The best little coffee shop I’ve ever been to in Pensacola — & I’ve lived here nearly my whole life! Who ever takes my order when I come in, whether it be a new worker or a very familiar one, is always friendly as can be (even during times when they’re slammed busy & obviously more stressed.) They’ve never made a coffee/drink I didn’t enjoy & I personally LOVE how they come up with their own creative seasonal drinks throughout the year. Always speedy, friendly, clean & tasty! Couldn’t ask for more!

Wonderful little coffee shop with high quality drink crafting and fun food options.I ordered the Toffee Mocha “Poetchino” (frozen blended, like a frapp) and a warmed Apple fritter. Both were uber delicious. My taste buds were happy!My wife ordered the Poe (Espresso, steamed milk, dark chocolate, raspberry, topped with whipped cream), and a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich that she was quite pleased with. For the little we ordered a Little Bo Peep (Vanilla frozen drink made with milk and ice, topped with whipped cream), and a warm buttered croissant.The interior decor was a fun blend of industrial and wooden bench type stuff over concrete flooring.All parties were satisfied! And we are eager to return the next time we are in Pensacola, FL.

Wonderful choices, well named with the overall theme of the cafè. No matter how many times I go and no matter how busy they are, I always get my coffee in a timely manner and its made right each time. The staff is friendly and patient and I always enjoy my little trips there. My dog does too!

First time visit yesterday, have been looking for a good coffee shop since the DD in the neighborhood is terrible. Great Shakespeare iced coffee and tasty Cherry Danish. Will definitely visit again to try a fruit smoothie, and a breakfast sandwich. Friendly service and clean indoors and out.

While the coffee is good, this business is supposed to open for business at 0600. Rarely are they ready to serve at 0600. No one shows up until 0600 so nothing is ready. At 0600 there is usually a line of cars 4 to 6 deep. Management needs to address this.

I love the people who work here. They are so kind. I watched them help an older gentleman today who was struggling and they were super patient.Local roaster, cool people, yummy coffee. Yep its a great place all around 😀

I’ve never had a bad experience here. My drinks are always perfect and I get through the drive-thru line fast no matter how many cars. The employees are so sweet and they always get things right - if they don’t they make it right.

I ordered a hot Shakespeare, and was mistakenly given it poured over ice. They promptly offered to correct it when I mentioned the issue, but I declined as I didnt really feel it was necessary. Five stars because its the first time Ive been given an iced coffee that was brewed strong enough to handle being poured over ice.

Came on a Sunday and the service was quick. The barista was super nice and my drink was incredible! The place was spacious and nicely decorated with both inside and outside seating. Not much shade in the afternoons.

They know what I want every time. All I gotta do is show up and they immediately make me a large mocha w/ 2 extra shots. Delicious every time.

Ive always received fast and friendly service from the great baristas here! They have a good selection of drinks, including seasonal specialties. The shop has a good atmosphere to get some work done with consistent WiFi access as well. Definitely worth visiting!

Very friendly / calm service, in a fast pace work environment. Plenty of parking and a drive through that moves faster than any I’ve seen. The coffee is phenomenal! Hands down best coffee shop I’ve been to.

In front of the store is very peaceful when you want to sit on some coffee in the morning time and theres really cool people coming in and the stuff is very sweet and kind

I go to the drowsy poet in Brent regularly and am never disappointed. This location however, does not put pride in each cup,, its either half whipped cream, lacking espresso or overkill with it. Ive returned my cups twice, in the last month.!Just a suggestion but mabey you should care how the quality of your drinks are received by customers.

Absolutely DELICIOUS coffee drinks!Their coconut mocha poetchino (think similar to a Frappuccino or the like) is my absolute all-time favorite go-to drink!Please - support this LOCAL business. They have great customer service with prompt & friendly baristas and employees. They treat you like youre appreciated and welcomed, not as though theyre rushed from one order to the next in a chain of big-name corporations.This is a wonderful gem on the southwest side of Pensacola.

A higher rating is deserved just for customer service alone. It is the greatest. The folks working here take pride in what they do and really do care for their customers. Additionally, I tried most other coffee shops in the area, with the Poet having the best tasting coffee, the way I enjoy it.

We have visited a different coffee shop every morning of our vacation and this has by far been the BEST experience we’ve had. They had lots of sugar free syrup/milk options and made sure each drink was made just how we wanted it. The two girls working were SO friendly. We hope to come back here soon!!!!!! A pleasant place to share coffee and a sweet with a friend.I was pleased with the subtle reminders of the upcoming Xmas season and the creative decor.A small place but a real gem of a coffee shop with a drive through window and a variety of booths, tables, chairs, sofa and easy chair.Pleasant and professional server staff.Parking could be a challenge on busy days.A pleasant atmosphere and had a comfortable easy chair and sofa.Free Internet was available.They do offer a military discount.

Always super friendly with great service. Delicious pastries they warm up for you in a flash. I am amazed..seriously. Never had a bad drink hot, iced or frozen. Their hot drinks never tasted like burn coffee beans. Beats Starbucks hands down every time. Keep up the fantastic work!!

They charge for light ice in iced drinks. They dont warn you about it either. Cause they have to put more product inDespite the fact that its the same amount of product they would be putting in a hot drink. I guess they just want to screw over their customers that order cold drinks?Also, I went to the store at 4pm (they close at 8). They already had half the lights turned off and the pastries wrapped up. I thought they were closed. But I guess the employees were just tired of customersGood coffee. Messed up pricing structure

The drinks are just as good as at the original and the staff is super friendly. Im so glad to have a drowsy poet on the west side.We love that there are books and kids toys inside as well as comfy seating. I also love all the different monthly special drinks.I REALLY wish there was a tad more parking because finding a spot is often difficult.

The girl working there was super nice. The store closes too early though. It closes at 8 even on weekend nights. Its not a great neighborhood and that might be part of the issue. Oh and they need to get blackberry syrup. Other than that its a nice little coffee shop.

I have been here 5 times. this place ...where do i start. From the coffee to the baked goods to the sandwichs, everything is so good, i cant even go back to starbucks or dunkin. this place is amazing and delicious. i have tried a new item every visit and have yet to find something bad on the menu(online menu shows all). one negative is the drive thru doesnt show all their items which sucks but i easily look at the menu on my phone. Absolutely love this place! ty!

This is my favorite coffee shop! I love the Poe flavored coffee hot or cold they are both delicious. If you want to find some of the best coffee you will ever have in your life, this is the place to go. The prices are just as great as the coffee is. My second favorite flavored coffee is the milton. Just like the Poe its great hot or cold. The Poe has raspberry in it while the milton has caramel in it so depending on your taste is which one you will like best. If you like both those flavors the only problem you will have is deciding on which to try first. Hope you enjoy it as much as I always do

10-3. I have always loved and raved about Drowsy Poet until today. Yes, my experiences have varied but today was tops, for me. I ordered the same beverage I always order, got to the window to find the $ was more so I asked Why? The young lady gave a flimsy reason of seasonal / monthly special! ?? What, this is what I order ALL the time, seasonal? I went on to say I wont come back during their Seasonal / more expensive $$.... she politely said, Mame, thats fine. As I pulled away, I thought, you know Im not going to pay Starbucks prices for a 16oz cup of coffee thats really only 8 ozs after taking into account the foam that fills half the cup. I dont like doing business with a company using trickery on their customers and Im done with this one. Done. Karen

Very nice coffee space. Each Drowsy Poet location has a different vibe. The location on brent lane is much nicer, than the location on Navy Blvd in regards to the decor. The location on Pensacola beach is very quaint.

Their cold brew is amazing. Doesnt need any sweetener, just cream. Make sure to try out their nitro also. Which again, doesnt need any sweetener. Just ask for creamer and these drinks are addictive. Honestly, have to stop by here at least once a week.

Serious Cup of Coffee with Small Breakfast items are always on point.They specialize in hand-crafted Roasting in Small Batches.Via conversation with one of their Managers I was told that The Drowsy Poet Coffee Company, Inc. is working toward their USDA Organic Certification by CCOF, as well as establishing a strong relationship with Cooperative Coffees. #winning

Not too busy to sit inside and chill. An office away from the office with much better coffee than Kurege. Not much parking but you know if you have a parking space there is room inside. Not a hang out for students as the one on Brent Lane, less of a view than the Pensacola Beach location.

Not the brightest staff around. Ordered a cold beverage that they normally put ice in, but I asked for no ice. They charged me extra for the extra milk they used to fill the space the ice would have filled. Is this not the same amount of beverage that I would have received if I ordered it hot and for the same original price without being charged extra? Will not be visiting these cafes anymore.
