Nicely organized Ulta Beauty store. There are makeup consultants on hand to help out. The store carries cosmetics and skincare brands, mens and womens fragrances, nail products, bath and body products, beauty tools and haircare products. Basically tons of beauty stuff! (Its inside the Target complex right off the East Washington St. freeway exit). Theres also a random Tesla charging station in the parking lot.

The management here is awful. My mom and I came in two days ago to shop, and we were harassed by a female manager with dark brown hair. Both of us have a health condition preventing us from wearing a mask, and she just could not accept that and kept insisting we put one on because it is their policy. Im sorry, but the health of your customers should come first. Some people medically cannot wear them. We are vaccinated and keep our distance from people and mind our business. Today we came in again and the first thing she said to us was do you two want some masks? I said to her that we had just been in a couple days before and told her already that we could not wear them due to health issues. Instead of dropping it, she proceeded to catch an attitude and say I know, but its our policy here. So she knew we had health issues and still chose to harass us about masks? Isnt that considered to be discrimination? As if that wasnt enough, she continued to push the issue and told us that we could always shop online. How rude can you be. My mom has been coming here for years and everyone has always been nice to us until now. She said she will no longer be coming to this store due to how weve been treated. They should really hire some better, more friendly managers that dont discriminate against people because of their health issues. Shameful.

I always find what Im looking for in here. I love their Bare Mineral make-up selections which is my faves. They also have a lot of choices for hair,nails,face,perfumes etc,etc. Their staff are friendly and accommodating.

Easy parking and big selection of womens and mens care products here. If you give up your email they send a $10 off coupon about every month or two and if you join their rewards club Im sure you get more. I have found that every time I go, staff on the floor asks me if I need help, but not always helpful when you get to the cash register. In their defense it seems theyre always training someone new at the register. Also, by the time I get to the registers I can no longer see because of my watery eye allergies. This is probably a very scary sight for a young trainee! The perfumes are very strong inside there, so allergies suffers beware! They do ship and have an robust online presence. I recommend that if you are W/C or Walker user. Not required, just easier.

MARINA is a wonderfully talented and caring colorist! She really takes the time to clarify your hair goals and explain her process; manages expectations, and is attentive throughout the service. She also educates her clients about hair health and is upfront with pricing. MARINA is an absolute pro, and definitely worth the wait!MARINA is very thoughtful about my situation and listened to what I wanted, and blended what I requested. Cut and color came out just the way I hoped for. A fresh new look . To me a great cut is when you get out of bed in the morning and your hair looks great before a brush even goes through it, and keep it long.You can tell from the moment you meet with MARINA that she is serious about pleasing the client and getting the best results possible. I’ve received tons of compliments from friends/family asking to book with her. I never want to have to switch colorists again!

Im not what one could call a Make-up shopaholic, but when Im looking for cosmetics, shampoo and hair accessories as well as perfume Ulta has always been my first, best choice for finding what I need. They have a great selection of all products, be it minimally to priced the higher end choices. Very nice and helpful staff.

Tonight I showed up and marina worked her magic on a prior salon service (done by someone else) that was far from par. I spent the last 24 hours upset, home and not even wanting to look in the mirror with what color hair I had been walking around with. She is clearly educated in what she does, she’s funny, she’s easy to talk too and she had me leaving the salon looking like my hair wasn’t the train wreck I walked in with. I love it! 10/10 recommend her and was also impressed the manager took time to talk to me after hearing my story. I’m beyond happy with my service!

I recently went into Ulta to get help finding a few new products and was lucky to receive assistance from a sales associate, Laura. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and helped me find what I needed. She also ensured that I selected the right tones for my skin color. I left with exactly what i wanted and looking forward to my next visit.

The salon and makeup service was great! My friend and I were able to set up an appointment for the next day and were given lots of advice on what to get and what to expect. Lori did a fantastic job as my hair stylist! I dont remember the ladys name that did our makeup but she was just as great and was very easygoing. I have very sensitive skin and she was happy to use my own foundation and worked with me to create a look that made me feel gorgeous.

A wonderful experience… Not really experienced with using make up..the consultants were extremely helpful in guiding me. I lost my eyebrows due to chemo and they showed me how to use products to look good again ! Sammy is the best!!

I would give zero stars if I could! I had the worst experience here today. I was trying to buy a few essentials. One being the foundation I have used for years. No one was around to ask if they had it in stock so I walked back to the salon area to ask the lady there for help. She wears glasses and was wearing a big pink fuzzy sweater and pink hair. She checked for me and said sorry were out its the holidays just go online I asked about getting it store to door, she said it doesnt work here (I had to start coming up with a way to remedy the situation as I also had a coupon I wanted to use, which she literally had an I could care less attitude) She told me to just get an entirely different product....just literally made me feel awful that I wasted an hour in the store picking out all these items. Im clearly not a valued customer there regardless how much money I have spent there. Needless to say I put all $200 worth of merchandise I was about to purchase back, and will be buying it elsewhere after that encounter. To top it off, after wasting all that time, she didnt even offer a sample to tie me over if I even were to order online. Worst most unfriendly service I have ever experienced at any Ulta ever. Ulta, please at the least stop hiring mean and rude sales people. I have had good service there before but this lady in particular was just completely rude.

The hair stylist manager was extremely rude. She talked down to me and made me feel very uncomfortable. After making agist remarks towards me, I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere. I don’t recommend getting your hair done here unless you want to leave ashamed, angry, and with crunchy hair. As for Ulta, you have some problematic workers that need to be dealt with.

Fun place to browse if you like cosmetics. Has just about everything. Lots of testers which is nice. Range of price points. I gave it four stars because some of the items are kind of pricy, so try to find coupons or go when theyre having a sale.

Pretty much the only place in town where I can get cologne. Sure, there are other places but this has the best selection. They also have lots of makeup and perfume for the ladies

Customer service is the worst here. I was standing in line and was told I was at the wrong side so they took someone else who came after me. I had been standing there for some time because they had only one cashier but there was multiple employees standing around the store doing nothing. When I kindly suggested they put a sign or something to tell that’s where the line begins, the rude employee said “everyone knows that’s where the line starts”. Mind you this was the first time I ever came to this store. But after this, it will be the last time.

The mac girl seemed more concerned with doing her own makup than helping customers. But other than that the store seemed clean and organized, well stocked with plenty of choices.

The people that works here are always so nice including the manager. I like Ulta and i think the fact that theu carry drug store beauty products is a plus compare to Sephora.

Worst customer service I have experienced with an online business. Ulta shipped me someone else’s order. When I called to ask them to arrange for it to be picked up and asked them to ship me the products I paid for, the customer service rep told me to go to the post office to return the products they mistakenly sent me and that they will not issue a refund or send the products I actually ordered and paid for until I go and return the products they mistakenly sent me. If I wanted to run another errand, I would have just gone to Ulta to begin with rather than order the products online. It took me almost 40 minutes to explain to them why this is unacceptable and arrange it so that USPS will pick up from my house the box they mistakenly sent me (hopefully, we’ll find out). I’m still waiting for them to send me a prepaid label since the return label that came with the wrong box said that all return shipping charges will be charged to the purchaser. I also won’t have my products in time for the weekend and will need to purchase elsewhere.

RUDE and incredibly POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The manager with blonde short hair is extremely unfriendly. I would not recommend using this location and am surpirised it is still open with how badly they treat customers.

The worst ulta I have ever been to. I went up the Lancôme area and there were two girls working, didn’t once ask me what I needed help with. Finally I asked if they had a color, the girl looked up from her cell phone and said “no” without looking and then proceeded to text. I went around Ulta and every single employee was on their phone, out in the open not helping anyone. One employee who transferred from Napa was SUPER helpful and amazing. Five stars to her but the rest were piss poor. I never leave reviews & I never “snitch” but honestly I will never come back here again. At least get your employees off their phones....

I called to make an appointment at the salon and I was not expecting the rudeness I was treated with. The worst posible costumer service ever, this girl named “Lexxi” was very rude to me saying I can not make an appointment they are only accepting walks in but I have done walks in the past they say I need to schedule a appointment, they don’t even know what to say. I’m a Platinum member at ULTA but I’m gonna take my pennies somewhere else from now on. What a disappointment.

I had booked a hair appointment for today at the Petaluma, CA Ulta Salon for 7pm. I just got a call from the stylist Lexxi that there was no way She would see me today. They have been turning people away and will be closing at 8:30. The store closes at 9pm but not only that I was unable to book another appointment any where else because she waited so long to cancel me. Lexi was quite rude however offered me an appointment in a week. I will not be returning to the Petaluma Salon or maybe that ULTA altogether. Im a Platinum member and spend A TON of money at ULTA. This kind of customer service is unacceptable.

The customer service is very bad. Why to ask me 10 times within 15 min if I already answerd I dont need help. When I finally asked a question since they wanted me to do so, they got annoyed. Horrible!! I will not shop there anymore.also they dont know what product they have.I asked if they have one brend of purfume they said they dont have it, after that I found it next to the register.

I am only giving one star because of the convenience of this location near my house. WORST COSTOMER SERVICE!!! When I go to a makeup store I get so excited and usually need help finding a product or even assistance to what products work best/the newest or the right color for me. Upon arriving at the store Ive had what looks like a group gossip circle of employees look over and me and then run away when I make eye contact and act suddenly too busy to help me. I literally walked around an isle for 20 min and stood there with not a single person asking if I need help. When I went up to the counter to ask for some help the checker looked at me like I was crazy! She called for someone to help and the woman who approached me couldnt express more how inconvenient I was to her... had little to no help to give to me. She quickly rushed away from me. I bought nothing. This type of behavior has happened to me around 4 times, like I said it was convenient. I tell everyone who askes me about my makeup or where to get that lip color to take the extra drive and NEVER GO TO ULTAPETALUMA...the sephora in Santa Rosa has everything you need and better staff who actually know something.

Lets just say it was one of my favorite stores until a couple weeks ago when my best friend and I walked in to buy a NYX product.I decided to walk around the corner to make a phone call to my husband and mind you I had only been in there 2 minutes prior and one of the store clerks rushes towards me accusing me of stealing a pallet !!!!!!!!Uuuuhm mam are you planning on buying that pallet that you just put in your purse ???her words exactly !😡😡😡anyway she ends up calling the manager because by this time am furious am being accused of Sth I didnt do.Then he manager comes by and says oh yea I saw you put a pallet in your shirt !!!!!!!it was the first time I ever had bullshit like this happen to me.long story short we storm out but came back because I asked to see the video and the manager comes and apologizes and gives me some stupid pathetic explanation as to what she thought she saw .She said since my phone was pink and I was at the corner she thought it looked like a pink pallet they have 😡😡😡😡now how are you going to confuse a pallet and a phone ????????also I was talking with the freaking phone so are you saying you are too dumb to know we dont use pallets to talk ????????i will not be going back here, I was going to sue them but I figured why waste my time, Ill just let karma do the job for me !I went here every two weeks but no more !!!!!!!!just FYI, dont accuse till you have concrete evidence !manager 101!!!!!!!!anyway yall suck and hopefully you get a new manager with better vision !!!👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

Benefit brow bar is RUDE RUDE RUDE!! Cancelled my wife’s appt for being 4 minuets late then proceeds to tell her she’s booked remainder of day and that she would have to check back every 20 minuets with our 3 year old in tow. Complained to manager who was of zero help! We won’t be going back again!!
