I do not trust lightly and I do plenty of research before choosing a shop to go to. I would highly recommend Kens Auto, Christina was who worked with me and she was honest and upfront with anything I needed help with from the get go. Very professional, very open with communication and reassurance, and very fairly priced. I personally will not let any other shop work on my vehicle after my experience here. If I could give 10 stars I would! Well worth any wait if there is one!

I brought my car there to get a pcm replaced. I told them what the issue was and he quoted me $900 to replace the pcm. I thought it was a little high for that but decided to just get it done. So I paid $78 to get my vehicle towed to there shop. After 4 days I get a call saying Ford doesn’t make that pcm anymore? He could of told me that before I had my vehicle towed to his shop. So now I’m stuck paying him $100 to tell me something I already knew. Plus I’m out $78 for the tow? He was not professional and I’m basically out $178 and I’m right where I started. I’m also out another $34 for a tow strap because I refuse to pay another $78 for a tow. Whatever you do do not bring your vehicle to kens auto unless you want to throw your money away.

Fantastic Service with clear and concise results. Owner is extremely respectful and informative on work being done, she takes great pride in the work warranty as well. I was able to get my car in and worked on the next day. Pricing is extremely reasonable, even for foreign cars. I wont go anywhere else.

I have used this shop several times and always impressed. The pricing is very reasonable and they do good work. They will not charge you for something that they cant find and fix.I had a Kia Soul fail to start after many tries, it wasnt the battery or starter or fuel pump either. So I had it towed to them. It started for them the next day, and they couldnt duplicate the problem. So they didnt want to guess and throw parts at it, which I agreed with. And it hasnt happened again as of yet.They have overall great reviews for a reason. You cant make everyone happy, as per some reviews, but anyone that knows business....knows that you cant make everyone happy, some people are unreasonable, some have unreasonable expectations, some understand nothing about anything, or maybe they just had a valid a one off bad experience. No one is perfect in life or business. However, if you dont have a trusted shop, try this shop!

Every oil change, every engine light (some sensor), everything that needs to be fixed, I have Ken do all the work on my car. Been going to him for almost 3 years now. I’ve called at the last minute when something has gone wrong (one of the cylinders stopped functioning.. put new meaning to the saying not firing on all 4 cylinders). Anyways, that was at I think 4 in the afternoon on a Thursday or Friday and they were able to get it in that day to fix it. Sometimes they can’t do that but that day they could. I highly recommend taking your vehicle there. Everett is great too! Ken and Everett are Very personable.

My family and I just got back after being stationed overseas for the past 4 years. We are slowly getting everything in order in the US and a big part of that was buying a car that we could trust. I saw that Kens Auto Repair had great reviews and was reputable, so I called to have an inspection done on a used car I was looking to buy. Ken was extremely friendly and welcoming when making an appointment for me on pretty short notice. When I arrived with the car, he was extremely nice and made the experience enjoyable. The inspection was thorough and very quick. Ken was honest in the assessment and didnt do anything shady. All of my concerns were addressed and both the seller and myself were amazed at the service. I highly recommend going to Kens for auto repair and estimates. They will take care of you.

I went there with pulsating brakes thinking I was going to need new pads/rotors all around. They got me in with no waiting, told me I just needed rotors turned, and I was in and out in 40 minutes. They saved me a lot of money by being honest; refreshing. And their lobby has a big tv and is loaded with lots of free snacks and goodies!

Ken and his team have been taking care of my 2002 Isuzu rodeo since 2015. They have done both maintenance and repair work on it and it continues to run really well for a car of this age. I can’t think of anyone else I would let look under the hood and this includes a larger dealership garage. I’ve come to trust and depend on Ken and his team to give me a fair assessment when I bring my auto in for a maintenance checkup and a fair price too. In the longer run having good quality work done on my Isuzu keeps it running smoothly. If you are looking for a smaller independently run garage it would be hard to beat Ken and his team in terms of service and work especially if you have an older vehicle.

We have used Ken’s for years now, Ken and his staff are honest, they will show you what the problem is if there is one, and they will not charge you for work they have not performed. When we are looking for a new used car, we have them inspect it first. We appreciate their integrity.

My wife and I are new transplants here from Seattle and we had discovered a leak in her Rav 4 rear axle. So I. got on line, did my due diligence and of course read the reviews here which is why I chose to see Kens. They did everything to plan, charged us just a little less than what they quoted and we were out the door before the end of the day. I kind of like that old fashion quality service. I went to Kens Auto today (on Kelton). This is a great place! They took my car into the shop right away and had the problem fixed within a couple hours of my call. They were personable and very professional. Kept me informed the entire time about what was happening with the car. The technician even came out to describe the work they had done. Fast, professional, good work and very affordable. This is where I will be bringing my car from now on!

Dont take your vehicle any where else! These guys are a class act! They are honest, friendly and take a great deal of time to properly diagnose an issue instead of just replacing unnecessary parts and making you pa for them. Ken spent time on the phone with me helping me diagnose the issue not knowing if I was even going to bring my car to him. I did, and am very satisfied with the entire experience.

They went above and beyond trying to trouble-shoot and find a battery for my Hybrid Camry that was more affordable then the one from the dealership. They have always been a reliable, honest, and trustworthy shop, and I was pleased with my car this time around too. Over the week leading up to 4th of July when I booked my car in they were much more packed then usual, and I could tell, since it took a bit longer to get my car back, plus I saw the amount of appointments & walk-ins they had in one day alone (wow! Such great service and they do so much in a day! ^_^); however, they have always been a great, reliable shop, and I will remain a loyal customer, plus part of the reason it took longer is because they were trying to find a more affordable option for me, which is wonderful :). I would also like to add, that they never add extra fees, and they are always honest--for example, they checked my brakes this time, and always inform me if I need them changed, and what work is priority that needs to be done on the car. I love the honesty, it shows great work ethic and its sometimes hard to find in car repair shops :).

Ken is super knowledgeable, he will not do repairs unless you need it. I find him very honest. He will deter you from spending money. I drive 35 minutes to go to Ken but I know his work is top notch. I highly recommend him.

KARS is the ONLY place I trust for vehicle repairs in Phoenix area! Ken and the crew did excellent work on my vehicle and fixed the issue that countless other shops in Phoenix could not figure out. You owe it to yourself and your wallet to give Kens first shot at fixing your car. Brought in my clunker for a new starter. Called around; not only was Kens the lowest price, but when I went to pick it up Everrett knocked down the price another 10%. I didnt even ask for the additional discount...when has that ever happened when getting your car repaired...???!!! The quality work is stellar; peeked into the garage and everything is almost too clean. Kens really prides themselves on customer service from top to bottom. Definitely my first choice.

They did the repairs quickly and the customer service was excellent. When I went to pick up my car they told me they found the part cheaper so the price was now lower than the quote. Most places would have pocked the money. I appreciate an honest business and will use KARS again.

I have a 2006 Ford Escape that had a misfire that was hard to figure out. It only happened at highway speeds (45-65) and never seem to want to throw a code. It finally threw one on us as we were driving up the mountains and dropped by a Oreilys to get it read. A misfire in cylinder 5. The engine light turned off before getting back into town. Took it to 2 other mechanics without a diagnosis. Finally decided to give it another shot and took it to KARS. They were able to find a pinhole size crack in the coil to the spark plug. $40 in parts/labor and weve not had an issue since! Took it up the Grand Canyon and back with no problems! Thanks KARS for finally figuring it out. Well be sure to come back the next time we have any issues.

Took my 82 Vette in with an overheating problem. They diagnosed and fixed it the same day and gave me a ride both directions so I wouldnt have to wait. The guys seem to be very knowledgeable, as well as being pleasant and considerate. Have to go back tomorrow so they can help me get the car to pass emissions. Ill let you know how it goes! I was looking for a new repair shop that i could rely on for all my future repairs in my area. I saw the high rating for kars and decided to give them my business. I was looking for a shop to do a radiator flush on my Toyota tacoma so i went there to check out the shop and get a price for this . I was satisfied with the price they quoted. I was planing on doing this myself and had purchased two radiator hoses from Toyota to install when i did the flush. I asked them how much they would charge to install them when they did the flush. I was shocked when they said it would be 200 dollars just to install the two hoses not counting the flush . I used to do a lot of my own work so i know that to install the top hose would take less than 10 minutes but the bottom one is more work but not more than 20 to 25 minutes . I told them no and looked at some other shops that were rated at least a 4 star. I found two i felt comfortable with they were both withing 20 dollars for the flush and one would install the hoses if i did the flush for 49 dollars and the other for 69.IF you go to this place I would be sure to check around to get competitive prices.The shop was clean and the people there were friendly I was just shocked at the quote they gave me

I own a 2006 Miata and I recently had my coolant changed and the hot water overflow tank replaced by them and it was a good job. The other day it wouldnt start in a parking lot thinking a dead battery, got a jump and it did nothing. Thinking its the starter or relay I had it towed to Kens, upon arrival he called me to let me know it arrived from AAA and that he would get on it soon. I totally sold myself and I think Ken that it was a starter and was getting price quotes just so I was prepared, well once he got to it and dignosed it it ended up being a fuse...a simple cheap fuse that he totally could have made a starter issue and I wouldnt have known the difference. Thanks for being honest and a good guy! All my other cars will be getting Kens Kare from now on.

I cant say enough good things about Kens Auto Repair. I had a reasonably complex problem with the actuator(s) in my 2008 Pontiac Vibe. Ken and Evert stood behind their work and stayed with the problem until it was fixed . I am pleased to unconditionally recommend Kens for professionalism and quality service.

So far so good! The service is as good as the reviews. Got my brakes fixed on my Infiniti was quoted a price and was waiting for the typical auto shop call with increased price and nope they did what they said they were going to do for the price they said! Repair took a little longer than quoted time but to me that just means they really wanted to make sure they did an A plus job and like to check their work! Ive been going to the Infiniti dealership for all car service for my car but Ill be going here now for everything big and small!

I’ve debated on whether or not to post a review because I’m not one to complain much or like ever but this is one case where I just can’t stay silent. I’ll start by saying that we have come here for years and always received excellent service at an affordable price so it pains me to write a bad review. Anyway, a couple months back we brought in our 98 4Runner because it leaked oil like craaaazy and we told them we wanted that fixed completely. We didn’t care what it took to fix any and all oil leaks. We also wanted any other problems they found to be addressed. This was my husbands work truck and he relied on it to work so we wanted everything we could find fixed so he wouldn’t be out of work. Well we get it back and they told us that they fixed 80% of the leaks but 20 % they couldn’t fix.... guys the truck still leaked like a stick pig. They said they flushed the engine and it was full of sludge, even showed us pictures.. which I believe able it’s an old truck. They even said they threw in a bunch of extra work for free... they charged us 1,200 dolllars. The oil leak wasn’t even close to being repaired and we got the truck back without the air filter being mounted back on.. not a huge deal we can handle that, not even a week later my husband is at work and he left his truck on while he got his tools and supplies ready for the day, it was about 5 minutes a coworker rushed in and tells my husband his truck is on fire!!! So they put it out with an extinguisher. This damaged a lot of other things that we went and replaced ourselves. Upon closer inspection there’s a decent sized crack on the head of the engine that we hadn’t noticed and appeared to have some burnt debris of some sort of filler over it.. did they try and fill it to hide the cracked head? I’m not sure.. anyway we decide to take the truck and have a new engine put in elsewhere, kars had quoted us 3-4K to do this and we got it done for wait for it.. 1,300 $ just a little over what kars charged us to do god knows what?!? Really we used to love this place, it was excellent and we referred everyone we knew there.. now I wouldn’t send anyone there ever. I don’t know what happened. But I’m really very disappointed. Never again. I’d rather make repairs myself than to chance getting robbed.
