Mike & Alana were very professional doing business regarding my charger i had paint and body work done they worked with my insurance and i had my car back in one month that’s sound kinda long but with the pandemic and COVID-19 guidelines that’s pretty quick and the repairer Justin that was working on my vehicle has top notch performance he really got my car back in pristine condition and the paint crew did wonderful on my red three stage paint i seen all the old reviews and i was skeptical at first.but those reviews was from old staff that use to work there but all in all they did a awesome job on my car & definitely recommend anyone to go to this location despite the old reviews 👍🏾

Maaco in Pensacola does a really great job for a fantastic price. I have a couple of before and after pix. They painted the car all three colors, followed the factory paint stripe exactly and added my hood scoop. The after pictures are before I cleaned the car up. The original paint was cracked and faded badly. They sanded it down to bare metal and brought it back. All of this within two and a half weeks. Its not a 10 foot paint job, it looks great up close. With some minor blemishes easily touched up, they did a great job. A competitor wanted $5k for the same paint job and this was MUCH less. This Maaco is owned by a car enthusiast and they do a lot of classic cars. This is my second classic car that they have painted. Their people that do the masking are nearly perfect. Miniscule overspray. I didnt pay for the most expensive paint job but I feel they went the extra mile for me. Great job guys and I will be back!

Inside side mirrors rough and spotty paint.Around side door chrome near back seat..See old paint underneath and looks like it will flake off.Lots of tiny bumps under the paint and some have white tops ...car is red.Ridge of paint at the trunk where it was not open and the paint smoothed. old layer of paint shows underneath new paint on very bottom of car side panelsKept my are for 6 days. When I picked it up the seat was almost set to the backseat for a really tall person around 6. The radio station was set to some strange station. The AC was set as low as it would go. The outside of my car was filthy as if it had been painted days ago. Also my Check engine light was own(comes on when I hit below a 1/2 tank of gas for just a short while( not a major proble ) but it means that my car had been running a while to use up gas. Was not that way when I dropped it off. They refused to fix the paint problems the manager was very rude and thought it was funny that he had a clear piece of glass leaning on a table in his loby that I almost tripped over when I showed him the paint job that I had requested and told him that I had paid two hundred dollars extra for resurfacing to go with it( a total of$ 1510.00.) I have had a total hip replacment, and if had I fell over that clear sheet of glass it could have really hurt me. I am almost 60 years old.His remark was... just break my glass. He refused to take the money for payment and let me have my car unless I signed a paper about their work. He also had fun making me sign my own copy that was not attached to his before he would let me have my car. I felt like he had a lot of fun...and knew he had my car...and was not going to fix the problems...like $1510 was nothing.

I had initially met Paul when i came to him about advice with my front bumper that fell out of place when he went ahead and just popped it in for free and didnt charge me a thing! He was very kind and helpful, service oriented and really just cared about helping me out. Flash forward and now he just worked out half the dent in my driver side door and told me he could do a perfect repair for around $700 bucks! Where as other shops were trying to charge me $1500 or more. I am definitely coming back to have Paul help me out again. What a kind and friendly group of people!

Worst possible service. Took our Yukon in for an estimate and Wayne quoted us three different levels of work. We chose the most expensive job quoted as we wanted the best quality. When we picked up the SUV, it was raining and the job looked ok from what we could tell with it being wet. By the time we got home, it had dried off and we noticed that the pain job was terrible. One solid mass of orange peel, dirt under the pain in numerous areas, chips still present, and there was mud on the door sills and dust on the door panels from their work. I called them on Monday and was told that the supervisor Paul wanted to see the SUV. I took it down and he and Wayne both insisted that it was a great job and that there were only minor imperfections. He said the he could cut and buff the truck to take care of the problems for an additional $650.00 dollars. Now if there are no problems and it is a great pain job, what exactly was he going to fix for $650.00? I declined to pay him any additional money and he said we were done, refusing to correct the terrible paint job. Stay as far away from them as possible.

I had the worst experience with this terrible paint shop. I asked for a matte finish and was told they could do it. When I got my car back it was terrible. They didnt buff out any of the scratches or small dings and even the paint guy said it was a bad job so they agreed to fix it. They asked me to circle each blemish with a white wax pencil so they could pay extra attention but when I got the car back it was a shiney finish, and I kid you not, I can still see the white circles under the paint job. So now I have a black shiney coat with white circles all over it. Oh and the worst part of all, all the original scratches and blemishes are still there.. they refused to fix it and said it was perfect the first time but did it anyway. I asked for a refund and was given attitude and he refused to work with me. And this is all from the OWNER.i took my car to every known body shop in town to get a second opinion and they all said it was a terrible job. Imade a whole day of it going from shop to shop. They confirmed it was not a matte finish and they could indeed see all the white circles. They said maaco must have just sprayed an overlay coat hoping it would cover the blemishes. I asked one of the guys at maaco if theyd ever done a matte finish before and was told no but when I asked the owner he said, with hand motions and all the attitude, yeah we do them all the time. So he basically lied to me. And if he didnt lie, then someone lied because they cant both be right. And to me, I dont think theyve done matte before. Even coming from everyone I know, plus every paint and body shop in Pensacola, have all said it was a piss poor job. I also almost forgot to add that some decal lettering on the back of my car was missing so I have to replace it.. it said 2.5 SL and now it says 2.5 S. There was painters tape still stuck to my car also covering the lights that shine on my license plate. The whole car was covered in dust. The guy at maaco (not the owner) came out to take it all off and wiped it down with a cloth... Half way... So it was streaked with dust lol but honestly I didnt care about all of that because my car literally looked like a child got ahold of some cheap spray paint and just went to town on my car. There was black paint all over the chrome where they didnt mask it, half of my front grill was matte where they didnt mask it either. It was so bad.... I was in shock. Then they say I had to wait 4 weeks until they could fix it so the paint could settle before they fixed it. Idk if thats true but whatever... I was just happy they would fix it... But come to find out theyre way of fixing something is just messing it up even more. I am so upset and Im worried Ill never get my money back. Thats a lot of money to just throw away. It was extra because it was matte too. I just want it all sanded away and back to normal now because anything is better than what Im in now.

They did a really good job on the repair. Unfortunately they also left a hell of a mess inside the truck afterwards. Sanding dust and debris from the repair was everywhere. I had fine dust coming out of the vents for week. They do the repairs in a booth and tape off your vehicle and paint it right there parts-on-the-vehicle. You may end up with some paint buildup where the part was taped off. As long as you are ok with this they do it for a great price and their work looks good overall.

Maaco! This is the best place in Pensacola to have any collision or body work done. I hit a deer on my way into Pensacola for a weekend trip. The impact completely destroyed my front bumper and right passenger fender. I called my local Buick dealership to see about fixing my car, they recommended Maaco. I called on tuesday, February 20th and spoke with someone about stopping by and getting a quote. He told me that Paul was the guy to speak to, but sadly he wasnt available till the following day. I showed up bright and early to meet with Paul. I was given a quote and the number was out of my budget for emergency deer collisions, but Paul directed me to some part dealers and helped me with the price. Paul and his network of dealers worked with me. We finished finding each and every part that didnt need to be brand new and could be painted. They made this whole process doable financially. They put me first, not the money; which is a commodity in this world these days. Once all the parts came in, I dropped the car off the following Tuesday to be disassembled, painted and repaired structurally and reassemble. I am sitting in my car as I type this 4 days later; finished and looking better than when I bought it.My car (Betsy) looks like a million bucks and my wallet isnt deflated. I would like to personally thank all of the staff of Maaco for making this accident more than tolerable. I can now drive back up north and get back to work because of Maacos staff. Paul Mims, Justin Brooks, and Paul Jones; if it wasnt for you guys Betsy and I would be trapped in the state we wreaked in.. You guys are awesome.... THANK YOU! I will definitely be back for all my upgrades and uh-ohs on the road. I wouldnt trust anyone else!!!

I paid 1200 dollars to have my 2004 Hyundai Elantra painted (minus the door jams). The paint job turned out well considering the price. Expect some minor imperfections, but the paint job I received looks very good from 10 feet away. Imperfections can only be noticed upon closer inspection. Overall, I felt that the paint job was a very good value. The one issue that I had was that I was planning on paying with my American Express card. I was not advised that they wouldnt taken it prior to taking my car here. Luckily, I had the money to pay for it, but if I hadnt, I would have been without one of my cars until the bill could be paid. When I pointed out this potential problem, I was told that there was a sign on the door (its not very noticeable in my opinion), and they were dismissive of my suggestion to verbally tell the customer that they dont take American Express prior to painting the car. Because of the way they dealt with my concern, I am giving them a 3 star rating (It would have been 5 stars otherwise because the paint job was fantastic for the price I paid).UPDATE: In December of 2020, I took my 2008 Kia Optima back to MAACO because the paintjob they did on my 2004 Hyundai Elantra had held up so well. I did their lowest plan, and there were some imperfections they had to fix prior to painting the car so the final tally came out to $865 dollars. Not only does the paint job look great, but they also repainted my cars emblem without charging me anything. Therefore, I updated my review from three stars to five stars. Thank you, MAACO of Pensacola!

Unprofessional, unaccountable liars.I went in for an estimate and was told that my vehicle was totaled for a dent in the side. I call back in and the manager Paul beats around the bush when I am trying to find out information about the threshold and damage value of my car. Paul insisted that he has no idea why I was told that my car was totaled, and that he doesnt have a system for that information. After not clearly answering my questions and beating around the bush when I was trying to make an extremely polite inquiry and not attempting to even look into my estimate. After 5 minutes of going back and forth I became upset and asked him why are his people allowed to say a vehicle is totaled if they have no **** clue. He proceeded to hang up on me and refused to answer my questions further. All it would have taken was an I am sorry sir, who ever said that was mistaken and he could have TRIED to look into my estimate, but Paul is apparently too good to take responsibility for his store or his actions or to help a customer when they are being polite, and forbid that you are in a frantic state over your vehicle that he cannot handle a driver in despair.
