I am so very angry and disappointed in this store (eye doctors are perfectly fine and it is the “store” portion that is the problem). I ordered a second pair of glasses for my daughter on Aug 23rd while getting her first (defective) pair of glasses fixed. I was pleased to have her replacement pair come in within 1 day but there was confusion about the second pair. While I was annoyed by the confusion I understood the issue and cleared up the confusion with an associate in person and had them order the second pair. Fast forward two weeks and no glasses have come in. Call into the shop and after asking where my daughter’s glasses are and going through the confusion issue again and explaining that I had come in and cleared up the confusion in person and was told they would be ordered and put on “rush” I expected to hear that the glasses were in within a few days. One week later and the glasses are still not in. I know if they wanted they could get the glasses in the next day as they did with the replacement glasses for the defective pair. I am so unhappy and do not recommend purchasing your glasses or contacts through the store.

Thank you to All About Eyes in Peru Illinois. Dr. Neumann was very kind and gentle with me since I am weary of getting glasses. She completely explained everything very thoroughly. After that Dawn helped me with good advice on the kind of glasses that fit the frame of my face and glasses that look nice on me and I thank her for that.

HORRIBLE PLACE!! I would not have given any stars but I had to. Do not go here unless you want to stress out over your eyesight for a year and think its because you cant adjust your glasses properly!!! THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION!!!! FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!! Obviously the doctor has no idea what he is doing!! I went someplace else and they figured it out. All about eyes just wants your money! I know that they will not do a damn thing about all the anguish that they caused me over these glasses plus time, money, MY EYESIGHT. BEWARE PEOPLE!!!

Great experience! The Dr was great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful! I havent been to the eye Dr in over 12 years and ended up needing glasses and they were very helpful and patient during my selection process! Also they were great helping me with my insurance!

Wish I could give it half a star...I thought I would’ve learned after last year having a terrible experience with them… $500 and still didn’t get a pair of glasses I could actually see out of !! This year not any better 4 weeks still haven’t gotten my glasses. “ Called the lab, they had to send them to a different lab’ this is what I’ve been told every week for 4 weeks!!! If and when I ever get my glasses I will never… Never go back to this place again! Don’t waste your time and money~ service was horrible!!!

Wonderful service and staff! I was nervous because it was my first time going to the eye doctor by myself (as an adult) however, Ericka made me feel very welcome and comfortable when I first arrived! My exam went pretty quickly, I was only there for about an hour! Then, after my exam, Alissa was very helpful and patient with me when helping me pick out my new glasses! She was also very helpful explaining insurance and billing options with me! Overall a wonderful experience!

When I called I got in for an appointment very quick! The doctor was very helpful and informative. There were so many glasses to chose from and the workers were very helpful and nice when trying to pick out the pair I wanted. I even ended up getting two pairs! I went to the Danville, Illinois office for my eye exam today. First time visiting, and was so pleased with the way everyone was so friendly and professional. Every part of the exam was explained to me so that it was very clear what I did and did not have to worry about with my eyes. I have never before had my eyes health explained to me so clearly. To start I want to emphasize the amazing customer service that we received from everyone at this location; but our optician Cassandra R went above and beyond. She had the patience to personally walk me through my complete indecisiveness and give me honest opinions. After trying on what seemed like a 100 different pairs of glasses I found the perfect pair. I would completely recommend her as your optician and this facility to handle any issues you might have.

They gave my a free glasses case!!I just happened to be traveling and stopped at the at the Starbucks next door, but I had lost my glasses case the night before so I stepped ti get a replacement. I had to change my Doctor because my insurance changed. I had so much anxiety. I am really hard to fit glasses for and have issues with my eyes getting dilated.Dr. Charmin was amazing she took so much time with me and explained to me about why I have problems getting dilated. She explained to me about why it is so hard to fit me for glasses and it all made sense.Alissa helped me get glasses. That woman has the patience of a saint. I sware I tired on like 50 glasses. I LOVE MY GLASSES!!!Jessica worked with me when my glasses came in. She fit me for my glasses and they look great. She adjusted them perfectly.

The staff is always friendly, they greet you when you walk in the door. If you are there for an exam they walk you to the waiting area. I have been going here for many years and they are always on time. Later night and weekend hours are very convenient! Thanks for always making visits pleasurable.

I have purchased several pairs of glasses from here recently. I would recommend going and seeing these great people to work with. I can be difficult to fit and they did a great job in getting me fit to my preference. I had some troubles with a pair of sunglasses but they went above and beyond to take care of me and even got me into a “loaner” pair while I waited for mine to come in. A lot of businesses will take care of you when everything goes perfect but it says a lot about a business when things don’t go as planned and how they take care of a customer. I will say the team in Peru did a great job.

Took my son to get his eye exam for drivers Ed. Walmarts vision center doesnt do exams. Something about not having a license to do exams, which im still wondering about. They were nice and very helpful. Did not have to wait at all. They were great!👍👍

Great service. Dr Neuman is absolutely a wonderful doctor. She reviews your chart and makes you feel comfortable. Although I only go there once or twice a year, she makes you feel as if your the only person there, each and every time. The staff also contribute to that feeling, given the fact they are a large company it has the feel of a mom & pop shop.

Went in for my yearly exam at noon on Sunday. Woke up with pink eye on Tuesday. Awesome! Employees with clean hands and clean equipment would be nice. Never going back.

Every time I go back here(every other year),the price is twice the last time. Also employees push for you to buy the more expensive products. I wont return here.

I had a very pleasant experience at the All About Eyes in Peru, ill. The staff was very knowledgeable and efficient. With a minimum amount of paperwork, I was taken care of at the exact time of my appointment, no waiting. There was very little time between the pre-screening and the actual eye exam. In total, I was only at the appointment for approximately 1/2 hour. I would recommend the location for all your eye care needs, especially if it is your first time.

Super annoying and pushy. They must make commission because that woman was on me like a hawk trying to find glasses and put them in the “maybe” pile. I had to get out of there and search online and she didn’t even give me a prescription paper to leave with because she wanted me to buy them from the store so bad. (Probably for the commission) never going there again. Why so many good reviews!? Gahhh

I love All About Eyes! The Optometrist did a thorough exam and provided recommendations for the type of frame needed for my prescription. She also checked the frame and lenses once they were made to be sure that they accommodated the prescription and that I was comfortable with the results. They have a large selection of frames for every style and price range and are willing to work with you on pricing. All the Opticians are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had both pairs of my new glasses in less then 7 days. I am very pleased with my experience.

Appointment was schedule at 3 was told to come in 15 minutes early for paperwork. Currently still in the waiting room at 3:20. If I am supposed to be here 15 minutes early to get paperwork filled out than MY time shouldnt be taken for granted and I shouldnt be waiting

Went in on a friends recommendation. Found great glasses and a great promotion for a 2nd pair. Paid less than I do at other eyeglass retailers for 2 pairs when I normally only get 1.Plus 90 day guarantee which I did use about a week later.One of my new glasses didnt look as great as I thought. I stopped in to check on how to go about using the guarantee. I was told to pick out another frame. They would place the order and when I picked up my new frames I could return my other frame which I didnt have with me.They arrived at the store on Tuesday and I had just ordered them Sunday.Very friendly staff. Make you feel welcome and they know their stuff!!My new store for frames !!

I had a great experience with All about Eyes in Peru Illinois I scheduled my appointment on line but somehow it didn’t go through to the store but they still got me in. Just had to wait a few minutes more. Dr Shiyarwala was very professional and explained everything. Was a delight to have such a great dr. My first time ever needing glasses. Then she turned me over to Cassandra for my eyeglasses. I was overwhelmed by the amount of glasses to choose from so I asked Cassandra to make some recommendations she picked out a few for me and that helped a lot. Fully explained everything thing and all the options. I started with just single vision glasses but overnight decided to change to bifocals she had no problem changing the order for me. All about eyes are number 1 in my book now. Tried to get into Local OTTAWA eye doctors before here but all were 2-3 week wait times and double the price. Excellent experience and quite comical too. Thought my mother in law was blind because she couldn’t see anything but a light In the mirror, come to find out the mirror needed adjusting we all had a good laugh. When it came to picking out lens and frames on a tight budget no insurance they were able to point us in the right direction and helped us save as much as we could.
