I recently went to Bill and Jays to have my rear brakes repaired. I had been quoted a price from a different shop and Bill & Jays came in at a fraction of the cost. I dropped off my car and they called a while later to tell me that in fact no new brakes were not needed at all and that there would be no charge. They saved me a lot of money and prevented me from using that other shop ever again. I really appreciated their honesty and will make Bill & Jays my auto repair go to from now on.

Coming here was a breath of fresh air! Ive been to plenty of auto repair shops over the years and had plenty of bad experiences from oil changes to major repair. So when my car started acting funny a friend suggested I go see Kevin and Joey @ Bill and Jays I prepared myself for the typical run around being a not mechanically inclined. MAN WAS I WRONG! Kevin was quick to get my car in and diagnosed the problems I was having in minutes. He showed me where things were going wrong and explained everything to me! He showed me what needed to be addressed now and came up with a game plan of what what was most important and then down the line. Needless to say my car is now running like a champ and I couldnt be happier! Ive recommended Bill and Jays to friends and they too have been impressed with theyre professionalism, dedication to their customers and so on! This is the only place I will take my vehicles to!

Just visited the new owners a few weeks ago. My Subaru Forester had multiple warning lights on. The problem was quickly found as there was a hose or two disconnected. When I returned to pick up my car, there was not even a charge.

First time customer here and Ive got to say Im blown away with the service I received today!I work in Petaluma and literally drive by the shop daily, so I thought it was ironic that I ended up there when my truck wouldnt start today.My first thought was to have AAA tow it back to Novato where I live and take it to a mechanic there, but my boss told me to call Bill and Jays as its the only place he takes his cars to.When I called, Jarrett was really friendly and mentioned that they were closing soon, but that he was willing to take the time to check it out before they closed for the weekend.Faster than I ever imagined, Frank from the shop called and told me the truck was repaired and ready to go.Not only did they find the minor problem that my truck had, they also fixed it for a very fair rate.Looks like I just found my new mechanic!WINNING!Thanks again, Jarrett and Frank for the outstanding performance today, Im still amazed that you guys took care of me in such a fast and painless manner.I will certainly be back.

Gouged me!Brought my truck in because I I smelled some brake smoke. Turns out one caliper was stuck. But instead of telling me that they replaced both front calipers (which was fine) as well as all my brake pads even though they were less than a year old. When I asked to see my pads they at first showed me some decrepit pads that I knew were not from my truck. When I asked for my actual pads he went to the back and got them and they had a HUGE amount of life left in them.I know they are local guys and I wanted to have a hometown mechanic, and these guys could have done the right thing and had a customer for life. But instead they went for the fast buck and I will never go back!
