Josh S was able to get the system up and running quickly and made sure I understood what the problem was so I could easily fix it if something happens to the network connection again. He also very patient waiting for me to get to the appointment since I ran out of gas just as I was getting home. He went above and beyond by helping me get that situation taken care of as well. Josh is the man, seriously! He came out to reset my security system after the previous occupant moved out. Right off the bat we didn’t have the master code to the system and the previous occupant couldn’t remember what it was. Where normally this would make resetting impossible, Josh spent more than extra time working every possible solution, and when that didn’t work he miraculously guessed the pin code and was able to return the system to default and get me set up. There were also problems with the motion detectors on the doors and he was able to Work those out as well. He showed me how to set everything up, answered all my questions, and gave me detailed advice on the best security monitoring options available. He was super friendly with my daughter and pets and I would 100% recommend him!

On no less then two occasions, in order to arrange for a technician, I had to call and leave messages three or more times to get a call from a technician to schedule a service. Most recently, the office clerk did not possess the knowledge to discuss the simplest aspects of my problem...when two techs arrived, they stated they were not familiar with the DVR that their company (AVS) had provided and installed four years earlier. The previous visit (not the most recent) their technicians took a full day and a half to diagnose a problem caused by a wifi amplifier and of course we had to pull the entire entertainment center out for this problem to be diagnosed external to the location of the DVR entertainment center.

We wanted to add a few more cameras to our existing security system through AVS, we called and were able to get an appointment that worked with our schedule. Steven and Matthew came out; they were right on time. They worked promptly and efficiently. Steven asked for my opinion on where I would like the cameras in my house. I liked that because they didnt just put them out in the middle of the ceiling, they were able to hide them in my tray ceilings. You dont even notice them. They were very professional, and they cleaned up their mess when they left.

Awesome experience with AVS System Inc. This company installed a CCTV system in my house just recently, and I couldnt be happier with the result. Mr Jeff Martin, the owner, is easy to work with. He was very responsive to my request for a price quote by showing up the same day to survey my property when I called his office. The work was done promptly the following week; thanks to Christina who did the scheduling. Mike and Jerry, the two techs assigned to do the installation arrived on time. They both did an outstanding job mounting the cameras to their proper locations, connecting them to the DVR, adjusting each of the cameras positions for proper area coverage, and testing the system for proper operation. Its hard for me to believe how Mike was able to crawl in the attics tight space, fished the end of the cables from the cameras outside and then made the cable routing; but he did it. Mike and Jerry are truly professionals in their line of work. And they made sure the place inside the house where they made a mess was cleaned up before they left. This company never ceases to amaze me. Whenever I call them with a problem, it is taken care of immediately. Mike came out today to do some work and while in the attic, he noticed an issue with one of our air conditioning ducts. Not only did he tell me about it, he went out of his way to make sure I saw the exact issue. I transferred my mothers service to AVS several years ago because ADT kept raising their prices. I also did not want to be locked into another long contract. AVS easily met my needs and expectations, with lower prices and no contract required. Because of this system, and the peace of mind it provided me, my mother was able to remain in her own home for several months longer than we could have hoped for. During that time, she had to rely on her emergency alarm FOB for help, after she fell and dislocated her hip. Without it she would have had to lay on the floor, in severe pain for hours. Thanks to the professionals at AVS systems, we were contacted immediately and emergency responders were dispatched in minutes. Sadly this scenario was repeated four times (with the same professional response from AVS) until she had to finally move in with us. Needless to say, we transferred the service to our home because of our complete faith in them and their terrific track record. Trust me, there is none better! I highly recommend them and credit them with saving my elderly mothers life on more than one occasion.

Speakers blown... you would think that this would NOT be a 5-star review, but it is. I had an old receiver (30 years old... they used to make things to last back then) and AVS hooked up outdoor speakers to it. Well, apparently, back in the olden days, amplifiers were sold separately and my old receiver blew my speakers. Fish came out and listened to Dr. Dre and Eminem with me before we could identify the speakers were, in fact, blown. No problem, he said. He removed the speakers and two weeks later, Fish was back hooking up my new speakers and showing me how to use my new and improved ONKYO system (with a built-in amplifier and Bluetooth (that didnt exist 30 years ago) so as not to blow the new speakers). Five-star service, for sure. Friendly, knowledgeable and fun to talk with. All around great experience with AVS who stood behind their product, which was made even better by the one and only Fish.

My wife and I have used AVS in our business for more than 5 years. We are very satisfied with the product and the service. We called them as well as ADT, after we were robbed. ADT was not clear on what we were getting for their price. AVS gave us a fair price, explained it all, and did an excellent job setting us up. When we expanded we called them again and they continued their great service. We have a child care center, and their technicians were awesome around the children. We do have monthly service, and they have never asked for a contract. With AVS you are buying local witch is also a plus.

AVS wired and set up a home theater in our newly constructed Florida/TV room.Ive waited a few months to actually live in the room before posting our review. As it turns out, I couldve posted long ago. Its been a terrific experience from the start. We could not be happier with the work and the results.AVS installed our speakers and wired our TV and audio into a new construction on our house. Worked with our contractors schedule, beautifully (and that was frequently changing).Israel Fisher (but hell always be Fish it us) is a gem. He was a joy to work with. And, he was ready with sage advice when we needed it; he offered a few suggestions on things we had not considered.For example, my beloved, but old, Pioneer Elite receiver did not have sufficient HDMI outputs for what we wanted to do. Fish recommended a specific Denon model as a replacement (AVR-X1400H). He said it would be plenty for our room. I did some background on that receiver, and some other Denons (including a newer, more expensive model, that I thought might be better), and checked with my electronics expert brother-in-law, who told me Fishs recommendation was definitely the best option for us. I wouldve been wasting my money on the pricier model.Fish and his crew did a terrific job installing it. There were some construction obstructions they deftly worked around. The ceiling and wall-installed speakers and hidden wires all look very clean and the sound is spectacular.Fish also suggested running our wiring out towards the backyard pool, in the event we add outdoor speakers (which we had always intended to do). So those wires were installed and hidden during the construction, saving us a tougher job later. We will call AVS when its time to add the outdoor speakers, and we hope and trust they will send Fish to do the job.Then, well all sit out by the pool, crank up The Ramones, and sip Mai Tais. (Hope Fish likes The Ramones). (And Mai Tais).

I do not recommend this business for many reasons. I called to receive an estimate on a project, only to find that the stipulations for contracts are 5 years. I work in the military and do not know if I will be in the area for 5 years. ADT has better set up fees and monthly monitoring, and you do not have to sign a contract! AVS was operating without a business license for a time, according to the records online. I just felt more comfortable going with ADT. The people are much more easy to work with and no manager I dealt with was arrogant.
