Evadently they close at 5 on wensdays now. Very inconvenient for those who get off at 5 and just need to pick up a quick ingredient instead of going to the grocery store.

My visit shopping was great!Last summer it was so unstocked and dirty ...bad service..then..New management and employees. And wow what a difference..I will be shopping there again...

Look, my girlfriend and I are big on the house always smelling good and what not so she used to drag me to Bath & Body Works all the time for candles and as much as I love tagging along it started to hurt my wallet. Dollar General came to the rescue. Cheap. Candles.

Rude employees. Shouldnt be running the store without proper training. Management needs to work on customer relations with employees and better training on their own systems, including cash registers, digital app and store signage. Cashier unable to explain digital coupon app. Then when I requested she check signage, I had to explain how their own sale works. 2nd employee was rude, with crazy eyes and tattoo on her chest, refunded me the overage for buy one get one 50% off (over refunded me) and scolded me for getting upset staff didnt understand their own system. She said corporate was awaiting my call about their baby pools blocking the front entrance. (They leave you 1.5 to get in the door and I tripped on their display) She then told me loudly to have a happy Easter and that I was banned. Check out one of the 2 lines and the receipt she gave me. I didnt get a receipt for all my purchase, just the one posted here. I sure will call corporate on Monday. I hope she enjoys her time off. Ill also be calling the local rep for Americans with Disabilities. Google doesnt allow me to upload the video of the display blocking the door.

Very disorganized. Most aisles were full of stock waiting to be put away. Garbage Can over flowing by front door. Not a pleasant experience.

Good cashier every time I go. They run out of bags sometimes tho and the store itself is not in very good condition

If you are someone who is concerned about catching Covid, don’t go here. Employees wear masks around their necks or under their noses. Half of customers are also defiantly maskless. It’s more than a little concerning when many of these people are sniffling or touching their faces and then proceed to touch the credit card machine. The long lines, empty shelves, and boxes in aisles also make this store incredibly frustrating.

You can get in and out quick

This dollar general was very cluttered shelves were bare. Dirty store but the cashier was happy very polite he was a younger guy.

Great for quick pick up of one or two items. Good prices on every day household items. Store is in an older building. Not always cleanest. But staff is helpful and courteous.

Love my Dollar store in Evergreen Square. Always clean and stocked most of the time. Had a great fridge area with a awesome choice of steam or frozen vegetables. The team they have working here no their stuff and works hard not to keep you waiting.

The cashier here was EXCEPTIONAL. she was pleasant, helpful, efficient and she even paid the remaining 50 cents or so I was short to purchase their last auxiliary cord which I desperately wanted for my imminent lengthy road trip. I was surprised and grateful for her willingness to so generously help. Surely shes an asset to DG. They should be proud of the way she represents the company. I wish I could remember her name! It was a Wed or Thursday evening, Aug 21/22???

Love shopping here since remodeling it looks way nicer. Girls who work here have always been great!

This store is always cluttered and disorganized. I got a nerf gun, price beneath $1. When it was rung up, $4. This is not the first time Ive had this issue!! However, they young lady at the register did end up changing me $1.

Still no liquid hand soap (Softsoap), out of milk, parking lot trashy. Employees very nice and helpful.

Since all large grocery stores have abandoned Peoria south of War Memorial Drive, this is what were left with. Small shop with lots of items, and as I was leaving the supply truck just pulled up to load even more in. Decent prices, got everything I needed with a few sale items, and friendly staff. Ive only been a few times but am planning on visiting more often just to support the neighborhood before they bolt also. No you cant really use this as your primary grocery store but for a quick bottle of ketchup, toilet paper or the like its fine. A lot easier to get in and out of than those megastores by a longshot. Thank you for staying with us.

My favorite dollar general to shop. I can get almost everything I need from juice to meat and have awesome sales items.

The folks that work there are always so sweet and nice. I stop there almost every Sunday after church to get odds and ends for my apartment. Great prices and great people.

Good variety. I purchased shower curtains with good quality for low price and was able to purchase other items as well at a good low price

Always dirty always cluttered staff isnt all that great I guess you work where you fit in lol not trying to be rude but just seems that way every time I ever been in there. If you need something and your right there then yes go in but if you are just going to go dont waste your time 😉

Horrible, nothing was stocked and I mean nothing. Boxes all over the place you could barely get down the isle almost sent me into an panic attack.

Im at the Dollar General pretty often and the shelves are always fully stock and clean. Great customer service!!🙂

Store needs cleaning ... debris on the floor and delivery carts on all sides of the outside

The employees are very nice. The problem I have is the floors are gross. They need to rent a buffer and scrub them and then use an acrylic professional wax and shine them up. Then all you would need to do is dust mop and wet mop. It would make the rest of your store look so much better. I dont like going in because it always feels filthy dirty.

The employees here are ling term and it becomes to feel like a small town store where you know each other. A nice shopping experience.
