I hope you guys realize that there’s only a handful of us trying to service all of New England. Why would someone write a negative review in 2021 on a bad experience from 2009 to slander our business that is a dying breed. I don’t know Sarah personally. But I no from over the years from my current customers that she has serviced in the past that she does great work!Try to be mindful of how you give your reviews in our industry because once were no longer around it’s going to be secondhand service from fanatics that watched YouTube University And are asking questions on forum on how to repair games. None of us are perfect and I have experienced customers myself that think just because they bought a game for $500 that they shouldn’t spend any more than $500 to get it fixed and looking brand spanking new. I’m sorry to inform you it does not work that way. When you buy a vehicle for $1000 you know you’re gonna have to put some work in. That’s the same way with video games and pinball machines. My suggestion. Ask for a total quote first before you get into business with someone. Don’t just blindly ask one of us that does home or commercial repairs to come out and when you receive a bill get surprised because travel and labor and obsolete parts that are hard to find cost money$$$ I appreciate Sarah and all of the other teams out there in New England trying to keep the arcade machines and pinball machines from the 70s and 80s and 90s alive! I will give five stars to anybody that gives a negative review on any of them unless you’ve really been cheated recently. Don’t give me a story from 10 years ago please that issue should’ve been settled long ago. Feel free to write a negative review on my page the level the playing field. #Family looks out for family’
Had Sarah come to repair some games in my shop back in 2009. What she did was send an employee who did not fix it. Then she shows up and tries but cant fix it. At no point in time do either of them tell me what the costs involved would be.So then she hits me with a $800 bill and the game(s) still dont work. I hired you because I thought you were a reputable repair shop that would be honest about what is going on. At no point did you communicate how things were going, only that you didnt have the parts amd would be back. If you dont think something is or should be fixed, you tell the customer before you run up a bill on them. That type of pattern is what unscrupulous auto repair shops do to car owners.Since then I have dealt with many, many fellow members of the arcade classics community who have all said the same thing. You are hustling customers who think there are no other coin-op machine repair people. Shame on you. Why do you think your arcade folded in Pelham…..? She set all games to max difficulty and set the prices to at least $0.75-1.00/play.Within the coin op community there are many repair people who possess your skills. Those looking for repairs take extra time to dig on the internet and there are several repair people here in NH who will be up front and communicate clearly about how the service is being carried out AHEAD OF TIME. Looking back - if Sarah pulls this maneuver just dont pay. Its not like she can break in and repo your machine.
Sarah has been servicing my slot machine and asteroids game for 20 years. She is awesome!!
The quality of work is second to none in the arcade business.
Sarah was fantastic! Prompt, clean service. Gave me some free repair tips to try on my own for the future. Highly recommended
