle that was over priced and the quality was terrible. I also had them install a sew in. Worst ever also, I will stick to sewing in my own hair. I do sew in year around for years straight and never experienced this bad of a job from a professional. I was sad when they finished and I crying now, cutting my cut out because they put the thread everywhere in knots. 0 stars, dont go!! Over priced and bad quality

2nd experience and its about like the first. 6 weeks later and I have lost several braids. NoI dont pull my hair back or piut alot if stress on them. I actually started losing them a few days after the install. I wont be back.

I went to this salon to get Spring Twist text Sophie an picture to if they can do that style was told they could and her daughter was going to do my hair but instead Sophie the mother started to do it was a very sloppy job my twist were uneven and loose I will never go back there again....
