The day after my oil change, the splash shield fell down underneath my engine while I was on I-110 on the way to work (pictured). When I brought it back they said some of the clips were broken- which I’m sure they were, Honda clips are cheap- but I don’t understand why they let me drive away with it not attached properly. I also paid for a tire rotation that they did not do (I do not have any proof). I was quoted over $500 for a transmission fluid change (which I declined) - Honda estimated the exact same service for $120.Everyone was polite and they did reattach the shield the next day, but I will not be returning. I sincerely hope this was just a bad day.

While I’m appreciative that they were able to get me in on short notice, I am disappointed that they over charge and also charge you twice for practically the same thing. They knew I was in a bind, and knew my financial situation and I feel completely taken advantage of, Especially after talking to other mechanic shops.
I am new to Pensacola and a friend of mine recommended Bobby Likis Auto for my 1998 Mercedes. Very pleased with their service. This is where I will be going for repairs, tires, oil change, etc.

My wife took her car in to get checked out after some minor issues. She received an OUTRAGEOUS quote. She decided to call the shop that she usually takes her car to, as we were on vacation. They stated that it was an extremely simple fix and that they would do it for free as the parts were not necessary in her make and model of car. The shop tried to charge her over $800 for something that was not necessary. I saw another review that states that this shop tries to take advantage of people with out of state tags. I believe that is what happened to us. Fortunately, my wife was able to get a refund for the parts and labor, but I would avoid this shop especially if you are out of state. I wish I would have taken the reviews into consideration before hand. We will not be returning and I would not suggest this place to anyone.

The staff was really nice and got me in quickly. It was my first time using their service as I purchased a great deal for a wheel alignment/tire rotation on Groupon. The staff was very personable and answered all of my questions. The only downside would be the wait time. It was about 45 minutes before my car was even brought back for service and altogether took about 3 1/2 hours. I was still very happy with their service and would definitely go back!
They do very good work. Ive been a customer for only a little over a year. Had two oil changes on my Porsche and was charged almost half as much than at the dealership. Had some engine work done last year too. No problems either time. Extremely busy, so get there early if you want an oil change. These guys do good work, they dont try to upsell you on services and I was treated as an important customer. The waiting area is small, especially when it comes to social distancing but the area is clean, and well kept. As long as I own my Porsche, I plan on remaining a loyal customer.
Would not recommend this place to anyone. They didn’t get all the oil leaks they were supposed to catch in the inspection. They missed belts that they should have checked on their apparent inspection. Incredibly over priced when there are other places in the area that are cheaper and get the job done better. They should have caught other things when they inspected it and they didn’t.
Do not go here it’s a complete scam. They charged me $695 for a service that I provided the parts for and still did not fix my car. OVERPRICED.
About a month ago, my F150 had check engine light on, was running a little rough, and airbag light was also on. Dropped off truck and next day the technician calls and says it needs a new engine. He quotes me over $8,000 and tells me the truck had been “neglected.” He says nothing about the air bag light. Frustrated, I decided to take the truck to the local Ford dealership. They looked at it and told me they could easily repair the problems and it would cost about $800. A week later, I picked the truck up and everything is fixed and it’s running great.
I purchased a Groupon for an oil change / scheduled an appointment. Got to my Saturday appointment and was told they didnt have anyone to provide the oil change and that I had to come back. The employees were sick. I asked why they didnt call me and was told they didnt have my name and phone # in the system. She asked me to call back after Wednesday. I called back to schedule it and was told it would be three weeks before they could get me in. When I told her on the phone that I needed the oil change now she said to cancel my Groupon. Dont waste your time with his company.

A few months ago I took my fiancé car to get an alignment but she wanted them to do an oil change also. With this being a reputable shop I figured why not. The alignment was good. After the test drive they noticed the steering wheel was not straight and remounted the car back on the alignment rack and got it straight. The rating is not on the alignment or the shop but the oil change and the person that changed the oil that day. I finally was able to see why she smelled oil burning. I drove the car and I also smelled oil burning. I opened the hood and saw a complete mess. It looked like to me that they missed the oil fill compartment or over filled it. All they had to do is clean up after themselves. Oil was all over the place as you can see in the pictures. In the pictures after the oil change and after I cleaned it. This was the second time I came to this shop and will try them again but will definitely check the work before I leave next time.
Its hard to find a honest mechanic when you are 9 hours away from home. Would recommend Bobby likis auto service to anyone great group of people and a pleasure to do business with. Thanks again guys
We took our vehicle here about a month ago with an issue with it burning oil really fast. They told us it needed a new valve cover and it would be $250. Next thing we know it ended up being $600 and they wouldn’t plug the computer up to it to check why the light was on without charging another $100. We paid the $600 and they ensured that it was fixed. A month later (now) we can’t even drive it. It is still burning oil extremely fast and the whole vehicle shakes when you turn it on and it smokes. So we called them and told them it still has that issue and we would like to have it towed to them and they said, “we will take care of it”. We got it towed there and later that day they told us it needs a whole new engine. So the $600 we spent on parts a month prior was for nothing, but we still had every intention on replacing the engine with them in a couple of weeks until they told us it would be $150 for them telling us the engine is blown. After spending $160 on towing it, after them telling us that they “will take care of it”. Please don’t take your car here. Even if you spend several hundred with them they will not run their computer on it without charging another $100. They will not own up to their own mistakes and Atleast check to see what’s going on after it breaking down after spending several hundred with them just a few weeks prior and having every intention of spending several thousand to replace an engine. They are very unprofessional. And it’s just bad business.

Place used to be cool. I remember seeing the service as being worth the price. A digital inspection means someone tells me that my car is fine. I call and get an appointment to find out there was never a note of it. Very unpleasant experience.

Brought my car in, explained the issue and told them what two other shops (who did not have the means to actually fix the issue) had identified as being the problem. Bobby Likis Auto agreed that the other shops were probably correct but assured me they would diagnose it themselves to be sure before ordering the near $1,000 part.I gave them the time to diagnose but they never called back as they said they would to confirm the issue. So I called them. The part had been ordered anyway even though no one had checked my car to diagnose the issue. It is also only then that they tell me of a diagnostic fee.After a fruitless exchange with the person on the phone, I decided to just cut my losses for time wasted and took my car somewhere else. I ordered the OEM part myself online for $100, and the mechanic at a reputable shop put it in for $50 ‐ it was done in less than an hour.I WILL NOT go back to a place like this. I was so disappointed to have this experience after hearing the Car Clinic radio broadcast all these years from childhood. Totally changed my perception of what I thought this shop was.
Took my truck in for a few things. Belt, tensioner, glow plugs, ac blower, couple other littler things. Took care of everything for a good price and had good communication the whole time.
My 2024 Ford. Escape had a problem with the electrical system. The battery would drain and car would not start. They spent a lot of time tracing down the problem. They found a piece of metal in a power outlet in the console by going circuit to circuit. They remove the piece of metal and the car has not had a problem since. Well done!!

They replaced the water pump and thermostat and also changed the spark plugs. They kept me informed about the car.they were courteous and respectful. The receptionist spent a good amount of time finding the answer to my question. Very pleased with the service and highly recommend them.

I definitely recommend taking your car here for repairs. After calling a few local mechanics about a spark plug and coil change. By far the lowest price, and my car was done 2 hours before the initial time frame, which was very helpful because this is my only car. Im very thankful for the work they did, my car drives smooth again with no issues.

The guy at the front desk is super rude and not engaged maybe because I didnt bring a 2021 Corvette to his shop. Seems like hes the owners son, spoiled rich kid type attitude. Didnt tell me a thing besides drive the car until the motor burns up, literally. Make sure when you walk through the door you look like you have a lot of money. Ill never go back. Especially not with my 2021 anything. Hell probably loosen your o2 sensor and say you need a full tune up and oil change lol
My appointment was at 11 am. They did not take my car back until 11:45. I was disappointed it that. If I had to have an appt, I feel like thats when my car service should have been started. Other than that the rest was fine.
Truck not running right, after having work done at the Toyota stealership.They told me there were 3 problems, that caused the rough running. I was very suspicious about one problem, the presumed fouled plugs, as the plugs have always looked perfect when I changed them. I realized it was probably none of the 3 things, and gambled that it was the fuel filter; after changing this, problem solved, $550 saved!Like someone else says below, this place used to be cool.

I had my worst oil change experience there. The mechanic was careless, cross screwed the screw on the drain. I was told that I need new parts for it to hold oil again. Therefore, I had to leave to my vehicle there on Saturday, and was promised to have my vehicle ready on Monday, which they failed to do so due to the parts didn’t come. Tuesday morning, I got a call saying my vehicle is finally ready and somehow they didn’t need the new part.When I pick my vehicle up, they weren’t apologetic at all for left me without a vehicle for 3 days, and didn’t even put the new oil change sticker on.By the way for some reason my oil life only shows 40% instead of 100%.Overall I can describe this place with 3 words, CARELESS MECHANICS, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT.
Horrible! Don’t use this business! They redeemed my Groupon AFTER getting my car information, then refused to change my oil because it was a Mercedes which SUGGESTS Mobile 1. As if they didn’t know that before I called and gave my vehicle info over the phone AND in person. Now I can’t get a refund, because the Groupon has already been redeemed!

Avoid this place at all costs. I was charged twice for a misdiagnosed problem they didn’t ultimately fix, while damaging the body of my car with no compensation offered. Quick summary; $800 got me a window that will jam up in the foreseeable future, makes noise going up and down, have to carefully close my car door, can’t close door with car window down, and a forearm sized patch body scratch that devalues my car without replacing the bumper. Full details; I originally brought my car in with a window that wasn’t going up anymore. I assumed a dead window motor, called them made the appt for a window motor replacement. They did the repair 300$ later and it was good for a week or so. But soon after the window would get stuck rolling it up from completely open. If I rolled down then back up it would visually reset its track and come all the way up. A grievance because I paid 300$ for a working window, now I have a sometimes working window. I took it to the shop and it was going up and down no issues so they brushed me off without even looking inside the door panel. I figured I’ll wait to see how the issue progresses. I later figured out that it was a track issue caused by closing my door with the window down. It came off track and had to be rolled up then down to reset the track. I told them about the discovery and track issue and they said ok bring it in. Let it sit in the shop and they tell me it’s the regulator that needs to be replaced. Wished they noticed or tested a faulty regulator when they replaced my motor, but instead it’s another 500 with the labor to open it back up and replace the regulator. They call me saying it’s fixed. I go to the shop and see my window rolled up. So I proceed to do my window down close door test, and to no surprise the window was still getting jammed. I paid 800$ total at this point for the same issue I told them about two visits ago, a track issue. I show them the issue and they have no answer but suggest it needs a whole new window track. To be “nice” they said they’d only charge me the part and no labor since they just were in it. Annoyed I say ok whatever. Later that day they call me and say it’s fixed and come in. I arrive and the window is up but they proceed to tell me it was a loose clamp which holds the window in place. They failed to recognize this from the beginning and charged me 800$ for the wrong answer to the issue. They did not fix the clamp saying it’s a body shop issue and that going forward I can’t close my door with any type of force beyond necessary to latch it close and to always roll my window up when I close my door. $800 gets me that solution. On top of that as he was pulling my car out, I noticed a panel sized scratch in my rear bumper. I drive to work everyday, cleared out my vehicle of personal belongings before leaving that last time, trunk and back seat, and it did not have that damage. The man refused to accept responsibility arguing since it had dust layered on top of the scratch it was old. I agreed there was indeed a dust cover, but he failed to comprehend that the car sat inside a dirty auto shop for 5 hours, so yes a layer of dust would build up. A week later currently, with the car being driven and kept in a clean garage or outside, a new layer of dust has yet to cover that spot as adequately as it did for 5 hours laying in his shop thus nullifying his argument that the damage was there for a while previously. I could tell this place was sloppy when I had no communication from them anytime I dropped it off except for one time a nice guy Andrew helped me out, and after the first time they left scratch/pry marks in my door where I assumed they were opening up the panel. I came to this area for military training and wanted to shop local, and heard Bobby Linus was reliable, but I saw the original owner walked away recently and it’s unfortunate because these new guys are really putting the name to shame. Strongly urge you find another local service or just go to the failsafe dealership.
Bobby Likis employees are always friendly and helpful. As far as prices go on future repairs quotes I’d say very overpriced. Example: brake job front and rear over $300 per axle. Called the dealership $199 per axle. Glad I waited.
I will never go back to that place. They are robbing people and not doing the work.
My grandson took his car to get the transmission fixed. They really messed it up and theres more things wrong with it now than there was before. Shoddy work will never go there again! Car still doesnt run.

As a first timer using Car Clinic, I am impressed. I will definitely use them regularly now. They have provided me with a stellar service. Everything you could expect for an excellent customer service. Mind you things arise and each situation is different with everyone. But nonetheless it is worth coming here if you care about your car.

I appreciated the coupon I received in the mail for Oil/Filter change at a good rate. I also appreciated the coffee and TV in the waiting area while my Oil/Filter change was performed. The folks were all friendly and the work was performed as promised.

I brought my car here for the first time due to coolant leaking. They did a pressure test and informed me that it was the radiator. Obviously, not welcome news, however they made the experience quick and painless. Their recommended plan of action was exactly what I needed to have done without unnecessary upsell. All told I was in and out in about 2 hours. While I waited there was a nice waiting area with keurig coffee and a clean bathroom. I appreciate the work they did to get me back on the road safely and reliably. I will go back for future work.

I usually dont write reviews but these guys really impressed me. I was in Perdido Key on vacation when my 2013 Expedition starts running rough and stalled a couple times. At first there was no check engine light but when it finally came on it was P1450 (excess fuel tank pressure). I looked online a bit and concluded that it was the purge valve. However, when I went to the auto parts store they want $170 because it has a solenoid and it is controlled by the cars computer. Rather then doing this myself I decide to take it in and use my third party warranty. The warranty company helped me find Bobby Likis. The shop was clean and organized. Rusty and J.D. were on top of everything. They took my car right in and diagnosed it the same day. JD called me that afternoon and told me what they found (purge valve and a pressure leak in the filler neck), what needed to be ordered, what my balance was going to be, and when it would be ready. Everything went as expected and I had my car back in two days. Rusty even helped me to get a rental car. I wish these guys were in Dallas. I would use them all the time.
I took my new (to me) 02 lx470 to Bobby Kikis for an annual inspection and general maintenance and preventative maintenance to make sure everything necessary was baselines to insure its roadworthiness. They advised me of the things it will need in the future, and did not pressure me into spending thousands of dollars on the spot to remedy things I plan to upgrade or change myself going forward. It seems that many shops can make it seem like a life/death situation to replace minor things like a cabin air filter and charge you as much as possible to do so, Bobbys did not. Anyways, I dropped my truck off around noon, gave them no timeline, and they still attempted to have it completed by the end of the day. Ultimately I picked it up the following morning. One of my pet peeves in life is communication, my BMW on the other hand was taken to the dealership, and spent almost 4 days there just for a diagnostic test with very minimal communication from the dealer. Bobbys was sure to keep me informed and sent me the relavent receipts and info to me email as well. Ill recommend Bobby Likis to my friends and family for their automotive needs going forward.
I have had absolutely NO, zilch, nada issues with my Honda Accord that just rolled over 100,000 miles which is nothing on a Honda until I took it to Bobby Likis for a routine oil change, after only about 3 weeks, my oil light came on and I checked my oil and there was NO oil at all in it. I took it up there Friday for them to check it and they want $800 to fix one leak and said I possibly have another one but cant fix that one until I pay $800 for this one. Im very disappointed and have an appointment a mechanic to look at it later this week. Will post what he finds.
From the initial estimate over the phone to picking up the car they were professional. The quote they gave us was right on the money and was very affordable. It didnt take as long as other shops had estimated either.
The AC in my 2011 Honda Civic needed replacement. Andrew oversaw the repairs and the work was done on time and the AC is working perfectly. Sandra called me to update me on the progress during the repair. I had to leave the car overnight, but it was worth the minor inconvenience for a functioning AC unit in the Florida summer weather. What really impressed me was the follow up message the day after I retrieved my car. They were very concerned that I was satisfied with the job, and I most certainly was. This business has excellent customer service. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had an issue.
You need a place to go when it’s time for your “wheels” to be repaired that you can TRUST. Bobby Likis is the place to go, they are honest, reliable and they do an excellent job. I don’t trust my car to anyone else.
Mother in law (from out of state, IMPORTANT) was having a random vibration issue in their Tahoe. Brought it in to Bobby Likis to have them look at the issue. Received a call an hour later stating all four rotors and brake pads need to be replaced, as well as brake fluid flushed and replaced. My immediate thought was this mechanic was attempting to take advantage of my mother in law due to her plates showing from out of state. Brake fluids do NOT need to be flushed for a rotor and brake pad replacement. Also it is HIGHLY unlikely all four rotors are warped and brake pads worn down completely to be rubbing on metal. They were quoted $1200+ for the remove/replace (R^2) four rotors and brake pads. Immediately threw another red flag. These can be done for ~$400 without hourly mechanic fees. We explained that we will pick up the Tahoe in an hour or two and pay the inspection fee. Mechanic (didnt catch name) gave an attitude and essentially said fine and hung up. Within 30 minutes we received a call back stating we want your business, well replace all four rotors and brake pads for $750. Think about that, how is it they can drop the price by $450 within 30 minutes? They were obviously attempting to take advantage of the situation with it looking like we are from out of state.Also as of ~2 weeks since removal/replace of rotors and brake pads, the random vibration at idle and low speeds has reappeared.Be VERY careful going to this mechanic. Do your research, look around for other options.

My car overheated so I had it towed to Bobby Likis without warning. They were really great about it and let me know up front they would have to wait until Monday to even look at it. Turns out it was the radiator fan stopped working. They also determined why my ac was blowing hot air. They gave me a discount when I told them I couldnt afford the almost $2000 quote. Very easy to talk to and they stuck exactly to what they quoted me.

Trying to keep a 24-year-old car on the road isnt easy, especially if you still use it as your daily driver AND its been involved in a parking lot fender-bender AND its kind of a rare model to begin with AND has almost 300,000 miles on the odometer. Likis has done all of that and the car now drives almost like it was brand new (the upholstery needs a little work). I highly recommend Bobby Likis Auto Service, confident that they can keep me on the road until I or the car loses molecular cohesion.
My honda crv had a bad power steering pump and all of a sudden on my way to work the serpentine belt breaks.I got there late in the day and they managed to replace both the pump and the belt in a short time. I was expecting to be there a hot minute but I was in and out quick and for a price that was quite a bit lower than I expected and Im On the road again. Not only that but they followed up the next day to check on things.HIGHLY recommend!
I just moved to the area and came to Bobby Likis because of all the great reviews and fell in love with how friendly everyone was! From start to finish no one was ever rude. They are a bit pricey for a young college student but they have quality parts and my car has never ran better so I think it’s worth it! I will be coming back again!

They did not get the numbers right from the adjustment,.they don’t try to listen to what you gotta say but instead, tells you what they think they know. I didn’t wanna deal it, so I just said ok,. Left it like that,.paid for it and left., Now steering wheel is leaning to the right., not going back.

I had an A/C problem, called Rusty and he said to bring it in. That afternoon my A/C was repaired and my car back home. From phone call to successful repair was about 4 hours. The promptness, professionalism, and having a cool car is much appreciated. Thank you!
Being from out of town (Fort Myers, Fl), I asked around the Internet and different Facebook forums in Pensacola for recommendations. Got several recommendations for different places but only these guys were set up to work on bigger trucks. Well, I’m glad I found them. Very clean shop and that tells you a lot. They replaced my ball joints on my 3500 GMC and had my truck back a day after I dropped it off. They are not the cheapest, but I get the feeling they are, considering it was probably done right the first time.
We have family and friends in the area and, after a nine hour drive to visit them, our car wasnt happy! What a blessing to find Bobby Likis Car Clinic. Mechanics are thorough, polite, and honest. The shop is super-clean. Very much recommend the shop and services!

Got a Pre Purchase Inspection done here. They did a great job and were very thorough. They even showed me everything that was wrong instead of just writing it in a report so I would have a better understanding of the issues. Would highly recommend.

I brought in my 2015 Hyundai Accent. I was early for my appointment and yet they were more than happy to help me then and there. I gave them my keys and they set me up. The whole thing probably only took about 30min or so. They were extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I’ve never been to a place that had more banners about how it was the best in the area and yet provide such awful service. The first day I came in it took nearly 3 hours to get an off alignment. The second time I came in they gave me a long wait time so I said I’ll make an appointment and come back. They call me the day of and canceled on me due to issues with their alignment rack. Then today I came in for an appointed time and they told me to come back because they had someone on the rack. I now have to go to another shop for this month long plus ordeal. The waiting room had no a/c on for some reason even though they have it, and I overheard a customer getting ripped off on an oil change. They must be bribing their way to receive ‘Pensacola’s Best’ because everything about the service was awful.
Great people took care of my wife’s vehicle. When I take any of my cars over there I know that the work is done properly and safely. You guys are awesome

Professional and friendly. They showed me additional problems for my sake, not to just jack up my bill. I liked the honesty and felt like they were looking out for me and not just their dollars like some other auto repair shops around town. They also recommend I change my cabin air filter...which so far has fixed my AC problem that two other shops have charged me to fix and failed.
Great service! Bought a Groupon for an oil change, and they were done within an hour. They are very honest, and didnt try to push any additional services on me once I was in the door.

Absolutely fantastic experience for what was a bad situation. JD and his team went out of their way to coordinate with FEDEX to get my part in as soon as possible and even sent a member out of their way to pick it up hours away. They were always patient when I called asking for updates. I won’t go anywhere else from now on!
The 1st time I went here for an oil change, I was really impressed. THey inspected my vehicle and gave me a detailed report with pictures. I live over an hour away(one way), but was willing to make the drive for that kind of service. Went for an oil change and tire rotation recently. I called to make an appointment and got a price. When the were done, they tried to charge me quite a bit more than they quoted me. Also, they did not provide any information about inspecting my vehicle. No tire pressure reading, fluid levels, wiper condition (needed replacement), nothing! I can get better service than that at just about any place. Will not return.
