James was absolutely a gentleman and performed very professionally and efficiently. He was both personable and very much the professional conveying confidence and knowledge in explaining what was needed and what he would be doing for us to correct the issue. We greatly appreciated meeting him and thank One Hour for sending him. In addition, he was able to come about 4 hours earlier than planned, but accommodated our schedule. In his efficiency, he accomplished the work very quickly.In addition, I want to give a two thumbs up and a most grateful thank you for the kindness and efficiency of the ladies who take the calls and convey the information. Thank you, dear ladies. They are part of the reason that I would use One Hour again.

In all, they had poor consistency between employees and the price you pay should lead to better quality. We completely replaced our AC unit 4 months ago and it broke. When we replaced our AC they were fairly quick to diagnose the problem and send a salesman to sale us a new unit. They also came that night to install it. When they installed it they said it would only take a few hours… it took much longer than this and they were at our house until midnight however we were just thankful to have a working unit. After the fact, I looked at prices of AC units and realized it was on the more expensive end however I figured the quick turnaround time was worth it.Now this brand new unit breaks 4 months later, again they are quick to send someone to diagnose the problem. This time however it is under warranty and I was told they couldn’t fix it until the next morning (which is not the case when installing an entire unit and making a sale). They said they would return the next morning. They gave me an 8am-11am window. The next day I call at 8:30 and they say it will actually be that afternoon. They eventually come however it was several hours later. I stayed home from work to be there but I could have actually gone in because how delayed it was. Our warranty covered the unit but all in all frustrated with the delays and inconsistency in service. Not to mention the unit they originally placed didn’t last 6 months before breaking.

Aaron Anderson was my technician, not only did he come after hours to help me out, but he did an amazing job. He diagnosed my ac problems and had my air conditioner working in less than 30 minutes. Kip the technician is very personable and very professional. He called before he arrived and was actually quite a bit earlier then planned but that was all right. He was able to troubleshoot a minor problem with the ultraviolet light device which is attached to my air conditioning duct system and he replaced the blown bulb. One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning technicians always do very good work. I trust the quality of the work that they do in my home. I recommend them highly.

I called up this company at 9 in the morning and they stated they would have a tech to arrive between 12 and 4 in the afternoon. My technician called me up at 10 and arrives at my house by 10:30 I was very impressed. My technician was very professional and did an awesome job. I was very impressed by this company due to Im a retired veteran and they give 10% discount for military veterans. I would use this company again and recommend them to everybody.

A new air conditioner was installed a couple of weeks ago by 2 other technicians.. A small issue occurred, and it needed repairing to complete the installation. Donny and Cody came out and did an awesome job! This company is very prompt with service calls. I appreciate them. I used them about 16 years ago and they provided great service then.

Our ac wasnt cooling the main level of the house. I called One Hour yesterday and received an appointment for the next day. The technician called and sent a text messagewith his picture before arriving at our home. Mr Isbell, our technician, arrived promptly and had the unit blowing cold air within minutes. I have two homes to care for currently & both have had multiple/expensive issues with the Air Condtioning Units.Aaron Anderson; the service technician for One Hour Air, was by far the most professional & best tech to come out & service both homes AC units. Quality service and great at trying to fix the problem before making the final decision

Our drain was clogged. They came out the same day and had it draining in 10 minutes. Small service fee and extremely fast response. I highly recommend 1Hour!

I have searched for a Heating and Air company that did business the way I consider it to be right. One Hour Air is incredibly good, allow me to share my experience with you all. I called at 4:30 on Friday of Labor Day Weekend hoping somebody would check my AC but not expecting very much. Well One Hour, unlike several other popular companies sent Sedeick out by 6:30 this same afternoon. I had asked my previous company if they could come check it if I pay extra that companies spokesperson said they were gonna close maybe next wednesday. Well Im so thankful that I called One Hr Air. Sedrick came out as I said, checked everything, I have peace of mind knowing the problem is with air corculation and not a mechanical failure. Sedrick offered what I felt like was a very fair maintenance plan $15 a month with 2 free visits a year. Also a discount on other service calls you cant beat that! After all this time, I now have an AC guy that I trust and I know will treat me right. I do my research, I know about Air systems and I know this is a very reasonable company. I feel quite safe telling you they will treat you right like they did for me. Thanks to One Hour Air and thanks to all of you for reading.

I explained the problem, they came out, charged me $79, and told me to call another AC company because they didnt want to work on my unit. Not fair to charge someone if you are not willing to do the repair.

I have a maintenance contract for regular inspections of my A/C and heating units. James Isbell, our tech today, provided excellent service, as usual. He has been to our home several times and knows exactly where every thing is. When we see James arrive, we know we are in good hands.

Keon is very mannerable individual and carries out his duties timely and professionally. I will always request Keon to come and maintain my A/C and heat because he is so respectable to this senior citizen.

I have an older AC system. Dave was a really good guy, and seemed to know a good amount about HVAC systems, but told me that my condenser coil was 90% blocked and couldn’t be cleaned without being removed. I went to ace hardware as soon as he left and spent 5 dollars on AC cleaning foam, removed the top of my unit and had the coils cleaned in 30 minutes. I felt like since I have an older unit, he was fixed on me replacing my unit rather than helping service what I do have. All in all i paid 55 dollar service fee and my ductwork was not inspected, my filter was not checked, my unit was not cleaned. The only thing that was done was opening up some panels on the unit and checking electrical aspects of it.

I was impressed from the beginning when David came to do the Estimates. Took a month or so in-between before I actually booked the appointment and within 2 days, JOB WELL DONE! I feel extremely Blessed, I switched Heating & Cooling Companies. Thank you David.

As a woman I am always worried about being ripped off by a technician, but Kip explained everything. He took the time to show me what the gauges and numbers on the meter meant. He also did not try to fill my ac unit with freon when it did not need it!! I am really thankful and appreciative of that and for that they have a customer for life.

Our unit stopped cooling and would only blow heat. Called One Hour Heating & Air and the technician stated that there was a best case scenario and a worst case scenario and that the reversing valve may be bad and that it would be $2,500 to fix before looking at the unit. After looking at the unit for 5 minutes he determined it was the worst case scenario. We are new homeowners and were taken advantage of, but the only reason this review isnt a 1 star is because we were able to get a refund promptly. The issue was a simple fix. Our thermostat had gone bad and we were able to return it for much less than $2,500. I appreciate that there are some honest companies still around. I will not be using One Hour Heating and Air again.

Chief was early, friendly and fast. This is the second time I have used this company and both times their service has been A1!

My technician was Kip. He was extremely professional and he thoroughly explained everything to me. If I need service or repair again (hopefully I wont) Kip is the only technician I want come out.

When there were hiccups he had good suggestions, and patiently dealt with Honeywell customer service with me. Educated me on my system (just bought this house) and gave me great advice. My AC problem was caused by my own incompetence while installing a new thermostat. I described to the technician what I was doing prior to the problem. He climbed into the attic and came down thirty seconds later and said that should fix it and it did. Blown fuse. He had spare fuses in his pocket before he went up. I couldnt be happier.

My AC stopped working on Friday night. Called Saturday morning, Mya (courteous & professional) scheduled me for late Saturday afternoon. (4-8pm) Kip was able to come early, found the problem, verified I wanted repairs (have warranty with company cannot reach), & repaired the problem, leaving me with broken part to show other company. Just a great experience & my house is no longer 79 degrees inside.

The installTech was personal, professional and knowledgeable. The install was professionally done and work area was left clean and neat. The Tech went over the new features of the heating unit and provided the details on how to operate the new unit. We were very pleased with the work performed by this Tech.

My unit wasn’t heating properly so I called for this company to come out. The gentleman arrived and asked what was going on with the unit. After explaining he immediately diagnosed the issue without taking a look at anything. He poked around a little bit and then immediately told me I was going to need $8,000-$10,000 worth of work. I had another company come out and they fixed the issue for $75.00.

I can’t say enough about One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating. We purchased an old Victorian house in Birmingham and the day we moved in the air conditioner broke. We knew it was on its last leg but were hoping to push it a few months. Called One Hour as I was a long time, satisfied customer from Ohio. They were extremely responsive. Jeff “Chief” came out and was incredibly honest, forthright and guided us throughout the process. He tried to fix the existing unit but it really wasn’t worth investing more money into it. We had a new air conditioner and furnace installed that day and we slept cool and comfortably that night! We have had them come back and clean and repair the ducts and vents. Just like our experience in Ohio, Chief and One Hour fully diagnosed the issue, gave us our options and never tried to sell us something we did not need. I couldn’t recommend a more trusted company and can’t say enough about Chief, Aaron and the rest of the team at One Hour.

Keon and Mr. Jeff stayed and worked on my installation diligently in the heat and the rain! They were straightforward about my concerns or to educate me on the installation process going on in my home. They were also mindful of social distancing measures and being masked up whenever I was around. What put the cherry on top of the cake was when Mr. James (my original repairman) came back after his long day of repairs to ensure I was satisfied with my work. I have used this serviced multiple times, and I am BEYOND happy with the customer service reps and staff. I know I will be using them again for all my service needs!!

I have had issues every winter since my heat pump was installed in 2018. Everyone that came out to service the problem was wonderful! However, it kept repeating itself and did so again this year. On my 3rd service call this go around Chief showed up. I cant say enough about his determination to get to the root of the problem. Years of knowledge finally saved the day!! They called to tell me they were coming for my appointment while I was on a business conference call, and then didn’t come because I didn’t answer the phone (no voice mail). I had to reschedule when I called them 20 minutes later, after I got off the call. Which, coincidentally, would have been what time they would have arrived. This is the second time they have done this to me.

Had issue repaired in about fifteen minutes.Sedric was very polite and professional.

While cost may be a little more, they are worth it for the awesome service and professional care they give.
