My go to place for groceries. Store is always clean and inviting. Employees come up and ask if you need assistance instead of us having to hunt one down. They have most of the specialty items I need for some of the dishes I like to make. Bakery is one of the best grocery store bakeries I ever been to. Prices are reasonable as well.

I’m a local vendor here and can tell you that the “behind the scenes” is just as spotless and organized as it is in the actual grocery store. This store is ALWAYS boomin it seems like. The management and staff are always happy to help out if you have any questions about anything. The General Manager,Chad, is always out on the floor making sure all his guests are finding everything they need. This is a great store. I highly recommend it. Management and staff are always quick to help.

As good as any other Publix for people that have more money than common sense. The plus is they do have self checkout.

Love the bakery.the chocolate ganache cakes are as good as I can make without the mess in my own kitchen. And the cheese selection is packed with a variety of cheeses from all over the world even some closer to home. They carry the Boars Head deli meats and cheese as well. Cut flowers a Pharmacy on site. Ive never had a rude or disgruntled employee at either 9mle rd locations

For the most part this was a really great store! It was clean and the employees were all very friendly and helpful! I went into the store with the sole purpose of getting 2 subs for dinner. The deli only had 2 ladies working at the time I came in and it just took so long. I hate even saying anything negative because the ladies were so nice kind and apologetic. It wasnt their fault honestly they were just so understaffed and how things were set up in the area they made the sandwiches was stupid and made things harder. But like I said they were so nice and kind and they talked to me and smiled the whole time(and thats not any kind of embellishment) that they were putting the subs together. The same with any other customers served while I was there. But thats why Im only giving the 4 stars

Aspen was such a great help to me today. She went above and beyond and was so kind. The staff overall is pretty great.The people experience is what keeps me coming back to this store.

Its convenient, I use the liquor store and it usually quick and easy, no hassle or long lines. Friendly people as well

This has become my primary supermarket. Clean, modern facility; excellent customer service from staff (courteous, professional and helpful), and a wide variety of products. They made my day by also having The Wall Street Journal and Barrons newspapers. You locked me in as a customer with that. One star removed from being perfect, as they pipe in over loudspeaker system that face masks are a requirement, yet the store management simply refuses to enforce this requirement. Either its a requirement or it isnt. But a great store overall.

I havent been to this location in a while. Decided to go and shop. Things went great until it was time to leave. My groceries were bagged wrong and as I exited the door my groceries tumbled out my buggy. But there were a few workers that came to my rescue and was very friendly and apologized for the inconvenience and mishap. They went and replaced my item that spilled completely out and checked my others to make sure they were ok.

Nice clean friendly store. Didnt care for the parking lot as the flow was confusing and aggressive. Id shop here if I lived close.

Sadly, the deli service has declined in recent months. I went there this week to pick up a sandwich that I ordered online. It wasnt ready yet, which is fine, but the lady making the sandwich acted like it was a big inconvenience to make it for me. I dont need a guilt trip because someone just has to do their job. She kept looking at me and sighing and even slammed down the knife several times. I was not rude or demanding or anything. I had just asked if it was ready yet and only one time when I arrived. I wont be ordering from here again. This has happened before, when I ordered in-store. Also, both times, there were other employees just standing around chatting behind the deli counter. I think theyre going to lose a lot of business to the new Publix further west on Nine Mile. Im not a picky person, but I dont want to feel guilty for giving a business my money.

One of the cleanest, well organized friendliest stores in Pensacola. Every employee i have ever encountered since shopping at Publix for 15 to 20 yrs now, has always been eager to help, very courteous and do so with a smile. Not treating me as if i was a burden or problem to them

Publix is always great. Their employees are usually more than helpful and very pleasant.

Prices are a little higher but for the accomodations you receive and the excellent service you dont mind paying it.

Always a good store! Cashier was very attentive. Which is so much better than going to stores like Wal-Mart!

This location used to be managed better. Now there is never enough lines opened and I usually bag my own groceries? As management stands in a huddle and swap grocery stories? Its completely gone downhill. Will try new location by navy federal

Staff always polite, but two members of the produce department were just talking for a good 15 minutes,as one of them work.

Edit: I forgot to note that grocery pick up here is notoriously bad. Out of the 4 most recent pick ups, 3 of them were missing items. Always check for your Rotisserie chicken and frozen items. They always leave something out. the Publix on University Parkway is ran a ton better (at least in regards to pick ups) and Ive never had to call to get something corrected.This place has one of the most dysfunctional parking lots in Pensacola. Its way too cramped. The pick up parking was put in the worst spot. They should of just taken the liquor side of the parking lot and used that. Its difficult to get in and out of because so many people are utilizing such a small space for parking and walking. I only go to this one if I can get a super early pick up.

For all you parents out there, they have a little fruit stand that your kid can pick one piece of fruit to eat if they are hungry. I think thats AMAZING because sometimes toddlers get hungry (and then angry) when your shopping. What a wonderful idea!!

As always offers unique spices and ingredients that we have a hard time finding at other grocery stores.

Publix is my favorite grocery store. Always clean and well maintained, employees are always friendly, and quality meat and produce.

This storm may cost a little more than all of the rest of them, but you really do get what you pay for and nothing in town beats theyre awesome deli sandwiches and subs if you want some good tasting pre-made food, like from the salad bar and the deli, then this is the place to go

Wish they could figure out their bogo stuff. Typically find several that I get charged full price. That and lack of decent prices on everyday items laces me with taste. Chicken, ice cream, and icing on their cakes seem all they are worth.

I meant to post this review earlier, before Christmas! Huge thank you to all of the associates at this Publix. The store is always super clean and organized. The staff is incredibly helpful. Big shout out to Michelle in the deli, she sliced some prosciutto perfectly and provided excellent customer service. Its people like Michelle who keep me coming back.

Very unprofessional bakery. We live up north but decided to ha e my granddaughter birthday in florida because her great grandparents couldnt make the trip up. So we ordered a cake on line and paid fir it. Told to pick it up at 9 am. We went around 10 anyways they had bo knowledge of the cake. We showed them the store number and confirmation number and all seemed to be right but still no cake. They finally made one up but we didnt get the one we ordered with the childs decorations or color on it. Very disappointed

Publix is back on not selling fried chicken again.... 2nd day in a row with non available

Friendly, helpful staff. I do wish the self-checkout had hand scanners, as this would speed up the checkout process and make it easier.

Publix are always the best when youre in the south the service is excellent the layout is perfect and all the items are usually in stock 😉

Have A full variety of food including different ethnic ethnicities their meat products are very Good and have a variety of different types including skirt steak, rib eye, filet, etc.

Every other publix I have been to has been great. This Publix I would stay away from asked full pulled pork on my sandwich they weighed out 6 oz of mainly pork fat and juice and call that enough to put on a foot long. Lady was rude and I believe some sort of manager with a power trip. Very disappointed will be waiting and going to my local Publix. Also they all have masks but touch them with there gloves to pull them up and down 🧐

Love Publix, but the Publix on 9 mile has been the worst experience. They close the departments down an hour to an hour in a half early which is unprofessional; especially the seafood department and Deli.It’s very irritating for patrons who work late hours and don’t receive the same service or options as others. I feel rushed because the staff around me is so eager to go home, putting items away and working around me like a WALMART!! It’s suppose to be open until 10PM not 8:30 or 8:45 PM ....I won’t be going back anymore and will advise anyone to shop at a different Publix....

Customer service at the sub station is always terrible.Michelle, one of the sub makers today, was very rude to this gentleman in front of me, unprovoked.The man gently asked for some mozzarella cheese, so she slammed down her knife and snapped, well, I gotta cut that!Her attitude was apparently contagious as well. Because, Agness the other sub maker was visibly upset that the meat I asked for had to be cut as well!Sandwich maker at Publix is not a difficult job, nor is it something that requires extensive knowledge or skill.Be polite!Please correct the attitude in the sub station, it is affecting your business Publix!
