They were able to schedule me the next day and I really needed that because my current glasses broke! They were also exceptionally thorough and helped so much with the selection process. The doctor did an excellent exam. Love the glasses they ordered, they came out perfect! Thanks Target Optical in Petaluma!

Ok I am going to have to weigh in on Dr Tina Cheung too. Dr.Tsang is a great doctor, very thorough and observant. Hes my eye doctor and I trust his input completely.But Dr. Cheung is FRICKIN AMAZING! Patient, calm, matter-of-fact, kind...if you have kids? Shes your huckleberry. If you have kids with special needs? Shes a FRICKIN GODSEND. She may just be magic. We are so lucky to have her.

Dr Tina Cheung is the BEST export that Canada has ever sent to the United States!! Calgary’s loss...Petaluma’s gain. She is always friendly, professional, and happy to answer your questions!! The current front staff is also very friendly and professional as well. 😀

My experience with Target Optical was pleasant enough but, other than that.. not good. They got my prescription wrong. I got progressive lenses for the first time and was told it would take about two weeks to get used to them. I gave it the two weeks. Nope. I was experiencing vertigo, nausea and blurry vision. They suggested that maybe they needed to be adjusted. Ok... well, that did not work ether. I made another appointment to hopefully have them look again at the prescription, I knew it was going to take more than just an adjustment. I even TOLD them that when I look at my phone, it looks distorted, like it is being twisted. Surely, that can’t be right?! Right before my appointment day, I came down with shingles on my face, ear, nose..... super duper sick. I let Target Optical that I was unable to make it and probably would not be able to deal with the glasses for at least 3 months, that is the cut off period for getting the glasses remade. I was told, no problem, get better, we will make a note of it, blah blah blah. When I finally was well enough to deal with them however, they did not honor the promise made.It is a little more than a year later as I write this. I am STILL SUFFERING from the damage that shingles has done to me. (get the vaccine people!!) I had to wait one whole year for my insurance to pay for another go round. I went for a whole year not being able to see properly. I now have a proper prescription, no more twisted phone, no more vertigo and dizziness. No more FALLING because of dizziness. Yeah, bad things happen when you can’t see and as a result are off balance. Turns out, my prescription was WAY off!! LENSE CRAFTERS did a vision test and found that I have astigmatism. Big difference! Having the proper lenses makes all the difference. Shame on you Target Optical! You are lucky I didn’t decide to sue you after many falls due to bad glasses and bad customer care!
