The crew is wonderful!!!! The management is NOT. I dont own my boat anymore and my slip (#5) has been vacant since ~ July 10, 2021. I prepaid through the first of October. I asked for a partial refund in early July and was turned down. Im assuming there is a waiting list, given the shortage of wet slips post-Hurricane Sally. Why keep someone else waiting? Not cool at all.

Pelicans Perch Marina has a kind, knowledgable and helpful crew. Calm protected slips with secure new dock. Easy access to downtown Pensacola making drive convenient to most surrounding areas. Absolutely most greatfule to have moved to this marina from Orange Beach a few weeks before Hurricane Sally. The Chico Bayou & bridge protected my sailboat from any damage. The dock crew and Management team here at Pelicans Perch were very hands on, helping to secure all boats up to the evening Sally made her way through. I am very happy with this marina.

Ben and team at Pelicans Perch Marina are absolutely top notch people. My wife and I ran into a snag with our boat transport and they were able to accommodate us and help us despite some setbacks. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to anything marine. Thanks again, Ben and team!

Having to haul-out for an expected hurricane is never a fun experience, but the staff and crew at Pelican’s made us feel comfortable and secure. They did an excellent job bringing our boat into the Travelift slip, making sure the straps were properly placed and expertly hauling our baby out and placing her securely on jacks. In particular, the Travelift operator was aware of our anxious state and took extra measures to assure us our boat was in good hands. We were very pleased with the experience. (And, Nate didn’t end up coming! Whew! : )

Love this place! Staff is very helpful! Restrooms are clean and store offers necessities and more. Have had a great experience doing business at Pelican Perch would definitely recommend them as an affordable place when looking for a marina to get your boat on dry land and do the work you need that cant be done in the water :)

Very professional group of people. They have anything you need for big or small jobs.

Very disappointed in what the prices are and what you end up paying. We had an agreement to pay 1500 dollars for hurricane protection. That is they take your boat out of the water for a storm. That’s it we were told. Come to find out that it’s another 500 to pull the boat out and 50 dollars a day for it being on land. Make sure you get everything in writing.

Danny and Ray and everyone who works here were extremely friendly and helpful. Every question I had they were available and able to answer it and they were very accommodating. I trust my boat in Pelicans Perchs hands and would definitely recommend this boatyard to anyone looking in the area.

My experience at this boatyard was excellent. If you need repairs or upgrades to your boat, this is the best choice in the area. They have a motto on the sign Friendliest Marina/ Boatyard on the Gulf Coast. They live up to this motto. They allow DIY (Do It Yourself...btw, getting very rare these days) or they have independent contractors who have shops near the yard. The contractors here are top notch. Bill in the front office can get you all the supplies you need at a good price and Mike and David (the yard managers/lift operators) are as professional as they come. These guys are extremely qualified and frankly, they know more about boats than numerous marine surveyors Ive employed. Their assistance was invaluable to me during my project. See Chad Carter for all your mechanical / diesel repairs. I can highly recommend Chad. There is no question where I bring my vessel when on the Gulf Coast to get things done, and done correctly. This place has a proper culture of what a boatyard/marina is supposed to be like.
