Called for appt. and the tech was out the next morning about 9:30. Which was good since the window for the tech to show was between 9-12am. A broken spring had to be replaced, and the tech finished in about 30 min. When I requested repair, I was not asked the brand of the door or size of the garage door I have. I dont know if springs are all universal so I dont know if the size is correct. I wasnt here for the install or to ask questions. My wife was at home for the work to be done. Overall the service was very good. I can not say if the price was reasonable since I did not price shop. Although I went on reviews, and that this company is accredited with the BBB and has an A+ rating with no customer complaints.

UPDATE - the owner of Overhead Door called me after seeing my review. We scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. Jamie came out this morning, resolved all issues with the door and I was so pleased with his response to my issues, that I ended up buying new rollers for the door. Great to see a local company with great customer service that resolves issues quickly and to the customers satisfaction. I will use Overhead Door again for any future issues.Garage door trim was damaged while installing a conversion kit for new springs (the tech inserted a crowbar to retrieve the cables that had gotten stuck between the door and the door frame). Several attempts were made to finally get the correct (I hope) springs for the garage door. Was last job of day for tech and maybe he was tired, but in my opinion, it was a mediocre job, and not what I expected from a 5 star rated company. Garage door now makes loud sound when opening, which it wasn’t doing before. I also noted that the cables are not wrapped tightly onto the drum.I haven’t had a chance to call the company to have them resolve the issues, but am hopeful that they will send our a different individual to fix it up right.

My technician, Ryan, did a superb job fixing the mistakes my builder made in the installation of my garage door opener. He pointed out and explained each issue with my door and quickly and expertly aligned, adjusted, lubricated, and tested and retested it before leaving. Im very confident that I will have no further issues with the operation of my door.

First off I would like to start by saying thank you to Jamie and his staff at over head doors. Ive had past experiences where when something was wrong and needed service for an appliance instead of any help over the phone they just immediately sent someone out. The meet and greet of this gentleman that came to look at my issue took longer than the work he did. Literally he turned a wrench a quarter of a turn and the problem was solved. 3 seconds of work for 60.00. I felt I was taken advantage of. Where Im going with this is when I called about my issue with my door the receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave advice and suggestions to try before just sending someone out. Needless to say her options didnt work and we had to have someone come out. They were prompt on there schedule and also allowed me to ask questions as they did the work for my future reference. This is a key thing with me. When they left I felt well taken care of and a little more knowledgeable on how the door mechanics actually work.. I would like to thank Overhead Door & operator for their fantastic service. Ive been fighting my garage door for quite some time now and I should have called them long ago. My original issue was sensor related. It had gotten so bad that we rarely used the door. My wife finally talked me in to making the the call. The Overhead tech showed up a few minutes ahead of schedule and had my issue fixed in no time. He then made a few adjustments to my door and recommended roller replacement. I was apprehensive at first but Im so glad I took his advice. The adjustments, new rollers and proper lubrication had my door in perfect working order. It works better than when it was brand new. Awakened at 5:30 A.M. on Tuesday morning, pushed the door opener switch.. surprise.. flashing lights and knocking noise.. Had an appointment, had to depart.. Returned home in the afternoon.. checked my telephone book.. Found Overhead Door.. ad appealed to me.. called the Crestview number.. talked with a lady.. she scheduled a repairman for the next morning.. Repairman, Jamie, as scheduled, came.. Hit the door switch, watched the blinking lights.. Said, I have it.. out to the truck, had the door working in less than 20-30 minutes.. That included switching the new logic board from the new end plate to the original end plate (due to design change) (old door).. Yes.. Good company. Our garage door was stuck half closed/open and damaged by someone not finding the push button and disconnecting from the electric opening track and damaging it. We were stuck with both cars in the garage., early evening.Called Overhead Door and they had someone at our house by 8:00 the next morning. Worker was professional, quick and knowledgeable. Replace some damaged parts, lubricated all moving parts and finished in 20 minutes. Great job and charged a surprisingly small amount.
