I took my john deere 850 tractor to the Pelham store about 3 to 4 months ago, and Im just now getting it back in November. They came up with a lie to say the problem was my fault so they wouldnt have to replace the $250 alternator I had already bought. They broke my battery Id bought from walmart and told me I had to have a JD battery in it. Parts was a batt a alt. and wires. They charged me $1.411 in total. Finally pay for it was told itd b delivered that day and it arrived 5 days later. So be careful before using this store for sure.
It would be nice if you could get in touch with parts been calling for 3 days. Everytime I call they say they cant answer the phone because of people at the counter an that they will call me back. I have yet to receive a call back so instead I drive 2+ hours to another dealer. I want buy another 3 zero turns from john deere.
Bought a lawn tractor two years ago. They screwed up the delivery, left out part of the attachments when it was delivered and this took several weeks to get straight. Took it back for repairs in June and was told that they were backed up 2 weeks. This was in June, I got my mower back on August 4th. It needed a new carb after only 2 years and 125 hours. They said I had bad gas but I use the same can for my Honda mowers and other equipment with no problem. The repair was almost $700.
Great employees and top notch equipment.
These guys are great to deal with
Johnny restored a 30 year old mower for us!!! It runs super smooth! Ty Johnny!!!!!
My go to place for high quality lawn equipment and service.
I ordered a John Deere zero-turn from the John Deere website. It was to come from this TriGreen. Brandon went overboard. He made adjustments to make sure we had a machine within the week of the order even though they did not have the exact one we ordered, no additional charge. They communicated often to make sure delivery was at a good time for us. They followed up with us to make sure the equipment was ok. They gave us instructions on type of fuel stabilizer needed. In todays world where you consider it good service if they dont drop the ball, these guys went beyond what we expected. There were a few surprises from what we ordered online (which machine is available and taxes), but the surprises were always in our favor, good surprises. They do need to work out John Deere website transaction and how it works with the store and instructions on registering the warranty. It was all confusing that I was getting different info from John Deere than I was getting from the dealer. But everything ended up great. The communication discrepancies seems to be in the John Deere system instead of the dealer.
Very helpful & knowledgeable. So pleasing, nice people
I stopped in to look at a zero turn 10 minutes before they closed and it was a very unpleasant experience. They should have said leave, it would have been more pleasant. I tried to be understanding so I gave them a card and asked them to call me the next day to discuss what model would work best for me, and as of today no one has called. Two weeks later I stopped at Argo Power Sports for a great experience and explanation of the different products they offer. I would recommend you not stop at this TriGreen location if you want to buy anything.
Very nice & helpful
The guys in the service department are great. Very friendly and personable. They exceeded their commitment on when my lawn tractor would be ready and at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend them.
Great folks to work with!
We are new customers to TriGreen Equipment, but Andrew treated us as if we were a part of the family. He is knowledgeable, patient and takes the time to ensure that his customers are well informed and happy with their purchase. It’s rare nowadays for a sales representative to share their personal cell number and to follow-up with their customers after purchasing the product, but that’s what Andrew did for us. Stop by TriGreen and ask for Andrew - you’ll be happy that you did.
Andrew Christopher in sales is awesome! Helped me get my second commercial zero turn for my business at an amazing price. Check them out for any commercial or residential mowers, tractors, etc.
I recently purchased a John Deere zero turn mower from TriGreen in Pelham. Andrew Christopher was very helpful and knowledgeable and even personally delivered the mower to my home. The mower works great and I can now cut my grass in 35 minutes.
I tried to do business with these guys for two years and every time they either dropped the ball or showed me that they did not want my business. Im sorry but I cant recommend.
Great service from the whole team
I drove from South Carolina to do business with Andrew Christopher. When I called the dealership and asked questions, he answered them. He was willing to get the answers he didnt have, such as why the tractor had low hours. The whole experience was a good one. Jeremy, the store manager, made sure the delivery was quick and hassle free. If you are thinking about purchasing a John Deere, this would be the place to go, and Andrew Christopher is the one to ask for.
I researched tractors for over a year and kept coming back to Pelham as an option. This was my first tractor purchase and I couldnt be more pleased with my experience. This was a big purchase for our family and all the aspects of what you would expect in maybe buying a new car werent there. There was no pressure, no sales tactic, no hidden fees. The PO I signed was the same as the original proposal. Other places that provided proposals had Other fees that added up. I recommend TriGreen in Pelham.
Andrew Christopher at Tri-Green equipment In PelhamDid a great job helping us with our Gator 590 UTV purchase today.
They didnt have both of the riding lawnmowers we were interested in possibly purchasing. We were directed to go to a rural Lowes.
I purchased a tractor from Trigreen of Pelham last week, the salesman (Andrew) was Polite and knowledgeable, the buying process was simple and straight forward He even helped load the trailer. Thanks again for the great tractor and wonderful buying experience .
I took my D110 lawn tractor in for service. They replaced the drive belt and two pulleys which took three weeks. A portion of the $270.88 bill was a $24.32 environmental fee. I called TriGreen and was told this was a corporately-mandated fee based on the bill amount for cleaning supplies such as rags. This is a totally ridiculous amount for disposing of one belt, two pulleys and dirty rags. It only costs a few dollars per tire to dispose of car tires, so this is clearly a sneaky way to stick it to the customer. This fee was never mentioned when I was given the estimate. A $5.00 fee would be reasonable, but not $24.32. If it is based on the bill, would a $500.00 bill include a $50.00 fee? Dont bother posting a reply to say sorry you were screwed and try to have me contact someone. Im done. Wont be back. Ever.
Andrew was great to work with and very friendly. Would highly recommend!
BrandonHelp me select the Tractor best for my needs. Gave me more than a fair price for my old Tractor. Delivery to my farm and showed me all the special features. And the best part there was no pressure.
Great service!
TriGreen is your one stop shop for all your outdoor needs! Karlee in parts was very helpful and Dan in sales explained everything in detail! What you see is what you get. Best business around!
The front desk has great customer service, super nice and helpful. Brittnie helped me with everything I needed and answered all my questions. I will definitely be seeing her for any future needs!
In this stange time vehicles are sometimes hard to find. Even though I didnt live in the area and not much hope of repeat business Brandon went way above and beyond to help me get the tractor I needed. I wish all stores had employees like Brandon
This is my favorite John Deere Dealership! As soon as you walk in you feel very welcome and the sales team is excellent. I wouldnt go anywhere else.
Ordered Lawn Equipment from this location yesterday... it was a hefty purchase but they ensured I was getting the best for my money and answered every question I had!!
Guys were super helpful. Helped me and my boyfriend sign up for a card interest free for 24 months that way we could afford the John Deere zero turn mower we needed for our lawn. Yard cuts went from 3 hrs to 20 minutes!
Bought a used 3032 from Brandon and the tractor had a few small issues. Talked about the problem and traded it back in on a new 3025 for just a few more dollars. Should have went with new to begin with. My bad.He even delivered it to me in Georgia. Much better service than agpro that is right here.Thank you TriGreen Pelham!
Brandon was very helpful when it came time for me to buy a new tractor. He is not only knowledgeable about tractors but, also what they are used for -- great guy. I would recommend anyone to Brandon and Trigreen!
Customer service was excellent. Felt very comfortable with my questions and I believe the lady who greeted me and showed great hospitality was Brittnie.
Addendum: Tri green Pelham came and picked up zero turn that still wouldn’t start after we spent $313 on winter servicing in February. Their answer to every problem is to change the battery...wasn’t the issue. Sent us a bill for $43 which we paid promptly. When I spoke to Colby again about them still having to come pick up the D110 because it was burning oil badly he said we should not have been charged for service on zero turn. (He tore up the check when he received it) I explained that if the D110 needed a new engine we were not going to spend the money and was assured if it needed a new engine Tri green would replace it. (We had just spent $636 for winter service, and it had never burned oil before). Once they diagnosed that either the piston or entire engine needed to be replaced...something like $500 - $850, Will the service manager called to give us the news. I told him what Colby had said...said he would talk to him and get back to us...never did. Corporate Tri green did call me after last review and were understanding of issues. I had told them how Colby was really working to make things right. Problem is Colby works for Will. We will never buy another John Deere and definitely never use Pelham for service. Can’t imagine I got the only 2 lemons!!!!
Good place
Excellent service, looked my parts up quickly and had In stock. Highly recomended
This place is an absolute joke! I spent over $50,000 on a tractor that was advertised as one thing and I received something completely different. The ad stated the tractor had 30 hours on it and like new condition. I talked with the salesman and he confirmed the ad and told me how nice the tractor was and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. So, I purchased the tractor and had it shipped to Pennsylvania were I reside. The tractor showed up with more than 8 times the amount of hours on it, and was certainly not like new. It was scratched and gouged all over (not like the pictures showed), the slow moving vehicle sign was broken off, a piece is broken out of the fender, the four-wheel drive light is on all the time and the four-wheel drive doesnt even work. There were also other options I had the dealer install on the tractor that wasnt on it when it arrived. The salesman doesnt return my calls or emails after he assures me he will get back to me. The total experience has been awful!!! It appears that legal action will now be our only recourse. Very unfortunate. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!
I took my x500 in for servicing due to the oil pressure light coming on after about 15 minutes of use. The following summarizes my experience.- Took it to the service department early to mid summer which is most likely their busiest time.- Took them 3-4 weeks to get to and repair the mower.- The repair was significant and cost around $1,000.00.- Upon receiving my mower back, I used it one time and the oil pressure light came on again - just like it did prior to the repair.- I returned it to the service department.- After some diagnosis, they determined numerous problems with the engine and recommended replacement of the engine.- After 3-4 additional weeks, I picked up my mower today. So, why the five star review? Heres why:- TriGreen immediately recognized that the delays in getting to my machine was abnormal and not my fault. As such, they made it possible for me to take care of my lawn during this period. Ill leave it at that because I fully expect this is not standard practice for them nor would I suggest it be.- Upon realizing that my engine needed to be replaced and that the mower was outside of the warranty period, they were proactive in devising a plan. They had contacted Jon Deere and convinced them to 1) provide the engine at cost and 2) pay for half of that cost. TriGreen also agreed to handle the labor and pay for a significant portion of the remaining cost of the engine. That plan was in place before they contacted me.- Because my second visit (the replacement of the engine) took an additional 3-4 weeks, TriGreen again made it possible for me to take care of my lawn - on more than one occasion.- Upon picking up my mower, TriGreen agreed to handle the balance of the engine replacement (everything that John Deere did not cover). So, I had no additional out of pocket costs.- The machine even had a full tank of gas when I got it back.- The service staff (Judy and Morgan) were pleasant, patient, and understanding every step of the way, and it seemed like we talked several times per week.- The icing on the cake was that the service technician that installed the new engine loaded the machine on my trailer. After loading, he took time out of his morning to stop and apologize to me for the delays in getting the machine repaired. So, in summary, my 5 star rating is not because it was a perfect situation. In fact, if you are dealing with the service department, theres likely a problem from the very start. To be clear, they had my machine for roughly 2 months in the peak of the cutting season. So, this was certainly less than desirable.Instead, my 5 star rating is how they chose to handle the situation.- They were polite, courteous, and understanding at every point.- They certainly did not have to make it possible for me to take care of my lawn on no less than 4 occasions.- They did not have to go to bat for me with John Deere. To be clear, I never once spoke with John Deere myself.- They did not have to agree to handle the balance of the replacement outside of what John Deere did not cover. So, I would encourage anyone dealing with the service department to be patient and give them a chance. It certainly seems to be that they want to do the right thing. Dont get me wrong, I hope not to see them again for a very long time; but, when that time comes, I would not hesitate to return.
Just got my second tractor. Brandon has been great to work with and has always taken care of my tractor needs! I have also had great experiences buying Stihl equipment from the parts department. Highly recommend them!
Brittnie, Dan, Karlee have great customer service 👌🏽
FRONT DESK WAS WONDERFUL AND HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Parts department was fast and easy to do business with
Received great information from the front customer service employee!
First time looking at and now owning a tractor, Brandon and Taylor were amazing. Found out the needs I had and showed me what I would need now as oppose to buying a bunch of things I was looking at that I wouldnt use or need. Taylor completely walked me through how tractor works with all the bells and whistles. Made sure I was comfortable. Delivered my tractors. Extremely friendly would recommend to anyone, especially people that arent as educated on these tractors. They take their time and very helpful.
I first gave a 1 star because I had to keep taking my lawnmore back and forth before they finally fixed it properly so I am going to leave it at a 3 star. If they can get better in the future I will rate it higher.
Brandon and all the parts people have been awesome. Service is an entirely different story. I can honestly say, I have never had a good service experience. Currently my tractor, JD 1025r is in the service department. Went in to arrange its release after being quoted over 10k for a new engine on a 1.5 yr old tractor purchased at TriGreen. After paying an over 300.00 bill for diagnostics, I looked at my tractor and there were parts missing. Service writer claimed it came in missing those parts, side panels, SCV boot, and until I clearly inspect I have no clue what else is missing. That was a fully assembled tractor when TriGreen picked it up, I expect when it is delivered this Thursday that it will have ALL parts since I have a new engine already purchased.I do appreciate the help from Lauren at Customer Service, but IO still have unresolved issues. When my tractor was returned to me there were no headlight bulbs. Are you kidding me, no light bulbs. How childish to remove the light bulbs, and I still feel they took me to the cleaners on charges to diagnose. When customer service called the Pelham store service department, they claimed that they removed the head, hood, etc to truly evaluate the extent of the damage. Nope, they didnt. While I was removing the old engine, it was obvious that none of the head bolts or other bolts on the top end of the engine were touched. All that they did was remove the front drive shaft, and drop the pan. If it took more than 1 hr, I would be shocked. It took me less than 2 hrs to remove the entire engine. Lauren, you have my number and V-Mails, can you call me so we can figure out how to make the rest of this OK?
Customer service was great thank you Brittnie for all of your help.I look forward to doing business with you in the future.
Parts prices are ridiculously high. Not necessarily TriGreens fault. All JD parts departments are like this. I will order equivalent parts online for a whole lot less.
If they had any level of customer service I would give it half a star just because they had no trouble processing my payment. You know its bad when you buy a piece of equipment and they act like they are doing you a favor for providing it.
I came here to buy a lawn mower on a Saturday. Fully expected to leave with one. The ONLY sales person was busy with a customer, but made us aware and then the service manager came over and tried to help us until the sales person could. I picked out the lawn mower I wanted and the guy told me he would call another store to see if he could get out shipped to them and I could pick it up. He took my name and number and was supposed to call me back in a few days. He never did. I called them because I really needed a loan mower. He was busy again. And Im guessing hes the only person in sales there. So they took my name and number again and said they would have him call. He never did. So I ended up going to a local hardware store and buying a lawn mower. Terrible customer service on his part. Tall young kid with red hair.
I have purchased 3 JD tractors from TriGreen and every time Brandon went above and beyond on making the deal work for my family and also that the machine was right for the job! Can’t say enough good things about TriGreen!
I buy and service all my lawn and home equipment here. I have no complaints. Well its not free but thats the price I pay to keep them in business so I can get what I want, when I want it.
I went to trigreen in Pelham was approved for loan.? I picked out tractor. Sales man told me they had to repair a part on tractor. It was about four weeks before they got it ready then when it was to be delivered on Friday I could not get it due to tires bad. I I was told different days it might be ready never could get a diffent date we gave up. Not happy with service
Awesome place for maintenance on equipment.
Very helpful finding the part I needed.
By far the worst experience at this location. I bought a $71,000 skid and another one for $66,000 and yet like someone else mentioned in here they act like they are doing you a favor, I bought a e327 that was just junk they delivered it with four hours and started having problems at hour number 6 and nothing but problems at hour number 142 three or four months later I pointed out my problems and Steve the sales man was amazing he offered to take my machine and give me full value for it and gave me the 331, that machine has been amazing it’s had little things here and there but it’s normal for a new machine Steve took care of it. Steve send out two different techs and both of them are amazing they speak to you with respect make you feel that they are concern about getting you up and going, now I wish I can say the same for the two people behind the service department I have been there couple hand fulls of times with issues with my first machine and couple on the new 331 but what I cannot get over with is the same treatment I always get. I feel like I got to bring a spoon and spoon the words out of the ladies mouth never happy to help my and every time I come in all she talks is if warranty will cover it IF WARRANTY...... and can never stand there and look at you and take an order it always has to be as if I’m there to bother her she never takes the time to listen or to try to help all she is at that company at least to me is a darn robot name phone number and will call you ....... bobcat was speaking the truth when they told me trigreen has horrible customer service and top top this off the manager in the back the bold headed man won’t bother to repack you as a customer he is very short with words and doesn’t care to make you even feel that he gives a rats a.. about your problems with the machine and I never say anything because I figure if I do I’ll be delayed even more he makes me feel as if I was a part of his buddy system he would attend to my equipment or even sound like he cares just a little better. Reason of this unhappy msg is because I was told in Panama City Florida to bring my machine to tri-green where I bought and that warranty should cover the loose plate where the hoses connect into hydraulic fittings well I drove it up went inside and the manager is there I explain to him he said let’s go out side and look, I explained the male fitting is sitting on a little angle and it’s really hard for me to put my hoses on takes me a good 15 minutes and a good fight to get them in I address that issue when it was dropped of for the first time i addressed the issue that two screws were missing and that driver wrote it down on paperwork, he said well I’m not going to get up there and look at it and I’m not going to have my guys get up there to look at it because it’s a liability, I asked anyway I can leave machine so we can see if it can be fixed he gets a little attitude and say I cannot because how would you feel if I put someone else in front of you I have 8 jobs waiting for service and I cannot put you in front..... sir did I ask you to move me in front ? He said no sir! Why are you putting words in my mouth? I thought he replied So I told him every time I come here you make sure to make me feel as if my business is not wanted here I mentioned to him that I have a total of almost 140,000 in debt to John Deere and if John Deere did not want my business or felt that we shouldn’t be treated like every other customer they should have never given me the credit line, this man has been working for this company to long along with other employees, why should a customer feel nervous about walking in for anything at this location. If you have a problem with people who are not Caucasian you should not represent the image of this company who has been around for years and will stay in business for years to come. You sir do not get paid to pick who you will give good service too and who you will not, all three of my Caucasian employees have come to your service department and you always treat them as you should,
Bought a x738 lawnmower online elected to have it delivered a week later. So I took off on the Monday that it was supposed to be delivered between 9 am and 12 pm. Waited till 1 pm still no lawnmower so I called the only number I had from online sale Brandon whoever. Called him left a message with my name what I bought asking why my lawnmower hadnt showed up. He calls me back tells me he is working at the fultondale store covering for someone has no idea what is going on thought I was someone complete different said he would call the pelham store to ask whats going on. So nearly an hour later he calls back to tell me they are rounding up a truck and a trailer to get my lawnmower over right away. Ok so its 2 pm no lawnmower wasted a day of vacation and not to mention I am literally like 10 miles from pelham store sitting at house 3 pm goes by no lawnmower finally at 345 I call pelham store very angry told them what was going on got transferred to service told them what was going on dont know who I talked to but he is arrogant. As is everyone that works with tri Green that I have talked with so far told me they were pitting lawn mower on trailer. So 410 pm no lawnmower delivery guy calls me says Im at so and so address which is the completely wrong address gave him the right address shows up 10 minutes later then has nerve to tell me the pelham store had no idea the lawnmower I ordered 9 days ago was supposed to be delivered that morning. After I told him I wàsted a day a day vacation he looks at me and tells you better be glad we got this when we did cause if it was close to 5pm you wouldnt have got this. So needless to say I will never do business with these arogant clowns buy or service I will make sure everyone I work with who buys and sells tractors on a regular basis will not do business either. Through this whole ordeal I never got one single apology.
Really nice folks very helpful and prices very competitive
Great Customer Service!!! Love this place !!!
This facility has the worst and most irresponsible unprofessional arrogant sales people I encountered any where around in particular this one called Brandon, I was interested in couple of the tractors they had a while back and the hot shot brushed me off and said When I get what you want I will call you, and he did not even ask me about my phone #, I left the store knowing that I will not hear from him again, now 3 months later I tried to reach other sales and left my contact #, but no one called back, and no one replied to my email inquiry, and looking at other reviews I see that many others share the same experience of rudeness, and all the replys from this company says call the corporate office, this tells me either the corporate office can not do any thing with their attitudes or this sales man does not give a dam about the corporate, I know one thing I will not trust any thing these salesmen say, and because of their irresponsible and unprofessional behavior they are not fit to purchase any thing from them or any other TriGreen affiliated dealer ship since corporate can not do any thing with this hot shot Brandon and company.
Very helpful.
Teribble customer service. They just want to rush you to buy something and get out the door. Not professional.
Helpful parts dept.
Great service . Nice folks to deal with
Great service. thanks
Friendly and Great Service
The rigs looked like theyve been sitting in the sun for months. Seats were filthy. Prices seemed high for what you get also.
Rude! Would give them negative stars for customer Service if it was possible!
Salesman was nice and helpful
Very helpful
Service department is unprofessional and will not stand behind there work...
Great service
Absolutely terrible.
