Mr. Tau is the ivory tower of mechanics in Pensacola. If you have a classic Chevy (especially a Corvette) this is the only place in town I would even consider taking my car. I brought him a 1969 Chevy C10 that was barely running and I got it back running like the day it came off the factory line. I got this truck from my father 24 years ago and it runs better today than the day I started driving it. Thank you, sir.

Was definitely very pleased and impressed with my experience here. The serpentine belt broke on my car. I called and they told me to come by. Had it fixed within a few hours and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back there if something else goes wrong with my car or even just a simple tune up.

Its really hard to find a mechanic that you can trust, but when you do they are your mechanic for life. I have been driving out of my way to go to a mechanic in Baldwin County till I could find a place that I could trust here, in Pensacola. Glad I found it. This place hits all the check marks for me. I need things explained to me. I dont want to just know what part needs to be changed. I want to know the function of the part and the repercussions if this part were to fail. I also like to know the general life of the replaced part and the reason that mine has gone out in the first place. I like to know if I have been doing something that caused the part to need to be replaced sooner than normal. Brian is very patient with my questions and explains things well. I am aware that my questions and sound effects can cause an eye roll but he has never showed that he was annoyed in any way. He never tries to up sale me although he will remind me when certain regular maintenance issues might need to be addressed in the future.

Doesnt know much about Hondas. I called for a price on a valve adjustment because I had been told by 2 other mechanics that is what was needed and he told me they dont do valve adjustments anymore and that that was not the problem. My owners manual clearly states that the valves need to be inspected every 60k miles and adjusted by 120k. I had the valves adjusted by a mechanic in MS and the problem was solved.
