Staff and patrons were friendly and prompt. Its a small place and everyone seems to know each other. Pool tables were busy but was still able to play. Smoking outside only but you can take your drinks out with ya. Overall was a nice little dive not to far from home.

Great place! I played pool for the first time in a long time. Had fun hearing all the Kareoke and the drinks were delicious!

They have three pool tables, a dart board, a juke box and some TV screens to watch sports. Nice little quiet bar the night I went.

Mugs and Hugs was great!! The bartenders were awesome and the atmosphere was welcoming. I went on kareoke night which was great. I really had fun. I wouldve given 5 stars but Im not a smoker and the ventilation is limited for it to be a smoking allowed venue. Otherwise great place for good drinks and really nice people.

The parking lot has way to many holes

Excellent bar to hang out at any night of the week. The crowd stays consistent as well as the bartenders. Everyone in this establishment is dedicated to their clients and go above and beyond to ensure things run smoothly. Everyone has their different opinions and may be unhappy with certain things such as music being skipped and certain people in the bar being talked to more, but that is going to happen in ANY establishment and I do not see anything negative about that. This is a well known dive bar that a lot of the same people frequent so while there everyone is going to talk and catch up; that is normal. I’ve never once seen anything very bad or very negative while at Mugs N Jugs and would recommend this establishment to anyone to check out. Leslie, Chanda, Amy, Liz, Mandi and Shelbee are an amazing group of bartenders and deserve all the credit they can get for what they do. Keep it up and keep this bar as amazing as it is.

The bartenders boyfriend/husband was there after some conversation back and forth and tipping very well he made it very apparent that she was there for nothing more than mixing drinks even though my intention was conversation and nothing more he decided to instigate and persists that i leave. I’m typically conversational type but choose to leave to keep the peace as I was leaving i heard the comment that anyone looking to talk to the bartender should find there way to a tna bar struck me as a surprise seeing how I have been to this Several times before I decided to leave. Not knowing what intentions he hadi decided to let well enough alone

We went to this place last night. When we got there no bar tender was in sight. We sat at the bar and about 5 minutes goes by before anyone looking like an employee appeared. After havin a conversation with someone at the end of the bar and getting him ANOTHER drink even though we NO drinks. After he continued his conversation for another 5 minutes I waved my arms to get his attention at which point he put up his index finger indicating wait a minute. He then continued his conversation. A female then showed up behind the bar and also ignored us. After another 5 minutes we just left. If it had been busy, I would have understood. It was not busy on a Saturday night. I can see why.

My favorite bar while I was in college. Everything is sticky. The floor, the chairs, even the beers. The place is a dive but the drinks are cold and cheap. Wouldn’t change a thing. 5 Stars!!

I’m new to Pensacola and I come here on Mondays during the day from time to time and at night for trivia. Amy or Leslie usually work on Monday, I think that’s their names, but today there was a new girl, Shelbie i think? I have to say that I am pretty impressed with her bartending skills and the way that she treats her customers. She is new and using the measuring cups to balance her shots like most new bartenders do and doing an amazing job. Some customers, I guess that are regulars complained about it and she explained the exact shot ounces and very knowledgeable of her pours to them and they understood after she explained the pour amounts. A lot of new bartenders try to bend the rules at places to make the customers approve and she is friendly and very positive in a professional way about how she does her job as a bartender. Thank you for having amazing bartenders like this.

I LOVE Mugs and Jugs but theres a female bartender that just hates me.. I love showing up and seeing how long it takes her to realize Im there and kick me out or call the cops.. Shes a little scorned because she dated all 4 of my brothers..

Feels like a old school biker bar. You can smoke inside and play pool if youd like. Bartender was very friendly. Definitely a local watering hole.

The bartender Carrie i think shes the owners daughter was great nice place to unwind after the day is done. There were a few altercations between patrons but they were handled without incident. Also when I used the mens room the partision fell after I barely tapped it with my elbow and knocked into the toilet and broke the lid they were very cool about it. Id definitely visit the bar again if when Im back in the area

Most of the bartenders are rude, especially the one named Liz (funky looking too). Some are nice. Very limited selection in the liquor store part. Rednecks in the day, college kids at night (especially late night).Same people that run OReillys own this place, so same kind of crowd hang out there.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Drove to the drive thru to purchase alcohol this evening and got ignored completely. Ran over the bell a few times and honked my horn and neither bartender attended to me. Finally after running over the bell a few more times they saw me and have me the motion to hold on (after already being there 10 mind you) and still another 10 minutes of waiting and the two female bartenders never assisting me. Worst service I ever had and they lost a future customer. Horrible parking and not enough to accommodate everyone. Would not recommended this place to any of my friends and family.

Terrible! They let 15 year olds in! Im 18 and didnt even get in because the bouncer doesnt like me and my friends even tho we didnt even do anything! the bouncers are terrible! He IDs only the people he wants to ID! He doesnt ID his friends! This place is terrible!!!
