First time in and my wife and I enjoyed our experience very much! The food was excellent and theyve got so much more than malts. Candies, fudge, and Blue Bell ice cream. The employee working there was friendly and attentive. Well be back!

Delicious ice cream! My friends and I stopped by just after they closed, not knowing their hours. The staff saw us and let us in. We all got ice cream cones, no complaints!

It was pretty good. The people are very nice and pleasent. The cones are not homemade if they were it would be amazing.

Boppers is the place to be! I was very impressed with the food and even more impressed with how kind and professional the owner was! He took amazing care of us and our food was done quick! The music and decorations make for a great time! Highly recommend!

Love the Bourbon filled chocolates. Milk shake was great but couldnt eat the hot dog. Not sure what kind of meat.

Real milk shakes and I enjoy the hot dogs with the original toppings depending on your city of choice. If you dont know what I mean then you have to stop by.

Me and my husband love to stop through here every time were in the area. We always get a Black Cow milkshake and this time we grabbed a hotdog. OMG delicious. Customer service is always wonderful and definitely a pleasure!

First visit and will never return the girl working was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Acted like I was bothering her to get ice cream. So I ordered a cone which was fine never seen a place not at least make sure the cone was full when the say one scoop the mean one scoop not only that it just look terrible like I scooped the ice cream at home. That didn’t cost too much so I’m not too mad about that but I got the carnival ride milkshake which is 10 dollars and man it was just so sloppily made also didn’t come made like it was supposed to be and just looked like garbage for 10 dollars. Plus when it was handed to me it was leaking ice cream coming down the side wasn’t offered napkins or told where they were regardless McDonald’s even wipes off the excess ice cream on side of shake. Service like this is why places like this go out of business during a pandemic I love to eat out and support but you definitely have to do better

What an awesome place! The worker there was very friendly and kind! Our food was done in no time and all three of us enjoyed it so much! Will definitely be going back for more delicious food!

The ice cream was good, and the service was really nice.

We had to ask multiple times what we wanted. Kept getting us a cone after us repeatedly asking for a cup. Super rude towards us. Get it together, we paid 15 dollars for two scoops of ice cream, on top of horrible service. Only thing I liked was the ice cream itself. Wait time was horrible too. Love this store but this trip was bad.

Boppers provided 160 meals to the Hope Center for those less fortunate. All that received a lunch were surprised and happy. They have great food and would highly recommend them, especially those who like fresh burgers.

Came into the establishment 30 minutes before they closed to constantly hear the one girl working there complaining about how she closes in 30 minutes instead of just taking care of the customer sign states you close at 7 dont complain to a paying customer the entire interaction that you couldnt pre close the store. Ordered banana split I guess she was still mad she had to do her job she shoved my split into a bag and gave it to me. Got to car to finally try my now liquid surprise of melting ice cream to find she didnt even give me a banana in my split. Horrible service normal blue bell ice cream nothing special

Weve been here few times and loved shakes.But went to there about 2 weeks ago with our family members who was visiting us.My sister in-law saw girl works there didnt wash hands(even sanitizer) after did change to customer.

Absolutely delicious, me & my mom went there. Ive been there many times before & they never disappoint. Vanilla ice cream, sweet & savory that matches perfectly with the delicate waffle cone. Hot dogs, meaty & ready to eat. Sodas made delicious & homemade, chips so plain but oh so savory. My favorite ice cream shop, if you want to hang out with your friends & grab a quick lunch/snack. Come on over here in Downtown Petersburg & grab yourself that special with the hot dog, soda, & chips.

Finally got my banana split! Been craving one for weeks. Price was right about $6.00. Container was overflowing! Delicious. Even ended up buying a bunch of peanut,cashew and pecan clusters. Chocoholics dream shop.

It took 30 minutes to get 2 foot long hot dogs 2 bags of chips 2 bottles of water an 2 pieces of fudge. The girls behind the counter had to ask us 3 or 4 times what we wanted on our dogs. We ended up paying almost $28.00 for this and definitely was not worth the money or time

Nice place in Old Town Petersburg. You do have to bend over to open the door. If you visit, youll understand.

My grand daughter and I love our weekly visit to Boppers, sometimes for Ice-cream and others for a milkshake.Its the best.

My wife got a banana split that was so large she threw some of it away. I got a cup of ice cream. I could not finish all of that. We will be going back.

Awesome little ice cream/candy shop with a 50s theme, extremely friendly and polite servers and a fun atmosphere. The waffle cone was amazing. Large portions and decent selection of little candies and fudge as well. Only been open about a month and a half but if you enjoy ice cream shops, definitely try this one out. You wont be disappointed!

Mediocre at best. Limited selection, freezer burnt ice cream and crusty servers, i.e. not wearing gloves when they scoop your ice cream and you can see them getting ice cream on their arms when they scoop, not washing hands between cashing out customers and scooping your ice cream. Ive been here a handful of times and its always the same, I dont see it getting any better.

I had to stop in and get a malted shake. I went with the peanut butter malt. It was very good and the server was polite and had a smile on. They even dress in period style. But oh my, fix the doorknob somehow!!

Homemade Root Beer is better than many off the shelf root beers. Grape is home made too. Footlong Chili Dog, the “Hound Dog” has homemade chili, great flavor and heavy on meat! FYI - Choc-Malt and Choc-Shake are both good, Shake has more Choc flavor b/c of how it is made. Both are good. Service was great too. Look low for the door knob to get in LoL.

Worst hot dog I have ever eaten, the chili was warm, dog was room temp and bun was stale, for $4.50???Root beer was good, but since cup for completely full of ice, there wasnt much to wash down the wonderful hot dog, $3.50 for a cup of ice with a splash of root beer.Understaffed, so the wait was horribleDont forget about the wonderful city of Petersburg food tax 13%

Ok let me say the place is great!! Staff was awesome. Food was very good. Philly steak recipe unlike anything I have ever had. You got to try the philly steak. With all this said now the bad.....ice cream sundae great but frustrating to eat. Should not serve in paper bowl and paper sheet it just slides all over the place making a mess. Great meal ended in frustration. Spoon bent everytime we tried to get any out also. Gggggrrrrrrrrr. Easy fixes though for a great shop.
