We passed by several times on our way to the beach in Pensacola and happened to check out the area. We were craving coffee and was dying for something to quench our thirst. Plus we needed to sit down cause our puppies were thirsty. The coffees are so delicious. My daughter bought me an iced green tea drink, and my hubby, son and daughter got iced coffee drinks. My daughter told me that they sell olive oils and I was interested to see what they have. They have a wide selection of olive oils and vinaigrettes there. We got to sample some olive oils. Bodacious gave USA sample this infused Basil olive oil. It was delicious. The Italian Mango is to die for. I made bruschetta this past weekend. I gotta tell you that Italian Mango and Basil infused oil was perfect. Theyβre dog friendly and we were able sit outside with our fur babies. Thank you Michele and staff for your recommendations and your southern hospitality charm. We will be back again π₯°π€
We stop here every year and every year we are impressed! The spend tons of money on oils and vinegars and travel with them home. You can taste test. Customer service is always top notch. They fill the bottles of oil and vinegar for you and also pack them great. We love the tuscan herb oil and coconut vinegar. Great to dip bread in and cook. Try a flavor any flavor!
Bob and Tom were amazingly helpful and attentive. We got great recommendations for olive oil and vinegar and spent over an hour talking about flavors, benefits, and life! Exceptional customer service! We will be back:)
Thank you Trinity for helping me find the perfect gift for my Mom and for helping me with beautiful gift wrap. The manager will be hearing a good review of you tomorrow!
The troubadour dining experience at bodacious was well worth the wait and the money the food was delicious the ambiance was wonderful I dont really drink wine so I cant speak about that and then the customer service was top-notch and all the employees including the owners were all wonderful and look like they love doing what theyre doing I would give them a 10-star review if I was allowed.
Great variety of oils and vinegars in a diverse shopping area. The building even has a traveling restaurant that uses the spaces after hours.
Unfortunately they simply didnt want my money. Two women working in Olive Oil/Vinegar section were inattentive; and, when finally acknowledged were quite rude. When we walked out, one followed us to sidewalk and asked if we had given up. Sad given the positive things weve heard about their products. Will not return.
Weβve visited bodacious several times and always found the folks working there helpful and friendly. They have a wide range of olive oils and vinegars. The upstairs kitchen store is well stocked and has some really nice knives and other kitchen accessories. They also offer gift cards which are particularly helpful if you live out of town. We will definitely be going back.Urban Cowgill 2-2021
The best folks. Tasty food! Energizing coffee. Pup friendly! Do you really need anything more?
Excellent coffee and food on Sunday they serve breakfast until noon only during week both breakfast and lunch exellent
The environment is very nice and clean but the food and drinks are both lacking. We got brunch there and both of our entrees were under-seasoned and felt like things we could have easily prepared for ourselves at home. The coffee is okay but there are certainly other places Id choose first before Bodacious for coffee.
Report. Assortment of olive oil, kitchen stuff, and a delightful Cafe. I tried the acai bowl. It was wonderful
I love the kitchen store upstairs and the staff are all rock stars β shout out to manager Susan, Alicja and Blake. When I walk in the door they know exactly what I want. Fromage de Afinois? Oui!! Especially during these difficult times, their smiling faces ( i am sure they are smiling under those masks) always lift my spirits. I usually also get the salted almonds and specialty crackers and a bottle of wine that Susan might be recommending. Their homewares are exquisite. Scan pans wipe off placemats, high quality kitchen gadgets and gifts. A great store and a lovely team.
I had a nice breakfast sandwich. Tasty and quickly prepared!
Definitely A GEMβπβLots of selection on different Olive oils & Vinagrets. The staff is friendly, personable & very knowledgeable β They have a little restaurant. They have a kitchen/wine shop 2nd floor. If you are in the area & like olive oils and/or vintages, This is the place to visit βββ
Upscale coffee shop in downtown pensacola, staff is super friendly. Worth coming here for the aromas that hit you when you walk through the doors.
A very nice coffee shop and eatery. They have very good house-roasted hot coffee as well as crafted types, cappuccino, etc. Atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed-chic. Food is kind of unique, hand crafted salads and raps, not like everywhere else. Breakfast menu is different than lunch and just as unique. They do grits in a way that might turn non-grits people into grits-lovers.
Excellent coffee! The smell of herbal Olive oils is invigorating! Try it. The food choices look great. The atmosphere fits perfectly.
Great coffee, awesome food, fantastic oils/vinegars! My friends and I frequent this shop to grab brunch/lunch and coffee while biking downtown. As for oils and vinegars- so many flavors! You can spend an hour trying them all. They really add a special touch to recipes/meals.
One of my favorite shops in Pensacola. I tell everyone I know to try the dark chocolate balsamic vinegar. They think i am crazy, but you have to try it!
Love the food and in-house coffee! Iβve been here many times and just love the atmosphere and the selection of unique gifts. Very pleased with the service every time Iβve been in.
We love the different olive oils and balsamic vinegars that are available! I love the walnut olive oil and now am trying the almond. I really like the raspberry vinegar, but Ann likes the strawberry. Gather a few good friends, shop, and have lunch at Carmens! You will be glad you did! I love what the Studers are doing for Pensacola!!!!!!!!:)
I have now given up on the Olive. Food is great, service poor. Used to get lunch twice a week or more. Always call ahead to avoid the line and wait. The wait is typically very long, even if not busy. None of the kids working behind the counter have a sense of urgency. None. Tried calling 4 days in the last 2 weeks and phone is never answered, then goes to multiple please continue holding messages and then finally a mailbox that is full. And I called over and over for over an hour each time. Today magically someone answered. Easy order, Turkey Club Wrap. Asked for the pickle on the side since the last 2 times it was left out. Guess what...no pickle. And no thank you when picking up the order. Literally walked up, interrupting 2 associates talking to each other. Girl looked at me and I said pick up order. She tapped the screen and said, here hit this and walked off to get my order. Hit this? The Tip Us screen. No thanks, you have to at least smile to have a chance of a tip. Better yet, get rid of that silly screen and pay your folks more so you can attract quality associates that smile and work faster. She handed me my order with out a word. Really stinks because the food is very good at the Olive. Having eaten at the Olive for over a year, I have yet to be Wowd even one time. Super slow, orders wrong often, no one having fun that works there. And trying to find a seat anywhere near lunch is impossible due to people camping out with laptops, which is why I started getting my lunch to go. Guess I am now hitting the Taco cart more often. /rant
Bodacious Olive is the first olive oil/vinegar bistro Ive been in. It is very nicely set up. You can sample any or all of their multitude of products. They have vinegar from this year to 18 years aged. Their olive oil selection is amazing. They are located inside Bodacious Brew. The prices are not horrible, but pretty much what you would expect in a bistro. Felt a tiny bit pressured to buy, but the sales clerk left me alone to go to another customer.
What a fun place. Ive never seen so many different kinds of Olive oil. Very knowledgeable staff
Love the olive shop. Folks here were very helpful and encouraged us to sample more than I would have otherwise. :-)
Absolutely amazing variety of excellent oils and vinegars, from Tuscan Infused to Truffle, to fruity balsamics and more!I highly recommend this place. We have Harissa, Black Truffle, and Tuscan oils and use them all the time! An excellent touch to bring a dish from ok to amazing. I also have a fig Balsamic, which is simply delicious.Inside, you can taste and try all of their oils, and definitely do!
Ive had the pleasure of shopping there twice in the past month...what a wonderful place! Their selection is the best Ive seen by far. I was blown away by the selections available. Thank you for your wonderful shop and GREAT customer service.
This place really surprised me. I went in because, honestly, I wanted to know how you could have an entire store dedicated to just olive oil. The inside has a great design and atmosphere. There are dozens of olive oil types and about a 20 or so types of balsamic. You can try any of these with little pieces of bread and sample cups. The service was attentive and helpful. The prices werent terrible- its about 11 bucks for a 10 oz bottle of great olive oil. It makes for a great gift or just a cool place to check out.
The best olive oils and balsamics I can find in the south!
A great addition to the downtown Pensacola landscape. Their selection of olive oils and vinegars is impressively vast and wonderfully presented. Caring and attentive service seems to be the standard. The huge selection of products makes for great gift ideas.
Wonderful experience today, as busy as they were so close to Christmas, everything ran so smoothly. If I worked there I would have been in a panic π³ employeeβs Knowledgeable and so friendly β€οΈ Iβll be back.
We decided to have breakfast here right before heading back Memphis since the Ruby Slipper was crowded and there was a 45 min wait. I had the breakfast wrap with bacon, egg, cheese and potatoes. It was very good. Somehow my fiances order was mixed up and all of his food wasnt rung up but the waitress did fix his order and brought his food out quickly and did not charge for the items left off of the ticket. However he found hair in his food halfway through the meal. The food was good and so was the service but the cooks need to wear hair nets.
Great place! Huge selection of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and all of the employees are cheerful and willing to help. Its a bit pricey, but not too bad.
The food was bland and most of the clerks had no idea what was really in the food. For example, I asked about their amazing Bo grits which is supposed to a house specialty and inquired about where the grits actually came from. No-one seemed to know, until someone behind the counter said, I think they are Red Hill something???... Anyway a picture of a red guy on the front.... I was disappointed in the lack of organic choices on the menu, so I broke my diet. I was dissatisfied because what I got was bland and tasteless. The coffee was okay though, although probably not organic, mold free or certified rain forest alliance or anything special... just plain coffee. Needless to say, although we enjoyed the hip vibe and atmosphere we will not be going back.
We love shopping here, the staff is so friendly and helpful. It is a awesome place to find a different gift that will bring many OOHs and AHHs from the receiver. We highly recommend any of the Bodacious Shops!
Yum! I love being able to sample all the yummy oils and balsamic vinegar.
One of my favs in Pensacola! Great food, service, and atmosphere...
Stopped in today just killing time. Tom was so helpful I ended up buying a bottle of the oil as a gift and will definitely be returning. Great customer service!
Chill atmosphere and good coffee and tea. But the olive oil is expensive and you cant bring the bottle back for refills.
I got the vegetarian wrap and it was awful. There was no flavor and the ingredients are very misleading. My coworkers got the grit bowl and were also disappointed. I would not waste a penny at this place.
Love the olive, great atmosphere, try the oil and balsamic vinegar and so chopped has some great salads
I love this place with every bone in my body! The huge variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars are out of this world! The also sell local honey and other local items. Connected to a fabulous cafΓ© and salad bar!Be careful though, it can be pricy at times.
This place is very cool. I wish they had bread to sample the oils with. The balsamic vinegars are amazing.
The Coffee is good. For our first visit I wasnt impressed. Not bad, just not very good food.
We had a list of things we wanted to replenish our pantry with and were interested in trying some new things. Kaelee was most helpful and stuck with us until the end! Good job!
Everything was so good. Its a dangerous place to visit if youre trying not to fall in love with all the flavors and have to buy several.
Such a fun specialty store! We love trying the unique oils and vinegars.
After experiencing your delicious breakfasts for so many years - youve noW gotten popular, expanded and now the food is AWFUL the service is rude and your cook, Jim, could care less when I explained the difference of his food experience from beginning to now - all he wanted was to defend himself and his cooking. After a previously bad experience (cold eggs, burnt toast, no jam pods, skimpy fruit, etc. coffee good ) swore I would not return,--however friend and I gave you another chance - she and I have been thru this together from day one when it was sooo good - BUT yesterday the experience & food was worse,, I could not eat my quiche, it tasted like powdered eggs, frozen and then put in microwave...the fruit cup was miserable and the once ummy big portion of grits was skimmpy and way undercooked - grainey..friend agreed .. We presented all this to Jim the cook and he knows my friend and I have been frequent guests,,, he just defended himself and his cooking, never apoligized, Oh Im sorry, well make it good... I returned most of my food to him.....NEVER AGAIN !!!OH and now large coffe has to come in a paper cup!!!
Just live this place and have to visit every time I am in town. The butter olive oil is my favorite for sauteing. They have a good website, too.
Staff is great. Products are great
They have a great assortment of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They come in glass bottles which you can return to the store for a discount. #zerowaste
Fun experience to sample all the olive oil and balsamic vinegars.
Whether youre an experienced chef looking for new ingredients to improve your dishes or you just stumbled in to see what the commotion was all about, the employees can point you in the right direction and answer any and all questions about their huge variety of olive oils and balsamics. The customer service is on point. Ask about their pasta and bread, too!
Overly long wait. Finally get to counter, 40 minute wait for food...itβs good, but this has been the trend here the last few times. Try the Angelino though.
Great food and nice wine tasting upstairs.
Great selections of quality olive oil and balsamic vinegars.
The Vermont Maple balsamic vinegar and Coconut balsamic vinegar are amazing! Wines are awesome too! Diggerent flavors for Rose slushies. Friendly and helpful staff.
Amazing experience as always. Love
It was a bit of a foodie heaven. I love all the olive oil and balsamic vinegar they have
The best food and the best service....always a great place up stairs to sit and enjoy the day
Love this place. Have yet to get anything that I didnt just love.
Fruit, nut and cheese salad is addictive.
Everything about this place is fabulous... food, coffee, service..
Love them thick olives
This is my new favorite place to shop. Wow. Amazing.
Awesome coffee n brunch
Best food and coffee. Plenty of seating, mostly outside.
Amazing place. Its a restaurant but has an adjacent store that sells a myriad of olive oils and balsamic vinegars that are available for tasting. I went for the breakfast yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Its a cafe style area that sells coffee, expresso, quiche, crossiant sandwiches, wraps, toast, cookies, and more. I got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with a side of grits to go. My meal was ready within minutes. Large portion sizes too. The crossiant was fully loaded. The grits were enough for 2 servings. Everything was really tasty. The grits were the best Ive had in a long time, instant gratification when your taste buds got some of them. Super creamy with actual corn and a slight cheese flavor. I LOVED them. The crossiant was very good as well. I think there was mushrooms in the scrambled eggs. Im definitely willing to try other items on the menu. The cafe had limited seating. It had 1 tv. They did offer military discount.
Great. Very accomodating.
Great products and customer service.
Great helpful staff. Wonderful selection of oils and vinegars.
Great Experience!!! Everyone was nice and helpful..
