Havent been here in forever . Just leisurely browsed finding some good bargains for now and in the near future. Love how you dont get hassled by sales people and you can find things there that you cant anywhere else! They have some of everything.

I got all new Christmas decor this year and saved a bundle.

I used to love this place. Hadnt been there in a long time but its different. Instead of being full of items that were truckloads of unsold, salvaged, bargain items... Now, it is the same as any department store and the prices are higher. Bag of paper plates was 2.49 and at Aldis it was 1.69. Store was big, clean, but pretty much empty of people.

Usually interesting finds. Just wish they would enforce the mask policy

Some of the items are reasonably priced. We were there on a 20 percent off day, so the prices were really good. Generally priced no different than Dollar General. Nice place to find things you cant find everywhere though.

Went there for a few items and maybe extra. The cashier was really nice but some of the stockers almost ran us over 0wirh their carts

Love this place. First time ever visiting a big lots. Dropped a $100 easy. Made my wife happy with new towels, new serving bowl and yummy snacks and eccentric flavoured jellies.I will be coming back without her as there are tons of gift ideas.

They always have what i need when I get there and store is clean staff is very helpgul and nice to me. They also are taking precauctions for Covid 19 which I like alot. It keeps me coming back.

Found what I was looking for, but when it came time to find someone to help, that was the difficult part. After I found someone, she was very helpful and even brought out my purchase and helped me place it in my vehicle. Would have giving them 5 stars if I didnt have to search the store for someone.

Can’t take a trip to Peru without a BIG LOTS FIX. There’s always some need to stop. Excellent prices and always Special Sales makes BIG LOTS a MUST. Nearly as good as a MENARDS outing. One good thing about Peru, BOTH Stores are within walking distance of each other.

I miss this store. There used to be one in Sterling, IL. This big lots was well maintained. I will go back.

It is a rather dated store. You can find some decent deals on some of the stuff they carry from food, outdoor equipment, toiletries, and furniture.

They have things you cant get anywhere else, very good variety of gteat buys! Very friendly and helpful employees!!

Always leave there with something i didnt know i needed

Theyve come a long way...now the items are stacked and organized nicely in all the aisles. No more piles of clearance junk thrown all over the shelves.Today everything was separated,divided and hung. Cant beat the prices as always. I love the food aisle with a good variety of imported snacks to try! The only suggestion I can make to top the shopping experience off would be,tag prices on all the items,if not tagged,make sure the price label is on the shelf front. There are many items that I want to purchase but pass up because I dont have a clear price in my head. Yes,I could bring the item up and ask for a price check,but that can be a pain for the cashier,other customers in line and myself. Overall,really impressed at the cleanliness and organization level lately.

Big lots, had alot of great stuff on clearance today. But thats not what I wanna brag about today, a kind employee named kaylee helped me when I locked my keys in the car, she held the flashlight, she tried and helped teaching to get them, and finally got whatever known reason a safe light guy pulled onto the parking lots and she flagged him down to help and we got my keys out. Thank you kaylee for going above and beyond, your an amazing young women

Prices are bogus. They are no longer discount on most items. I found online cheaper and better quality. Everyday food items you will find same price at your grocery.

I like big lots.It seems a bit pricey lately.Not as much close out stuff anymore.Went to look for a bed and wow there wasnt many cheap options.There a cool selection of foreign foods asian,Italian and what not.weird pickle s, so thats cool.I love pickels.Good selection of olive oil.There is a toy section.pet section.seasonal section.Christmas now. Wow.its October.They really do have everything you might need.But you gotta watch the prices. If your thrifty .You will see that.But if it is a convenient one stop thing.They are goog. Thanks

Found just what I was looking for and it had a great price.

Great for cheap furniture, home décor, and Christmas decorations. Keep an eye out though cause you can pay a lot some things you can get cheaper at Walmart. A little tip keep and eye out at the makeup section, you can sometimes get some brand name makeup tools cheap and even find some of the off brand makeup that the YouTube makeup bloggers talk about that you cant find in other stores in the area. Also I wouldnt buy anything electronic from here EVER!
