The staff is friendly but the service wasnt done right. Had both HID headlights replaced and neither was aligned correctly. There was a dark V in front of the Jeep. Corrective service wasnt done right either. Neither beam was horizontal and the high beams were useless. Contacting Jeep to see if they can help get the headlight issue corrected

I located the truck I wanted online. Due to the limited supply, I searched a 500 mile radius. I called Sam Leman Chrysler Jeep Ram and was introduced to Mike Abboud. He and I discussed the potential purchase and my trade-in for a couple of days. The work and effort he put in was what sold me. By the second day, I secured it with a deposit. I am a firefighter in Memphis and was finishing my tour for the week, so he assured me the vehicle would be there for me as soon as I could get on the road. From Memphis to Peoria, I made the drive, checked into a motel, and planned to meet Mike the next morning at the dealership. I fully expected to be confronted with intense negotiations to hammer out the deal. Mike and I exchanged keys, and he told me to take it for a test drive. Within 15 minutes, I returned and sat down in the business office. Everything we discussed was honored. Not one ounce of difficulty did I encounter. In the time it took to sign the appropriate papers, I was on my way home, driving my new truck. Mike is a genuine, honest, and engaged salesman who went the distance for me, sight unseen. My experience with a Sam Leman was very uplifting. I did not feel rushed into anything everything was done in a calm easy manner. Adam was very helpful and very well mannered. He helped me get the car that I like which is wonderful.

Mike Abboud sold me a car that had a blown head gasket and several other smaller problems in April of 2021. When I took it to another dealership to get the work done to it, Kevin with Leman told me they had no idea it had a bad head gasket when they sold it to me. Which means they don’t check out the cars they sell very thoroughly before selling them to unsuspecting buyers. Mike also told me that I was “just a wife” and didn’t need to be included in financing. I should have walked right then and there. Mike also told me that it was incredibly difficult to find a used third row seat vehicle, which sounded unlikely to me. The dealership that is servicing my vehicle now has received 6 cars recently bought from Leman in Peoria in the last month, all with issues that should not have been happening on cars that were just sold. If you are female, this dealership will treat you like dirt. Their used cars are not checked out by their service dept very well. Their office staff is completely unhelpful. It took me 20 minutes to find my car in the back lot every time I had to pick it up because no one could be bothered to tell me where it was parked. Karma is a b****.

Took my car in for breaks and an estimate to repaint my hood due to rust bubbling the paint. Job was complete within a day and car runs great… however, the following morning I noticed walking to my car several dents and a smudge on the hood. Looked like blue paint was dripped, partially dried and someone tried to wipe it up which then smeared. I took the car back to the dealer and asked the manager if he could try to remove the stain. He used some solution and it did not come off. He offered to take my vehicle to their detailer where they attempted to remove the stain but was unsuccessful. Manager then offered me a free oil change and tire rotation for the inconvenience…Displeased with the service, I decided to call the next in command of their service department and explained my situation to him. He called the manager I interacted with before and that manager said they took pictures of my vehicle before they began work on the car and the blue marks were already there. My car is filthy, you can see the dust on the hood in the picture except for the area that has blue paint and that area is clearly wiped clean- you can see the glare/tacky smudge like it was just wiped and smeared. Again, the manager denied wrong doing and said it was a pre-existing condition.They tried to make things right by offering to repaint that area where the smudge was. That wouldn’t be a problem except it’s right where a hood ornament would be and between to areas of bubbled paint, which they will not touch. It would look stupid if they touched that area up and not the rest. So my options are, have them fix that one spot for free or they would cut the cost of repainting the entire hood in half so I would have to pay 500 bucks to repaint the whole hood… in their eyes this is my fault, but the only mistake I made was taking my car to Sam Leman’s in Peoria, IL for a maintenance. I will not be back and would not recommend their services.

The service was great! But I had encountered a few issues. I was told by one of the service managers that my truck drives and without the alarm and lights flashing. I was super relieved. Then I get back to my vehicle not only to find out that the lights are still flashing but my front right tire was flat, my truck wouldnt turn on so the manager jump started it, my ABS and Emergency Break lights were now on, theres a ticking sound coming from my engine, and was told that my power steering fluid or pump is going out due to the noise it was making when i turned the wheel. Which none of this was going on before it got there. Accept my alarm lights were flicking on and off due too some faulty after market alarm system in the truck. Again the service manager was nice and quick to help me jump start and air up my tire. But now I have more problems then I started with. On top of that he told me in order to get an extensive diagnosis, it would cost me around $600 and would take about 3 hours. Thats rent money gone for 3 hours of labor of just diagnosing. But like i said, atleast the manager was cool. Maybe if I can get rid of this Ill come back and hopefully get a great deal on one of those nice 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Had a new guy check me in and we discussed what was to be done (oil change, tire rotation, and potentially a driving lights/fog light). The only thing that got done was an oil change which I had two free ones left, and he didn’t even notice that so he tried to charge me until I pointed it out. I realize he’s new but someone should have helped him out.

Car buying experience was positive overall. We came in late on a Saturday, and staff stayed after closing to finish everything. Did not have the exact model I wanted, but were able to find one and transfer it over. Appreciated the coloring book to keep my 3yr old busy. Only complaint was lengthy wait for finance with customers in front of us.

They come out and plug their tablet in and tell you what is wrong with it. Its fast and accurate diagnoses provided you notify them of everything you have had done to it. It always helps to locate issues before taking it to any shop
