Ive shopped at Maxie Beauty Supply since it opened many, many years ago. The store is well stock. You can find almost all of the product you see in the DIY hair videos. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is knowledgeable and professional. Youll find hair products and more. No matter who you are and what youre looking for try Maxie first. I never gives 5 stars. We all have room for improvement.

I have been shopping with both Ken (south side location) and Monica (Sterling location) for over 15 years. They always have what you need to meet the demands of current trends. If in the off chance they don’t, mention your interests and they will likely have it by your next visit. Both Monica and Ken are professional and respectable. Both have made reasonable accommodations in the event that I need to make returns. I would recommend doing business with them for your hair care needs until the glorious day that one of our own opens a beauty supply chain ☺️ (no shade to Monica or Ken!!)

I wouldnt shop here ever again. They sold me overpriced hair which was so terrible it tangled and was unusable within less than 48hours. This is insane. Hair was 3 times the regular price !! Check and compare prices and you wont shop here. Ridiculous!

The Employees are helpful and very polite. All is professional with a personal feel. They stock just about anything you may be looking for & if you dont see it just ask & they will do their best to accommodate you. Theres also Licensed Cosmetitions on site if you just ask. Beverly is my favorite, shes Licensed, friendly, knowledgeable, professional & simply a true blessing.

Maxie will always be my favorite beauty supply in Peoria! And Ive tried them all. I always go back to Maxie. Mostly because the staff and owners treat you like family. Well they treat you like royalty but royal family lol. If I cant find what Im looking for they always help me find something comparable. They have everything! Makeup, clothes, beauty products, hair galore. I love Maxies.

Maxis have been around for along time. Recently they have expanded their store items and I love it! They have more choices of braiding hair, weaving hair, wigs, you name it. Monica the owner is savvy and knows her patrons well. When she is there behind the counter she always greet you with a smile when you walk in the door!

Owner is awesome. When you need a special order they go above and beyond to place an order to make supply and demand is met for their customers. I couldnt find enough hair bows they ordered enough. Made a courtesy call for pick up.

I love this store! Very convenient for me, Great prices! women who work here are veryyyy helpful and very nice! Although the color I need for my ponytail extensions and hair peices are all too dark for my hair so they need lighter colors for people who have lighter hair instead of just dark brown and black. Other than that its great here alot of options to choose from!
