Doors are a big improvement. They look nice.The sun can be shining on the outside of the door but the inside will be room temperature.The fine details were disappointing.Plugs not installed flush or painted a mating color.Screws missing from hinges. Mechanisms not installed flush.Previous experience with Folkers was excellent

Our back door had been leaking for over a year. We had Folkers install a sliding door in place of our old French doors and we are so glad we chose Folkers. The new slider looks great, functions great and best of all doesnt leak! Very professional, outstanding work and great customer service!

Extremely pleased with my Folkers experience. The whole process was easy and everyone showed up exactly when they said they would every step of the way. Salesman was plenty nice, had lots of info and emailed a quote immediately. Problem was he got several things wrong, such as the type of windows. Called, he apologized and promised a requote. Emailed that with similar issues. Hard to have much confidence in the company. I have no desire to hire the folks with such conflicts on the front end. Easy to predict a bad outcome.

Outstanding workmanship and easy personnel process. Highly recommend Folkers, had the entire house installed with storm windows and doors. They look wonderful and the install was a breeze. One door has a defect from the manufacturer and Folkers made sure it was corrected with no fuse and in quick time. Can say enough on good things about them. We decided to use Folkers for patio door replacement, as we had used them many years ago with great service. We also wanted to use a local business. We now have a beautiful door, installation was professional. We had some communication issues, including failing to notify us they would not be here to install (Hurricane Sally was coming). We assumed they werent. It took several weeks to get the contract signed. Installation took 14 weeks. We needed to replace a rotten door, wanted to get done before hurricane season. First call to them was in May. Installation was late September. We did not feel our installation was a priority to them. We probably will not use them again in the future.

In November 2013 we moved in to our new home that was in need of a few upgrades (master bathroom window and french front doors). Both were costly purchases due to customization, hurricane considerations and aesthetics. We were very happy with our relationship with Folkers at every stage. Salesman, workman, owners, etc were very helpful and friendly with no pressure. The work crews were timely, tidy and friendly. Shortly after installing the french doors, one glass pane developed a crack. The door was replaced immediately with no hassles and no cost.Moving forward to today, the window and french doors are still beautiful and function perfectly in our salty, windy environment.We were delighted with our experience at Folkers Windows.

I chose Folkers because they were having a sale. I knew very little about the company at that point so it was a bit of a leap of faith. They proved to be very good. The windows were installed at my beach house. They are very high quality and look great! The installers were very professional, courteous and reliable. They took time to demonstrate all of the features of the windows. I am very pleased with Folkers and I would use them again.

I ordered and paid the customary half of my Folders contract the last week of July, 2020. The contract stipulated the impact glass door, and two sets of windows would be installed within 12-16 weeks or mid- October to early November. After sending multiple emails and unreturned phone calls, I was forced to place a plea on Facebook in hopes that it would get someones attention to have my windows and doors installed. My windows were finally installed mid December. I was grateful until two days later when two upstairs replacement windows leaked following a typical rain storm and subsequently failed county inspection for not having child locks installed on the upstairs windows the same day. Given my experience with Folkers, I refused to make the final payment until these items were mitigated. The leaking brand new windows were repaired within a week, but no child locks were installed. I waited until March for the next appointment and no one showed. I finally rescheduled with Folkers in May 2021 (due to my schedule). The guy they sent incorrectly installed the first set on locks and had to remove them upon my inspection and hand cut vinyl to shim the locks. Truly a very trying and difficult experience. The one bright spot that I would like to note is the professionalism displayed by the scheduler/manager of the installers. A.P. was the only reason this ever got completed. I would strongly discourage anyone from utilizing Folkers.

Their installation team was awesome! I have nothing but praise for their work. The office staff, not so much. We ordered the window replacement very early this year and they never called. I called several times and on the second call the same response was given. That was they were waiting on two Windows to arrive. After explaining that to them, things moved quicker.I recommend this company as the windows are amazing, you just need to keep in touch with the office staff as they will not.

My Folkers experience with a 13 window replacement.I have held off writing my review of this company since Junes install because anyone can put in a good looking vinyl window whats most important is product quality. When it comes to upgrading your home to impact resistant hurricane rated windows the real test was a hurricane.Hurricane Sally ripped through Pensacola and Folkers windows were such a high quality window that I could barely even hear the storm through the triple pane window. I slept the whole night away never even hearing the pop and cracks of trees falling all around my home, luckily nothing hit my house.I am not one to loudly endorse a company but for the values the professionalism and the quality of product and service Folkers is the only viable company in the Pensacola area to consider.

Last fall (2020), my elderly mother had Folkers Window Company replace 15 windows in her home not a small or inexpensive undertaking.Since the original quote, we have had issues with the business end of Folkers. First, they did not stand by their original quote. They claimed there was a Problem with what they had first quoted, and needed to add $50ish to each window to correct the quote. They claimed their agent was let go for his mistake. We understand mistakes happen, but that was a fairly large mistake that we had to pay for to get the windows. We could have looked for another company, but with our limited time to help mom and her age we did not, and so continued with Folkers. After many months of waiting, we got our windows installed, and were happy with job. Since then we have noticed a 1 single sash or window panel is not performing like the other 29 in the house. It has a notable different temperature than its lower half and it gets heavy condensation on it. Ive call Folkers Windows company twice to have someone address the issue. I spoke to 2 different people in the office, and both times they said they work refer the issue to someone else and they would be contacting me. Over the course of several weeks, I still have not received a call.It was my understanding that these windows were to have a life time warrantee. What is the use if they won’t even respond to the issue for a window that has failed in less than a years time?

Poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and find another window company.Spoke with sales rep from manufacturer. Price of door $3600 and includes screen door and track. The $4000 price charged by Folkers did not include screen or track. BUYER BEWARE of quoted prices from Folkerrs..... Weather strip that was finally removed and should have not been there was for the screen doors that were not provided. The demands were clearly stated to office manager the day after installation. They were to remove weather strip, provide white powder coated screws to replace visible stainless screws on inside and outside of door. The trim was not installed correctly and after a week of requests it was fixed correctly. After a few days of use the door locks did NOT work and once again after several requests the locks were properly installed. These issues could have been easily addressed, instead many requests had to be made for proper installation. No added parts requested only the track for screen door which according to manufacturer should have been provided and installed. payment was held until all issues were addressed as requested. If payment was not withheld I am confident issues would not have been addressed.Maufacturer does quote prices to honest contractors. The lock was neither manipulated or abused, just installed incorrectly that is why it failed after only a few days of use. To insinuate this about a customer who spent $8000 with you gives all customers a clear understanding about your customer service. Furthermore the doors are under warranty and lock should be fixed without question or insult. Customer service starts at the top. Terms were never violated as the issues could have been easily addressed the day of installation. Once they were finally addressed cash was paid immediately to repairman. Aesthetics are what we pay for when paying $8000 for doors. We do expect them to lock properly installed and not have 10 stainless screw heads visible on a white door. If screens were not to be included in price their should have been a reduction and weather stripping for screens not installed.POOR INSTALLATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Great experience with Folkers for a whole-house window replacement. Sales knew the product and process inside and out and were clear and upfront about everything to expect, and had a great price on our windows. Our windows were measured, ordered, and delivered in the expected time frame and the work crew was friendly, professional, and efficient - it was neat to watch them work, and they completed 10 windows in a four-bedroom house in one day. They even followed up to replace a screw cover that fell out, and scheduled our inspection with the county to close out the permit. Locally-owned small business staffed by experienced professionals -- Highly recommend Folkers to anyone in NW FL!

We replaced a double entry door for one of our patios. The installation took longer than expected because the installer wasnt made aware that our foundation is ICF (Insulated Concrete Foundation). We explicitly mentioned this to the salesman. The door is great, works well and has low E glass with no jail bars like the old one. The door should last as long as the house. Two downsides: We waited for months after the order to get the door and we feel it was a little expensive. Be prepared when you do your shopping, especially if you have the in-home experience. Make sure you tell the salesperson all of your requirements and they take note. The installers were professional and, as expected, did a thorough job on the install. We would recommend Folkers, but be prepared to wait awhile.

***EDITING review due to very bad caulking! Once it dried we realized how terrible it looks. Ive even compared to caulking on other peoples windows. This is NOT acceptable. I will update my review once they resolve this issue. Windows are beautiful....caulking really ruins the appearance!Charlie and his associate installer were friendly, knowledgeable and have a great work ethic! Seem to truly care about quality work and their customer.

Folkers salesman was courteous, knowledgeable and returned calls. Installers were professional, friendly, hard working, punctual and careful not to harm my home or landscape, they cleaned up all construction waste. Windows are beautiful, quality and exceed the local impact and efficiency requirements. The warranty is better than any other company I got researched. I look forward to saving energy and already enjoy the sound reduction, beauty and easy functionality. I will not hesitate to recommend Folkers to family, friends and neighbors.

I called Hilton to provide me with a quote and he came out the same day, within a couple of hours. I shopped around with other companies and decided to use Folkers based off of the quality of the windows and the fact that they have their own service department. If you have a problem, they don’t refer you to the window company to handle it yourself. The windows turned out great!!

We had 17 upstairs 200 mph storm windows installed after exceeding our tolerance for putting up the storm shutters. We solicited bids from 3 companies. Darren Dowler, the Folkers salesman, set our expectations high and demonstrated superior knowledge of the products and patience with our endless questions. There was a Covid delay while waiting on the manufacturing of our windows but he warned us! The installation process included 3 odd windows including an eyebrow, hexagon and very large picture being installed in an ICF house. The measurements were perfect. Michael and Jay, the installers, were magnificent. Friendly, knowledgeable and perfectionists at their craft. They were on time both days and left nothing behind for us to clean up. This company is impressive and every team member we came into contact with was welcoming and responsive and earned our future loyalty to Folkers in Pensacola.

We have done business with Folkers since the 1990’s. They have ALWAYS been amazing and after moving here in 2007, we don’t even shop around for work in their field. We simply call Folkers. IF this last major purchase (around 15k) was our first experience with the company, it would have been the last. The order was placed in November ~ 3 new garage doors and 3 new entry doors. The work was finally finished about a month ago. Installers were awesome ~ none of the ridiculous delays were Covid related. WE had to initiate virtually every aspect of the completion process. As valued customers (or so we thought) I think we expected more. The $300 credit Kip offered....was a bit of a disappointing surprise. That was Folkers solution. Office staff fielding my calls were ALWAYS very courteous. We simply felt 8 months for a relatively simple order (because they have already replaced every single window and other exterior doors in this home) without communication - better discounting- anything from either Kip, our rep, or ?? is inexcusable for a business such as Folkers. Very disappointing experience. We hope this is not their new customer service approach.

The workers where on time and very professional. The windows where installed in a timely manor. The sales person was very knowledgeable on the process and about the windows, what I didn’t like about the process is they didn’t explain the types and styles of window for instance they never told us about frosted glass for the bathroom so we have a clear window in our bathroom. When it is your first time purchasing windows you don’t think about little things like that.

Folkers is my go to company for all windows, doors, and now for future bath upgrades. I have never been treated so well by such wonderful people. They installed all new hurricane widows and one new hurricane door. Everyone at Folkers from the owner to the sales manager to the office folks and down to the installers were just wonderful. OK. So you can get great products and installation from Folkers. But here is the key: the owner and sales manager are men of great honesty and integrity. There was an issue with the job regarding a promise the salesman made to my wife. It was not in writing in the contract. The owner and sales manager made everything right even though they were under no obligation to do so--all based on what their salesman verbally told us. You just dont get better folks to deal with than that. Honesty and integrity are not abundant in the contracting/construction arena, but they are at Folkers. Note that I do not give praise easy. Folders earned every word of my review..

He said their work was of high quality and that they were a local company that had been in business for many years and was quite reliable. He was correct, I was able to get a quick response and estimate by Folkers . Even though they were busy, I got the windows installed and job done before the date quoted. I chose Folkers Window Company to install hurricane impact sliding glass door (1) and windows (8) on my home. The salesman, Brian Samay, was on time to our appointment, had samples on hand, and answered all my questions. Compared with 3 others estimates on similar specs, Folkers was $4,000 less expensive.Understandably, with this years hurricane season and Covid-19, it took a while for the windows to be custom manufactured and delivered. Further, our estimated installation date of 6-8 weeks was pushed back to mid-November, but a cancellation this week by another customer allowed our installation to proceed.Charlie and Tyler were on time, dressed in company polo shirts, polite yet friendly, and professional throughout the installation that took 2 days. The installation went smoothly, they finished the back of the house the first day, and finished the front of the housethe second day. Charlie even put up black out curtains on one rear window (that is above and beyond what their duties were) that my wife had been asking I do but that I had been putting off as I performed other renovations on our 1970s house we purchased a year ago.Charlie and Tyler were focused as they quickly performed their work, cleaning as they went from room to room, and upon completion, I found only a couple of spots that needed some caulk, no major problems. That is craftsmanship you dont see much of anymore. The door and windows look great, both from outside and inside the house. The view is 100% better over the cloudy double-paned leaky windows that were original to the house. The noise from outside is noticeably reduced, and solar heat gain while standing in front of the sliding glass door with southern exposure is also greatly reduced.In all, great service from start to finish, and great products.

Communication was lacking. Installation went very well. In response to the owner regarding my feedback, of course Linda and Anisha would not want to put in the file how they each threw one another under the bus. I do have a log of that if you are interested. We even said we understood about Covid and storms etc, and we were willing to be put back but all we wanted was an approximate date. It took another 10 days before I finally called yet again and I should not have had to make a call. If someone in the office would just tell the customer You are about 2 months out I would have been happy to hear that. My expectations were not set. That being said, Anthony and Logan were both effecient and polite and did a great job on the install and clean up.

We hired Folkers to upgrade our doors and windows to hurricane rating. They were outstanding to work with! Hilton, their sales person, spent time explaining the various options and their products specifications. They kept me informed on the manufacturing process and scheded the time for installation, adjusting when hurricane Sally and Zeta came through (we wish we had their windows on before those storms since Sally and Zeta heavily damaged our existing storm shutters). Their crew was very professional during installation. We have neighbours who used another local window company and they complained about the amount of garbage left and damage to their house - with Folkers they cleaned everything up and protected our house to ensure there was no damage. At the end Anthony walked me through an inspection to ensure the work was done to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Folkers for any door or window work!

They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it and no surprises during the entire process. If you need replacement windows, hire this company! Folkers did two projects for me after I moved into my new 24 year old house. I thought i needed new window - but they informed me that I needed new glass in the several that had broken seals. First estimate I got from another company was $5,000. Folkers charged $1,500. They also replaced my double front doors with glass doors. The door vendor sent a malfunctioning door. Folkers got it replaced, no charge to me. It took several weeks, and I believe that Folkers called that vendor every day for several weeks! Their people are professional, personable and prompt.

Mike and Logan did great job installing French door off master bedroom. Original frame was not even square but they installed and made adjustments as needed to make sure new door was square and operated smoothly. They also provided instructions on scheduling installation inspection. Folkers made it easy. Many thanks.

Third time using Folkers, new windows installed in the whole house, windows came in about 8 weeks installation was going well, when one window would not open correctly, manufacture had to come out and measure the window another 7 weeks, finally the window fits perfectly, from start to finish it was 5 months. Things happen, but it was worth the wait, all the people I have come in contact with at Folkers have been polite and courteous, would not hesitate to use them again.

Great company and great product. We couldnt be happier with our new windows. They were very prompt on installation day and worked really hard to get it all done in one day. They were very professional and helpful with moving things out of the way and removing blinds that were in the way. I was most impressed with how well the crew worked together. Three guys who were very courteous to each other and worked extremely well together. No fighting or harsh words to each other. It was a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

The husband/wife team were punctual, efficient and very conscientious. They were very polite and answered our questions. They did an OUTSTANDING job! I love the fact that the windows are tinted and open in for ease of cleaning.

We recently had impact resistant windows put in our house. The installers, Laprell, Mark, Sean, and one other(I can’t remember his name) did a fabulous job with our windows. They were very neat, tidy and detail oriented with their work. Folkers closed in our back porch 15 years ago which we have loved so much though the years. Recently the hinges on the door going to the outside rusted out and needed replacement. I called them and spoke with Linda and she was able to pull up the original plans and find out what we needed. It took a while for the hinges to be ordered and then get them installed, but it worked really well. The two guys that came to install did a great job.

Folkers gave me a fair quote for my new windows. The installation went great. The windows are beautiful!! The installers were very professional!! I totally recommend Folkers to anyone who wants new beautiful windows at a fair price.

Installers were on time to replace 2 exterior doors units, were careful to remove old doors and put in the new ones, properly sealed, caulked, touched up with paint as needed, replaced door knobs and locks securely ensuring keys worked. No drafts, no gaps, doors close easily. Left premises clean and hauled away old doors. Answered questions, polite, efficient workmen. Very pleased with results. Glad we chose Folkers.

I had my whole houses windows replace with Folkers 16 years ago. One of the windows ballast (springs ) just failed so I called Folkers and requested a repair. They told me THEIR supplier of my windows went out of business and they took no responsibility for repair or replacement. They offered to replace the one window for $1346.00. They also told me I was on my own to find someone willing to repair it as they said it was not their problem. So much for customer service.

The best window and door company. Had 13 impact windows installed. Completely stress free from estimate to install, the installers were professional and courteous, they cleaned as they went, 5 hours from start to finish, true craftmanship. Low e windows have made a noticeable difference in my electric bill and no more plywood during storms now. Thank you Folkers!

Everything went extremely well. The door had to be custom made to fit the opening. We were asked what features we wanted in the door and the salesperson inquired about items we had not even thought about. Installation was very professional and thorough. Folkers did all of the legwork also in acquiring the work permit which was quickly signed off on when the inspector reviewed the work. Awesome stuff! We paid more for the service and quality; however, it was well worth the money spent.
