Ive spent over $10K between my business equipment and my personal house equipment and it will all comes to an end today. I will never set foot or even call this store again. After purchase customer service is non existent and this ladies phone edicate is juvenile at best. I get more respect from children than this so called adult. Its too much to ask if a part is in stock or even to cross reference a part number. Im done!

This was my first time at their Pensacola location. these guys were knowledgeable and very friendly. They answered questions about a wide range of topics. The entire staff greeted each customer and was friendly to everyone. I took a generator in for service and will bring my mowers there after the season for service.

I purchased a [heavily] used Hustler Fastrak zero-turn mower on-line last year with a LONG laundry list of issues. I took it in to the Tool Shack and was very pleased with how knowledgeable the counter guy was as I explained the issues I was having. I left it with the service department with the specific instruction that Id like to be able to start it, drive it off my trailer and mow my yard. They accomplished that instruction in spades, plus I expect, a whole bunch of other issues that I hadnt discovered yet (since it didnt work enough for me to even try it out for discovery before I took it in to them). Ive since experienced the Zen-like joy of mowing my rather rough lawn and enjoying the smell of a freshly mowed yard. Bottom line... kudos to the maintenance guys who serviced and repaired my mower and the same to ALL those folks who similarly had to deal with ME when I called for status updates. Well done, guys. I highly recommend this establishment (both locations, Gulf Breeze and Pensacola).

This morning I purchased an Echo edger (multiple use). As for customer service, Joe and Priscilla couldn’t have been anymore informative about the product. I went in to purchase a different brand but after listening to them I felt like they wanted me the customer to be happy. I am and I was and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tool Shack!!

We have rented from here 2 times and both experiences have been great. I shopped around, and these guys offered the best rental price and were super convenient for us. I am very happy they are close by and affordable. They also did a good job sharpening chain saw blades!

I have been here before to get tune-up parts for my zero turn mower. Today we picked up some equipment our employer purchased. Staff has been helpful and good to work with. I cant speak for repair service as I have not had any done. However they have good brands of equipment and seem good to work with.

Order Parts For Needed Equipment. Was Told It Would Be In Within A Week. Going On Two Weeks And Parts Still Have Not Came. Poor Stock Items On Tools They Sale. Most Companys That Sell Equipment; Have At Least Replacement Items. You Be The Judge!

I have had many pleasant experiences with this company. As a home builder in Pensacola for over 25 years, I have dealt with just about every firm offering the same or similar services as the Tool Shack. I have purchased equipment, and supplies as well as had repairs performed. I always felt I was treated fairly and my equipment serviced professionally at a reasonable cost. I saw one review where the customer felt she was scammed and have a difficult time believing that to be the case. I understand anything is possible and know nothing of the details of her experience. They do seem to be one of the better small engine, lawn mower/tractor supply/repairs companies in town.

I rented a billy goat brush cutter traveling in from Fairhope Alabama. Picked it up Saturday at noon. First thing I noticed the blade was super dull. It work for less than an hour before the belt broke. I take it back Monday morning expecting a refund which I did get however the owner had the balls to charge me 2.50 for the gas used. I was planning on renting it for one day and then purchasing one from The tool shack. I will not be back and recommend that you shop elsewhere. Horrible business practice and a bad attitude from the owner

The men were very helpful for my problem. Gave very good advice and service. After following there advice and installing the parts they recommended, my machine performed as a new machine.

They were very helpful in finding the right part to repair my Tooro lawn mower. They were kind and courteous . I also got in and out quickly with the correct part. This saved me time and money. Thank you for great service.

Don’t buy here assuming they will service your purchase in the shop. They send your mower to Gulf Breeze!They also think 3 1/2 weeks to service your mower is normal. Who can wait 3 1/2 weeks to mow your lawn. Bought here instead of box store thinking I was going to get better service. Was I wrong.

I needed to rent a jack hammer and a concrete saw for a house project. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to my lack of knowledge with these tools. It was a great experience.

This place is terrible. Theres one guy that works there thats such a jerk, hes infamous. Everyone who I know whos shopped there has something to say about that guys attitude. Sold us a new toro mower with lots of problems that popped up almost immediately after buying. Very suspicious, I think they beat it up or let something happen to it while in their care. Their service times are astronomical. If you need your mower back within a month youll need to go somewhere else, even if its for something as simple as a new ignition switch.In additional to all of this. They have tried to charge us for things under warranty multiple times. The one guy is so incredibly rude and everyone else is incompetent. I wish I had bought my mower from kingline. They have been so helpful with fixing my warrantied Toro, theyre the ones who deserved my money.

WARRANTY WORK IS NO PRIORITY. Please be aware, If you buy Toro, the manufacturer does not involve themselves in warranty work at their distributers locations (according to Char and Supervisor Lee at Toro Customer Service). Furthermore, be very sure to get a FIRM completion date before dropping your mower off for warranty work at the Tool Shack Pensacola. The drive engage mechanism on our Z Master 5000 purchased from the Tool Shack has failed while the mower is still well under warranty. Called Joe at the Tool Shack. Set up a time to drop the mower off. Repair time, about 2 weeks. Three weeks later, we are still getting the run around. Seems like our warranty work is being habitually passed over for paying jobs. Cant get a straight answer from anyone at the store to get an update, ie, whats the problem with the mower, what parts are needed, are the parts in house, have the parts been ordered, when can we pick up our repaired mower, is the mower sitting out in the weather in your yard???? Meanwhile, we have 10 acres of knee-high grass crawling with spring time snakes.

Refused to place an order for repair parts via credit card over the phone...and the CSR was rather rude about it. I suppose they have reasons for refusing phone orders, but given all the other area businesses that do, and considering this is 2018, that is an unfortunate and limiting aspect of their business model. Placed the same order with a business in Robertsdale, AL and am moving on.

Just finished mowing with my new Toro Super Recycler. Man, what a mower! It started on the first pull and doesnt even need a choke. The rear-wheel drive system adjusted to my walking speed and made mowing almost fun again! Colton, the owner, matched me up with the best mower for my needs and budget. Tool Shack is way better than HD and Lowes.... great people and high-quality products.
