I live downtown and drive all the way to Pelham to visit this location rather than the location in Homewood or Cahaba Heights. The staff in Pelham is simply better, WAY more customer service oriented and they truly care about my purchases (which I have made many). Your other two stores could learn so much from that location and how its ran. I wont step foot in them.

I found everyone in the shop in Pelham to be very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and professional. I love my Trek Fuel EX 7. I was especially impressed with the way they gave my bike a thorough once over for a final tuneup on the day I left to return home to Louisiana after I rode it on Oak Mountain trails for two days after I bought it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Everywhere was totally out of 24” boys bikes - except Cahaba Cycles! We decided on the Trek Precaliber. We called and explained our predicament with the upcoming birthday. Cahaba Cycles is a great bike shop. They were very attentive. They took the time to allow me to test ride bikes to get the proper fit. When I wavered on the size (because it felt like I was between sizes), they had 2 of the bikes I wanted delivered — one a 56, the other a 58. The helmet I purchased from there, a Bontrager Specter WaveCel, protected me from what would have certainly been a serious accident and thus provided further proof that Cahaba Cycles has awesome products.

Max was an awesome sales person! Took care of my needs on the purchase of my NEW Verve Trek. I talked to him about shorts which he explained differences in them & even sold me on a water bottle holder for the bike. Did I mention the 3 yr service warranty I puchased as well to keep my bike in tip top shape (discounted if you get it when purchasing a new bike). He showed me the hitch bike racks which will be a future purchase at some time. Staff is friendly & even stayed open for me to get there after closing to pick up my new purchase!

Stopped by looking for a bike for my 7 year old grandson. Planning on an 18 inch frame, like I had seen in Target. Salesman showed me a much better quality 20 in Trek that will fit well for 2 years or more.Sharp looking bike and he’s now the fastest rider on our street.

Friendly helpful people that always try to work with me and get me what I need at a fair price. Probably the largest selection of bikes and parts on hand in the area so if you get in a bind and need something right away there is a good chance they have it. Very knowledgeable guys. A little short staffed due to COVID-19. Very strict on their social distancing requirements. They have caution tape blocking off the entrance with signs letting customers know they must wear a mask, and must wait outside until a sales rep comes outside to get you. (A little overboard in my opinion, but many folks would probably appreciate the extra measures they have taken.)

Great staff, Ive gotten great service on my bike almost every time, even when I badly bent my rim they were able to true it nearly perfectly. They also have a pretty good selection of accessories and clothing. I would definitely recommend this bike shop.

First visit, cashier pushed purchasing a $400+ gps device pretty hard at checkout. All I needed we’re some small essentials. 2nd visit, needed tube changed. That same day the tire went flat again. Took it to a competitor who showed me I had a pinched tube. So Cahaba either didn’t replace the tube and charged me for the part and labor, or installed it wrong. Vibe in there in general was off.

Despite how overwhelmed they were due to recent demand for bikes, the personal service I received and their attention to detail were phenomenal. When I picked up my bike, John took time with me and made sure I had everything I needed to get started. I’ll definitely be sticking with these guys for anything bike-related.

My husband and I bought our bicycles at Cahaba Cycles a couple of years ago. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We took the bikes in for a tune up and a tire repair for a broken air valve. Repair was completed in 3 days and for a reasonable price. We wouldn’t take our bikes anywhere else.

Bought a new Trek Marlin 6 from this store a little over a week ago and was very happy with the experience. They were super helpful. I was looking for a particular size frame and they did everything they could to find me one in stock between all stores. They even let me demo a much more expensive bike in the same frame size when they didnt have the model I was looking for. After a couple laps in the parking lot, a rep came out with the model I was looking for in a size slightly smaller and suggested it was better for my height. I gave it a go and turns out he was right. I was much happier with the 19.5 frame vs the 21.5 I was looking for. He was also very informative about sales and offers they had going on with a new bike purchase. Overall, it was a great experience!If you want a good bike thats better than what you get at a big box store, Cahaba cycles is the place to go!

Jason and George were very helpful today, and I felt I got a great deal on a bike rack. . And Chris at Homewood didn’t have what I needed but called the other store for me. Also, though this happened some years ago, saw my old friend John (mgr) at Pelham Cahaba today. He probably doesn’t remember, but John gave me an emergency repair on. Sunday when I had a cable stretch, and got me back on the road. Always helpful at Cahaba!

The service department not only does excellent work, they are honest and fair. They hung in until after hours on Friday night to get my bike back on the road for my weekend rides. It is always a pleasure to do business with these guys.

I have exclusively been coming to Cahaba Cycles for the past 2 years. First to the Homewood location, and now the Oak Mountain location. My experience at Oak Mountain is just as top notch as I expected it to be. George has been incredible to work with helping me choose my first mountain bike, Brandon was really awesome when it came time to service my current road bike, and Jen was great to work with when I randomly dropped in to talk about helmets and pedals!

Between my wife and I we have now bought a total of four bikes from Cahaba cycle. They have all been perfectly fitted for our size and we were recommended to purchase the best bike for its category even if the best in class was not the most expensive.All of them were perfectly assembled and have given us no trouble. No point in risking our money on any other bike shop for us!
