Had an 11 oclock appointment for tire rotation. Got an alert that my car was ready. Asked them about it they had no idea. Let 20 minutes or so pass asked again so we went to look at my car and they said they serviced it. Get in to leave and my tire pressure low light is still on. They didnt even rotate my tires.
Definitely 5 stars service! Guys did an excellent job on fixing my tire. I had a Little Rock that damaged my tire and they repaired so fast and gave amazing price for that! Will definitely come back if need some. Thank you!
I had a screw in my tire and they got me in right away and I was on a time crunch. The service is phenomenal! I’ve never had such great service. Josue and Junior helped me out and I greatly appreciate it! And patching my tire was no charge which was great! I’m definitely coming here from now on for all of my tire needs. The prices for their other services were reasonable as well. Can’t say enough wonderful things about them!
Fast service, even on a very busy Monday morning. They honored a tire warranty that is six years old. Service reps are atraightforward and dont give you the run around. Man I wish theyd do oil changes but I will still go no where else for new tires.
I needed to have 2 low tires checked when the sensor light wouldnt go off, even after they filled the tires. 3 nails repaired and 2 replaced broken sensors later, I was out before the quoted finish time Dustin gave me!!! And made sure all the tires had new stem caps! Great service Guys!! Thank again!

I have been a customer of this store for approximately 6 years. Today an incident occurred with one of Discount Tires employees and myself. This incident consisted of an employee talking to me in a derogatory manner, which I felt was not professional what so ever. I reported this incident to the on duty manager Mr. Robert. I strongly believe long lasting relationships starts with great customer service. Today I experienced that with Mr. Robert. He was professional and considerate of my complaint. He took immediate action which most companies dont do. Mr. Robert thank you.
Best customer service I have received in a long time! My valve stem had a leak, so I took it off the car and brought it in for warranty( bought from another DT store). They were pretty busy, but I was in and out in no time. They ended up considering the tire not repairable, and gave me a new one. They definitely earned a customer this morning.

Broke a lug (not their fault) another shop cross threaded. But then sent me to a competitor to fix it, there we discovered theyd forgotten to put another lug back on. Staff was nice but the overall experience left a bit to be desired.
Pleased with the service provided. I was the second person there waiting for them to open. A worker came out and told everyone to wait in their cars and they will be getting to everyone in the order that their cars pulled into the parking lot. That’s exactly how they did it! Very Impressed with this Discount Tire! Once my car was in there, I was on my way within 15-20 minutes
I dont typically leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share part of my experience. I had the pleasure with doing business with Carlos. He originally took my call to cancel an order of 4 tires I decided i no longer needed. I came to my appointment and checked in with a different representative that I had to bring up to date. my previous 4 were bought from this same organization and I had asked that different rep about prorating the previous set (3 were still good, one was badly worn). That rep didnt bat an eye at it but when I brought it up with Carlos he took care of my concern. This location needs to praise Carlos as he is a perfect example of customer service. Carlos, if you are reading this, Thank you and you are the man!

These guys are a great tire and wheel shop. Ive had some terrible luck with various places around the 130 corridor and these guys are always the fastest and doing the best work. Even when a problem happens they deal with it and have faster service than the rest.They also have road force balancers which help get cars that arent quite perfect going again. Carlos is the manager and is a good guy. Just be prepared for them to be busy on certain days, calling ahead helps.
The nice and friendly staff at Discount Tire continue to impress me. Today I went in for a tire stem issue. Carlos quickly diagnosed it and got me on my way in under an hour, even though they were so busy there was a line out the door. Their speed and devotion to making their customers happy has earned my business for a lifetime.
Had service done on 7/30/2021. I came in as a walk in for just 1 tire and Damien helped me and checked all my tires and explained to me about the life of it, very helpful. I came back an hour later to get my tire done and then just went ahead and got a quote for the 3 tires I needed done and agreed to that price before service. (I did take a picture of the quoted price and the breakdown for it.) After service a different guy checked me out and charged me more for the tires than what was originally agreed upon. It was about an extra $21 more than the price I was told at the beginning.

The attention to detail and concern for customer safety has always been impressive to me from the Pflugerville staff.I arrived before opening today and of course got in line. Unbeknownst to everyone standing outside the building, the staff had been logging the vehicles as they arrived. We were informed we could wait in our vehicles for a service rep if we wished.Promptly at 8:00 (advertised open) an army of service reps and technicians poured out of the building and began addressing the customer needs in the order they had arrived.In and out in less than an hour.A well oiled machine.
I buy all my tires here and get the lifetime tire rotation and insurance certificates (I once thought they were a gimmick until I had a bolt sticking out of my sidewall - have a picture somewhere). PROS and CONS:PROS:Good prices and will price match. $15.00 per tire for lifetime balancing (dont have to buy tire there but would recommend purchasing tires here).Insurance certificates can be used at any Discount Tire in the USA, which is great if you travel as much as I do.Do a good job and are very professional.Accurate in their estimates on how long the service will take.CONS:Waits in the morning and evenings are long. My wait was estimated at about an hour and a half and Im already at 1:20 but my car is in the bay.Once a certificate is used you have to buy a new one. It only covers that specific tire but still worth it in my opinion.Id give them 5 stars but the wait time takes away the remaining star.I will continue to give them my business and use their products/services.
I was 1st in line waiting at the counter. Male service tech came behind me and helped the white lady behind me first. I am melaninated. Then acknowledged me secondly. I came to get air checked on my tires. At the air service...young service tech asked me how much tire pressure did I need? Of course I didnt know so he educated me and took the time to explain that my 2 front tires were over inflated; they were at 44 when they should have been at 33. Showed me on car door panel where I can find the air pressure for my tire. I thought that label gave you the size of your tire. My tire size was PS??33. He told me he was going to deflate all my tires to 33 air pressure level. First impression is last impression.
Had a terrible experience at this place. Assistant Manager Alfonso treated me like garbage the first time I came in. I had to wait an hour for manager help the second time I came.The manager called me after a bad review, saying he would make the experience better but NO ONE HAS ANSWERED MY CALL IN WEEKS.I want new tires, they didnt have the ones I originally paid for so I settled for these and they suck but Discount Tire WILL NOT HELP ME!!!

If I could give a million stars I would!!! Today I got a flat tire and this was the closest place to where I was at. I was hoping it would have just been a nail or screw lodged into my tire, but instead was a huge hole on my sidewall. Boooo! However, James and Alex went above and beyond for me!! I was in the store having a mental breakdown because I just could not afford to pay for a new tire. They were so patient and understanding and ended up working on pricing with me. This location is not near me, however I will forever be going here for all of my future tire needs. No matter how far of a drive it is!! Thank you some much guys for your amazing customer service! I showed up to the store 20 minutes before closing with air gushing out of my tire because of a bad valve stem and they took care of me without hesitation and not like I just showed up right before they were about to go home. I live in Buda, but these guys are great - I will travel all the way to this store from now. Awesome store! They got me right back on the road so I could keep selling houses!

Honestly, this location is typically very busy and I dread going because I know I’ll be there for hours for a job that takes a few minutes. I’ve stood in the lobby for an hour before anyone even acknowledged me at one point. But, I must admit this last trip there was excellent. Quick service, very helpful, and great price. Doesn’t quite make up for the past, but certainly headed in the right direction.

Best place to buy quality tires at an affordable price. Always fast and friendly service except for one skinny kid with safety glasses that stood out who was loud, rude and seemed like a smart alec. He ran around like he was on speed or something. You may want to consider getting the road hazard warranty it could save you a fortune!
Most of their staff is very friendly and today I had an especially great experience buying two new tires with Carlo. He made the experience nice and easy, no haggling or hassling over which tires to buy. My family and I come here for all our tires and discount tire never disappoints!
We as a company are big on customer satisfaction and customer service! We took 2 fleet trucks for wheel alignments at this location and our experience was horrible! After the 4th attempt and speaking with management several times and explaining management how out steering wheel was not dead center and them trying to say they where we gave up! As a business no customer should come back once or twice but fourth times? Geez! For a service that should have been done right the first time! Well our issue was never fix! If this is a franchise or a corporation we really hope your CEO or CFO reads this review. This store needs to be inspected and upper management really needs to start cleaning house at this location and hire management and hire techs that really know what they are doing! We are not sure who is behind your wheel alignments here but whoever it is he or she needs retraining or hire techs that can get the job done right the first time! Customers times are valuable! No customer should be coming back to get something done that should have been done right the first time! Our issue was never fix at this location so we gave up!!
We came out this morning into our driveway to find our van had a flat, with no spare. They let us borrow a jack and some tools so that we could take off the flat and bring it in to get it fixed. They went above and beyond any reasonable level of service to help us out. I dont think I will ever get tires from anywhere else after this experience
Took my car in because rear tire was leaking, gentleman at the location insisted that if they check the car out I will have to buy new front tires because the tread is low. Told me to take the flat tire off myself and bring it if I wanted to get it fixed. I left and went to a different discount tire with an unsafe, leaking tire, they had no problem with taking a look and even honoring the warranty on the tire and replacing it.
Traveling from Illinois and got a flat, they got us back on the road quickly! friendly staff, highly recommend!
Carlos was amazing!!! I ordered special edition Vogues and he searched and finally found them from two different states!! He made it his mission to make it happen. They were quick with the service and so friendly!! Go to Pflugerville on 685 and ask for Carlos!

Discount tire is always busy no mater which location you go too. I have to say even as busy as they were they did replace my flat tire for a net new tire. I did have to purchase the lifetime warranty to cover the new tire but well worth it when they can still get to you.

Carlos was over and beyond helpful with my visit this morning! Had to get two tires because mine were on the way to bald, Carlos made sure I understood what all the charges were for and even put me onto a rebate I had no idea existed. Assuming the rest of the staff are cut from the same cloth as Carlos this is definitely my store now.

If you have the time to wait on the property, then this is the place for you. I went here for a tire repair and was told that it would be a 2 hour wait, and that I could wait in the vehicle, or in the store. I left to run an errand, and on my way back an hour later, they called and asked where I was. Since I wasnt on the property when they were ready for me, they would skip my vehicle. I returned to the property 5 minutes later, and nobody in the front would talk to me for 15 minutes, so I left. Im not sure if I went back to the line to start over or if they would have taken my vehicle next (after somebody talked to me to get my keys). If you are a good little customer with nowhere else to go and stay on the property, then this is the place for you. However, you will definitely be working around their schedule to get a discount tire.
I typically love Discount tire and this location, and they have won my business for the past 20+ years, but I’ve been there 4 times over the past 2 weeks for an air pressure check only to wait 10-15 minutes, and either the line did not move at all(twice), and the other 2 times, I was the only vehicle and no one ever acknowledged my being there. I understand this is a complimentary service, but it’s also part of the reason I buy from Discount Tire. The reason I am leaving this review is after waiting twice as the only vehicle, I drove forward and noticed several workers standing in the back of one of the bays DOING NOTHING! They were not helping other customers or doing any work at all; only entertaining each other rather than assisting their customers or helping their co-workers (there were other staff actually very busy working). I’m extremely patient and understanding, but this is unacceptable. Maybe you all no longer want or need my business, so I’m happy to take my family’s business somewhere else. I’m a very loyal customer, but my loyalty needs to be reciprocated by providing the service that originally earned my business.

They will mess up ALL your threaded studs because they HURRY too fast. They mess the lugs up then hand you some new studs then tell you go to Austin Automotive in Round rock to get the studs changed on your time. This is the second time this happen to 3 studs absolutely rediculas. If you have all the time and the world to fix there mess ups or dont really care about your tire studs then by all means let them jack yours up.
Kudos to the discount tire team, we got tho discount at 5:58 PM, my nephew had already missed his basketball practice because of a flat tire, they did not bat an eye and they were about to patch the tore within 30 minutes even though our advisor Carlos had been at the store since 5am. This location has become such a mess and I would not recommend it anymore.When I first visited this Discount Tire location around February 2020 I was extremely impressed - everything was super fast and super efficient. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I was so impressed that I even got my new tires from this location. In April, I had an appointment scheduled but had to wait for ~40 minutes. However, it wasnt an issue for me because all the employees were crazy busy, literally running around, and clearly doing their best.Today, I had an appointment scheduled for 1:15 PM. The QR code self check in did not work. Because of this, I was forced to step inside (which I was hoping to avoid due to COVID). Then I was told to wait in my car. A gentleman walked outside, checked me in, and told me that they were not busy at all, and that the wait time would be short. About 50-55 minutes later Im still sitting in the car, the parking lot is almost empty, the bays are mostly empty... And theres no sign of service. I had to walk in and remind them that I had an appointment. Because they had forgotten. Even though I had been sitting in the car with the engine running, for almost an hour, right in front of their store window. Needless to say, it was one stressful lunch break. Getting a tire repair should not be a stressful, time-consuming adventure. It should be something that can be done during a lunch break if you make an appointment beforehand, which I did.Also, if COVID precautions are important to you, do not visit this location. I talked to two employees and they were both wearing their masks under their nose. They also do not ask you to drive your car into the bay, even though this is whats advertised on the website. Friendly employees, but messy and time-consuming.

This week has been my first interaction with a Discount Tire retail location and I have been disappointed with the situation/service. I called in to this location Tuesday morning, April 6th at 11:14am and spoke with Robert inquiring about a set of tires for my personal truck that I had found online through the website. The set was a high demand tire and was starting to get back ordered through my normal tire distribution channels. Discount showed it available in 1-5 business days online. I confirmed with Robert the pricing and availability. He asked if I would like to order the set and I agreed, he told me he was placing the order and that the tires should arrive by Friday, but if they came in sooner he would give me a call and let me know. I verified on the phone with him that I could get them mounted and balanced same day on Friday once they arrived, he told me yes, wouldn’t be a problem. He did not ask me to pre-pay for the tires and I didn’t ask, assuming this was how Discount handled tire ordering.Thursday afternoon I hadn’t received a call back and figured I would check on the status of the set and confirm my appointment for the next day since I hadn’t been given a set time yet. I called in to this location at 3:35pm, regretfully I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who picked up the phone. I let him know why I was calling and gave him my phone number and he said he wasn’t able to pull anything up on it. After a few seconds he confirmed my name and he said he had found it. He verified one of the four tires had arrived and the other three showed to still be in transit but would be arriving the following morning, Friday. Sounded great, I asked him when I should schedule to come in for install to which he mentioned that he did not have any appointments available. I let him know that when I called and ordered the tires, Robert had assured me I would be able to bring the truck in and have them installed same day. This gentleman asked if I could bring the truck at 3:45pm on Friday, to which I agreed.I arrived this afternoon and was greeted in line. The gentleman helping me was I believe Javier, but I could be mis-remembering. He asked for my phone number and I gave it to him. Again, like the day before, I was told he didn’t show anything under that phone number but after a few seconds pulled up my name and vehicle information. I confirmed that, and he showed me the appointment list on the computer which did not show my name listed for an appointment. I explained to him the above and confirmed which tires I was coming in for. He said nothing in the computer showed that they had been ordered, that I had an appointment scheduled today, or that the tires showed to be there. He offered to go check the warehouse and was able to find one of the tires, I assume the one that my second phone call had shown to have already arrived, but the other three were not there.The next 30 min or so was a mashup of him re-checking the warehouse and contacting other locations to see if he could get the remaining three tires there within the next few days. I really appreciated him working hard to try and resolve the situation he had no part in creating.Ultimately he was unsuccessful but was trying to find out more information from the other employees who weren’t there, who I may have spoken to previously. He hadn’t gotten anything solid back from them and I left with the promise he would call me back if he figured anything out.I really hope there is follow up from someone at this location to see if the situation can be resolved. I took off time from work to be there today and left sorely disappointed, out my time and the hassle of something that should have been very straight forward. Having worked as a service advisor in an Austin-area dealership for sometime, a situation such as this in our service department would be completely unacceptable.

I went in on a Monday morning to replace a flat tire. They were crowded but well staffed. My service guy was very professional. Or conversation started with him inquiring about our safety after the tire incident. Nice touch. They moved us through very quickly. Even though I expected to be there most of the morning, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes.

I have used Discount tire for years and purchased all new tired from them about 2 years ago. I dutifully follow their tire rotation schedule to make sure my warranty is honored and I know everytime, even though I have a scheduled appointment, it will take at least an hour of my time. They are always slammed with people and I get it. I allow extra time and just get it over with. But the last two times I have been in they have broken FOUR of my studs. When that happens you have to schedule another appointment at another shop to get them fixed. So now my simple tire rotation is taking several hours of my work day. The first time this happened I didnt complain, i just got it fixed and had to take additional time off of work. The very next rotation they break 3 studs on my front left tire but only told me about 2 so when I schedule the appt to get them fixed the repair guy says well they only paid and gave us the parts for 2 and you need 3 repaired. So now I have to go back for a THIRD appointment to fix a THIRD stud break on the same tire. This seems excessive and seems to me the employees at Discount Tire are rushed and not paying attention to what they are doing and cross threading the studs. When I asked the person at Discount Tire why this keeps happening he said its no ones fault, this sometimes happens when the tire is removed and put back on so many times. Well my car is garage kept and well maintained and I am following the protocol set up by Discount Tire so I see no logical reason other than employee error for why this keeps happening. It makes me not want to ever come in again for a tire rotation bc the last 2 times have been such a hassle. I now have to take MORE time off of work to go back to fix something that shouldnt have happened in the first place. Maybe if they had less appointments in a day they wouldnt feel so rushed and Discount Tire wouldnt have so many reviews complaining about wait time. I love to write good reviews for companies I use regularly but never could with Discount Tire bc of the wait time and now have a sour experience. The employees are nice enough but I much prefer efficiency over niceties.
