Good coffee and friendly staff were always ready and waiting to help us. Food items were pretty good as well. Google driving directions were a bit confusing but we were able to find a short cut that worked better for us.

The coffee is awesome and the employees are great, but why is there no system in place for mobile and delivery orders? The reason why people choose these services is for expedited service and convenience. If you can’t meet the needs of your customers you should stop offering them altogether and save people time and confusion. Or you could sit down and put your heads together and come up with a plan that actually works. Your competition across the street has a plan that works semi efficiently maybe you can reach out to them and get some ideas?

The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. Line moves quickly, as they are very efficient. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the lack sugar free options for those with dietary restrictions.

This has quickly become my go to local coffee place! The whole staff is always friendly and ask how your day is going. Their coffee is light-years ahead of the big green coffee shop across the street. Cant go wrong stopping by and picking something up!

They got my order wrong again. Ordered a sugar free watermelon lemonade. By the time I took a sip I was already driving off and realized it wasnt sugar free. It was really sweet. Really, really sweet. The person at the window is nice and friendly as usual, but doesnt matter when I cant drink what I ordered. Theyve gotten my order wrong before. This was especially frustrating as I cant even drink it.

I asked the drive thru employee that I wanted to try a Fuel Energy Drink sweat was her favorite kind? She recommended a Pixie and oh my goodness it is delicious! I am in love! I will be back to have another one or another recommendation.

Always taste your drinks before you pull away. This location makes drinks wrong fairly often. I have been coming daily, sometimes twice a day for over a year. Sometimes you can go months without a bad drink, and then have 3 days in a row where you have to return your drinks.The employees are always very nice about remaking the drinks, but they usually end up tasting bad still. On those days, I get my money back and drive to the 67th Ave and Bell location, and order the same thing, and my drinks taste fine. I dont know if its the machines at this location burning the espresso, but it is very inconvenient and time consuming to have to return my drinks. We spend about $18 daily for 2 drinks at Black Rock, but when this happens, we end up just brewing our own espresso at home instead for weeks or months until we have a day off to try again when we have time to go through the whole hassle or returning them if they taste bad.

Fifteen minutes to prepare a doordash order is excessive. For a place that has a tight ship and A drive thru and ten people working Im extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed I tried using good old American cash! They wouldnt take it since when is a $50 not acceptable there are plenty of counterfeit detectors that can be used. Then they put my bagel in a styrofoam clamshell and no napkins. Why not use a paper bag so youre protected from the cream cheese. Disappointing experience yet this place is always full I will not be back!

I enjoy stopping for a sugar free latte at Blacj Rock coffee....because the have ALL THE FLAVOR AVAILABLE IN SUGAR FREE! Other coffee shop usually only carry vanilla. I also tried the green tea cold and it was perfectly brewed and refreshing. I am alot impress that their rewards program linked to my phone so easily, the three times I when are shown when I registered my account. I love a company with smart, customer-experience focus in mind.The staff are so friendly and patient as well.

Waste of time & money. 2nd experience, 2nd order wrong. I ordered a hot sugar free latte, idk what iced nasty I got, but it wasn’t what I ordered or paid for. Then there is the kids hot chocolate. Hot drinks DO NOT get served in COLD CUPS & given a cardboard straw. Don’t have a hot cup, then tell me your out of cups. The male at the window offered to remake my drink, no thanks I waited 13 minutes for the wrong drink already.

Ceiling was leaking and staff took a while to service even though there was multiple employees just standing around. Once I was serviced they made my drink really fast.

Love this location!! Folks are always friendly, drinks are always prepared as expected and parking is not as chaotic as some other locations. I live 30 minutes away, but go out of my way to swing by this location in particular as much as possible when Im out and about. Keep up the great service!

Drive thru is faster and a lot friendly experience. When walking in, employees have never greeted me and I had to wait a long time to place an order and receive my order even when no one is ahead of me

Coffee drinks are good but the management is terrible. They treat employees very poorly. Recently tricked an employee to sign a reprimand for calling in sick and then fired the employee. In a pandemic, companies should allow sick employees to stay away from work and not fire them when they have symptoms. All and all this company will fail because of this type of leadership.

I absolutely love black rock coffee bar... Not only is the staff the very BEST but their Caramel Blondie chiller is just what you need to cool you off and pick you up!

First time to visit. Busy line but went fairly quickly. I will try again to find a drink to make me want to return. Todays drink wasnt it, because I like coffee, but not the coffee taste. For four drinks, one was for a child it was $20.00, kind of seemed expensive.

BR has great coffee & competes well with Starbucks across the street in the Lake Pleasant area. We come from Surprise to buy an occasional coffee.It would be more convenient for us and many others if Black Rock would build a coffee shop on Bell & Dysart, (in Surprise) or somewhere on that end of Bell Rd.

Hands down a must try place! Not only are the drinks amazing.. the workers are just as chill and amazing too. Give them a try!!

Starbucks has much to learn for these people. FRIENDLY staff! Good products. Fair prices. I always leave a tip as a result. When indoor service starts again, this is going to be hard to avoid as a place to plan the day.

So my brother and I dont really go to many coffee places. Reason being we dont know much about more recent coffee things going on and what theyre called (im 19, hes 12). He got a gift card for this place so we decided to go. When we got in the building was very clean, smelled fantastic and had a great vibe to it as well. When my brother and I were asking questions they didnt get irritated with us or give an attitude (*cough cough* Starbucks *cough cough*) and helped us through our decision of what we wanted. It came out fast even though they had a ton of orders, and tasted fantastic. I know for a fact ill come back sometime.

Coffee was good. Im a die hard Starbucks gal, but I will definitely be back for another Blackout (hazelnut mocha.). Great people, great customer service.

While I was extremely disappointed that none of their employees wore masks on their opening day as we are in the middle of a pandemic, I have been back several (yes, several!) times since and happy to say they are now for the safety of all. In terms of coffee, they are always spot on and Caramel Blondie is my go-to but the Cold Brew is a close second. I look forward to the day when they open their lobby since it looks pretty cool from the outside. Give this place a try if you haven’t already.

Very friendly staff. Quick service I went to the drive-thru and was behind 7 cars. Took roughly 4-5 minutes to get my drink. Very happy with all of Blackrock locations so far.

By chance stop by for a cold blended coffee, we were asked if we whated to join there free coffee club. I said no thank you. After we left all talked about was the blended coffee. Low and behold a week later we are put and about and wanted a cold coffee. We drove 8 miles across town to retry the same store, and the out was just as great

Love the coffee. A bagel is hard to screw up but its always soft. My only complaint is the wait. Everything else is great

Service was good, however, the latte/capp was extremely bitter. The blueberry scones were horrible - they were very dry and tasted OLD. Very disappointed!!

A great new coffee place with very quick drive-thru service. please know that the lobby is currently closed and is only drive-thru even if you just want to pick up ground or a whole coffee beans to take home. The staff is a little bit new so they may not know the entire menu by heart but please be patient and you will be rewarded with very good coffee.

Super sad. My third attempt to get coffee at this place and I still have not been able to. Today I drove 11 mi out of my way just to stop by. The drive-thru line is wrapped around the building and protruding out into the parking lot and their lobby is closed. I completely understand that this company is literally the only gig in town unless you like starshmucks, but I feel like that puts black rock in some sort of higher obligation to provide this unalienable resource to the community... This is a very serious coffee crisis that needs to be addressed. Buy a pop-up go mobile give me a way to order in advance and like swing by a booth and pick it up like Uber style or something... Ill be my own Uber. Help me out man!

Undrinkable and incompetent. I ordered a very basic decaf mocha with breve and they got it wrong 3 times! I had to wait for them to make it right on the forth try. Then it was so sickly sweet and disgusting. Will not be back.
