Our stores roof top unit quit on us, and we were stuck waiting for paperwork to process and scheduling of a crane and replacement AC unit. I called Portable Air to request a temporary cooling unit to keep our employees comfortable in the interim. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable about what size units and how many we needed to accommodate our sq. footage. The SAME day I received a quote to conveniently docusign, and the units were promptly installed. Throughout the 2 weeks I rented from them, they were very courteous and responsive. I will definitely be calling them in the future and referring others to their company. Thank you for saving us from the heat!!

Portable AC made it easy to resolve my AC problem. When our landlord was slow to replace a unit, I called 3 other businesses looking for help. Unfortunately, I called Portable AC last, not first. They promptly delivered 2 units within a few hours of my call, were very professional and friendly AND priced right! They will be my first call when I have AC issues, from now on!

We recently rented some misting fans for an outdoor event. Initially there were some problems with the fans operations and a misunderstanding about their effectiveness. Portable Air reached out to us in order to understand the issues and listened to our complaints and suggestions. They made a sincere effort to learn from our suggestions and they made things right. They are really client focused and attentive and were very responsive throughout the entire process from order to delivery.

***UPDATE***9/25/19I am raising the review from my previous 1 star rating; The upper management quickly called us to discuss the issues we had. They seemed genuinely interested in what went wrong and how things could be improved not just for us but for other customers as well.Needless to say, they took care of their customer and they made it right with us.Great customer service.9/24/19This past weekend I hosted a 40th wedding anniversary for my parents, my father insisted that the outdoor area had air chillers so we rented 4 oscillating chillers. When the event started and throughout the day only one of the chillers was misting the rest would not function. Additionally, one would not oscillate. (I have video proof of this)All in all Our guests were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and literally had their shirts drenched in sweat. I would not recommend renting this unreliable equipment.

Great service, good for our customers and good for our business. Wayne and the guys take great care to keep the equipment ready and nice. Don’t have to worry about them doing direct business unless you want them to. There are a great business partner.

After flooding from Harvey, we had been operating our southwest Houston theater, The Company OnStage, without insulation and sheetrock as we awaited the funding to come through for final repairs. As the temperatures rose at the end of May, the space got unbearably hot, even with our main AC running at full power. Portable AC provided us a quote for a unit that was several hundred less than their competitor and the personal level of service was outstanding. Within hours of giving them a call we had the unit in place and running, saving us from having to cancel our afternoon performances. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks for keeping us cool!
