It is a nice safe and clean place to store items. I gave 3 stars because in 1 year my rent has been increased twice. Im paying $30 more then when I rented the storage space. Due to ongoing increase I will be moving my stuff to another storage unit.

This place is very organized and clean. I would only recommend they get some help cleaning up all the homeless people hanging out. The girls were very good and helped me out with the size and what I needed it for.

Signed a contract on Saturday, paid over $200 that day for three weeks of the month, needed to cancel it AS SOON AS THEY WERE OPEN AGAIN, and the lady who answered the phone had major attitude. I didnt ask for a refund, but those were the first words out of her mouth (were that I wasnt due a refund). It would have gone a long way customer-service wise to either (a) offer a partial refund or (b) be at least apologetic about not being able to do so. Never do business with these people. They obviously hate their job.

Just rented a unit from this place and they are awesome. Lisa was very informational and helpful in picking out the right size that i needed.

The longer you are with them the more money they want. The prices go up every 6 months. I have had a unit with them for almost 2 years and I started off paying less than $100 now I pay $133 a month it’s not like the storage is growing in size they are just getting more and more greedy.

Horrible customer service. They will lie to you and lock you out of your unit weeks after you pay for it in full. Please do not use this place if you value your property and having access to it. We will be moving our property to another business as soon as possible.

Raised my “rent” over $40! I never received a notice, phone call, email, nothing.I have been with this facility for almost 3 yrs now, each yr it has increased by about $10 and I have always received a notice. I tried to get help with this matter and Jessica was impossible to work with. Hateful employee.

In the weeks leading up to our move-in from another storage facility, she stayed in contact with us and was always willing to help get an answer to any questions they had. This company is the worst. I’ve tried getting in touch with them to pay my bill and they wouldn’t return my phone call. I called again and asked for the district manager to return my phone call which never happened as well. I tried getting my things out as soon as I lost my job due to covid-19. I drove an hour from where I live with money to pay it up to date. But knew I couldn’t pay the next month so I wanted to get my things out. STILL NO PHONE CALL!I hate that you have to call a call center and they put out notices to call.I still haven’t received a phone call from them and now my unit is up for auction.

I use this facility for over 8 years when it was originally Space Box. They had an awesome crew which transferred over when they became a part of Uncle Bobs. The manager at the time kept the place extremely clean and everything work perfectly. Years later the owner changed companies to Simply Self Storage they brought in a new crew and the facility started taking a beat. The back gate did not work for over a year - I think it was about two. The grounds has trash all over them and the offices hours changed so it is more convenient for the management team instead of the customers. Several months back I almost lost my unit due to not getting my VA pay since they had been back logged. I had a friend help me out and got everything taken care of. I had told the young girl that was the manager at the time the situation and has said they knew it was not a regular locker that would go to auction since due to its contents. They had already cut the lock off. When I had gone into the locker to relock it with my own lock I could tell that it has been gone through. They also like to send out increases it seems every 6 months and they notify you via post card - so make sure you dont throw your junk mail away. I had recommended that place to several people that had asked me about storage there, but since they changed over to Simply Self Storage I started recommending other facilities.

I like this better than other local storage places because its convenient to 10 and 110.Has changed owners a few times and got a 5% unexpected price increase after less than 6 months so thats not so cool. Good indoor and garage door facilities. Periodically the gate is broken for more than 24 hours which also bothers me a bit but no issues other than these. Generally nice and helpful staff and clean facilities.Two months later update May 2017:For the second time this month we have come to the storage facility late at night and both the front and the back gate are totally up and open. The lights are not on and there is no security. Every time we tell someone about it they tell us its a temporary problem, that it just happened, that it will be fixed tomorrow, and then we come back again and its the same thing. We are super upset and want a refund and will let you guys know if this business is at all responsive because what the heck are we paying for? Storage is supposed to be secure at $200/month. We will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau because we feel like we are being duped and there is no recourse for our investment. Will be moving out as soon as we are able to make it possible.Also, I have to note that all the five star reviews that talk about great management, super easy, nothing but compliments are very suspect to me at this point. The staff who work here are nice enough, but consistent five star versus one star reviews tells me that someone is trying to load the deck in their favor, and likely illegitimately

Simply Self Storage was great. I wanted secure and climate controlled storage for a reasonable price and that is what I got. One of the carts had a broken wheel when I moved my stuff in but when I moved my stuff back out the carts were in tip-top shape. I must have just grabbed a cart before it got repaired the first time. I recommend Simply Self Storage. Clean and secure.

The customer service here is absolutely horrendous. We were charged $20 for not having a physical copy of our insurance upon renting, but told we could get reimbursed when we brought back a physical copy. We brought a copy back within 30 minutes and were told to get our $20 back we had to pay for an additional month because they could not reimburse, only credit the account in the future. After multiple calls with the manager, who has showed a hostile and uncooperative attitude throughout the whole process, and reaching out to the district manager, we finally got $10 back after a month of back and forth. We are still working on getting the other $10 that they claim they have no record of even though it’s printed on our receipt. The manager Jessica has been incredibly rude through the entire process. I even wished her a good day at the end of one of our phone calls to which she responded “ha, yeah, ok.” It has been an absolute nightmare working with these people, and we will be overjoyed when we can move our stuff out and never have to deal with them again. Their storage facilities might be ok (TBD) but their staff is not worth the headache.

She was fairly new to working at Simply Storage, but she wasnt afraid to admit she didnt know the answers for everything, which I really admire. Nice and friendly staff and nice and clean units. All in all my experience has been good with them. However, theres a couple things that I dont like. One is you get a code for the gate, which is excellent to keep theft and such from happening as much, but the code cant be used after 10 at night and not before 10 in the morning. I sometimes need a late night run to grab some stuff out of my unit or a couple of times I needed stuff at 5 and at 7 in the morning and couldnt. But I definitely like them having a gate with codes just hates the time restriction. And, secondly is the fact that I have one of the indoor units that is supposed to be climate control, and may be better than I think, but after being in for between 5-10 min I am sweating. Given I am moving around and loading stuff, but Im used to climate control places keeping the temp in all their units between 72-75 degrees. And it may be so here, but it doesnt feel like it to me. Other than that it is an excellent company with nice staff and clean property. All in all it is a place that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice and clean place to be able to store their items in.

I needed a unit for a month while buying things for my apartment and it was absolutely perfect for what I needed. Cheap, climate controlled and convenient to get in and out of with a trailer or moving van! I would rent here again if I wasnt moving.

Very nice, clean facility. Lindsey was super nice and incredibly helpful. Even gave me some suggestions about apartments in the area while we were talking about my moving here next year. I was asked if I wanted to look at the unit reserved for me. I was given a little tour of the facility, a little rundown about the property, and shown my unit. They increased price after having our unit for 3 months. We have a larger unit so not easy for us to change locations. They also force you to purchase UFO insurance (basically cover everything but water damage..lame). Do your research and find a better place.

I have used this facility since 2007, several companies ago. I am extremely frustrated that the rates have steadily increased. I understand living costs go up; however, it is unfortunate those with units, are not grandfathered in. I also miss the sales this facility used to host. Being able to have a garage sale onsite, was one of the features that originally sold me on using this facility. Everyone is always kind and courteous and the facilities are always clean, which I do appreciate.

Ive been a customer here for 14 days and have only accessed my unit three times since, all within the past 6 days. The second trip I was in the middle of loading the elevator at 9:30pm Monday night and the power permanently turned off for the entire property. Thankfully I was not in the elevator but now tasked with loading all of my items back up and returning home only to make another trip for the same items at a later date. Upon arriving to store those items at 10:30am 4/14 I find the power off again, doors open and my unit once again inaccessible by elevator.I called management on Tuesday morning and was told they would look into it and get back to me. I never received a return call.Beware of this place unless you have a non climate controlled exterior unit.

Seems so lazy. Been broken for almost 3-4 months now. Get it together....My rent on a 10x25 was 125$, now 1 year later will be almost 170$, terrible!!!Safeguard fee 10$ yet I used to see gates open at night all the time, drifters and homeless used to wander through.24 hour fee,
