As a woman, and young woman at that, I was always very hesitant about going into auto shop without my boyfriend or dad around. For the obvious reasons of easily being cheated or overcharged. However, when I first went to Black Wrench, the staff was very professional and friendly. I told them what I needed done (which at the time was just an oil change) and, asked the man in charge to look over at my truck and just see if anything else was majorly wrong or in need of fixing as well. I knew my car was older and might have major problems that I ignore every day but I wasnt quite ready to pay for something else. When I came back to pick up my truck, the charged me for my oil change only and told me a couple of things he noticed about my truck. He was honest and told me that the issues werent mandatory immediate fixes and I could go months without tending to them...but he also told me the importance of eventually getting around to them. I thanked the man, payed, and now I go to Black Wrench every three months for an oil change and every time I need a major fix. I love this shop because the man in charge is honest, doesnt seem money hungry at all, and is straight to the point!

Weve had three cars repaired at Black Wrench Auto in Peoria, AZ, over the past year and have always been very pleased with the service. The repairs were done quickly, professionally and at a very reasonable price.We found out about them through a friend and brought my 99 Acura to them for some air conditioning repair work (important here in AZ). Our oldest son bought a car shortly after that and we took the car into Black Wrench to find out what issues it might have before we finalized the deal. The owner saved us a fortune by pointing out some serious issues that were being disguised by the dealer and we ended up buying a different car (that we also had BW check out). That car has been in for maintenance and some minor work a couple of times and, again, great service.Weve also taken our 06 Toyota Sequoia in for some work and have had nothing but a great experience.
