Cake Dreams Bakery has been my favorite bakery since I was 16, I now order my son’s cake’s from here! Very talented baker’s with Quality cakes for reasonable price. The cakes here are delicious.Totally recommend butter cream icing and with chocolate icing on the inside!

I ordered a special request cake with cupcakes to go with for my baby shower and was so nervous of what the cake might turn out to be with this request. When I saw it for the first time I was SO happy with how it came out! It looked just like the picture! The only thing I would have liked to have changed were the fish on the side to be colored, but overall, I loved it! It tasted amazing and had cute sprinkles inside, too!

I ordered custom wedding shower sugar cookies. They were beautifully decorated, but tasted terrible. Not one hint of sweetness, they tasted like I was biting into flour. Very dissatisfied in the taste.

I reached out 10 days before my daughters birthday for a custom cake. Spoke to the lady over the phone and she said she was closed but to send her an email. Sent her an email with a picture of the cake I wanted. No response. Tried again with another email 2 days later and no response. I tried to buy local, but the customer service was lack of. I found another bakery that was able to accommodate my last minute needs.

Our wedding cake they made for us was delicious and beautiful. I highly recommend them if you want a beautiful cake.

I am providing a review from a variety of desserts I have tried from Cake Dreams Bakery. I will start with their pecan pie. Now, being born and raised in the great state of Texas I have had my fair share of pecan pies. That being said., they definitely hold their own against the competition. I have also tried their cake pops, macarons, and their cakes. Each time I have had a house full of happy guests with these delights. The staff is always very helpful and polite. I tried a brownie and a sugar cookie from this place.I could tell the brownie was dry just by looking at it.I scraped off the edge and the brownie was a bit moist but not very good. The cookie was dry and tasteless.

I bought a 2 layer cake for my husband’s birthday a while back. It was a Dallas Cowboys designed cake. Once I received the cake it was nice at best but I didnt understand why I did not get it in a box that closed. I asked for something to cover the top of the cake but the cake lady said that they didnt have anything to cover the top of the cake. I drove away with the cake and once I arrived at my destination the cake was leaning. Then when I attempted to take it into the venue for my husband’s birthday party it crumbled. I ended up just leaving it in the car because it crumbled and looked terrible. I will never buy a cake or any other desserts from this place again. Go to Sugar Rush instead, they are much better at making cakes that don’t crumble during a car ride and put your cake in a good quality covered box.

If I could rate less than 1 I would. The cake we purchased was beautiful but that’s the only good thing I have to say. Before we got through the parking lot the cake wobbled so bad we thought it was going to fall. My sister drove about 10 miles an hour and we prayed until we arrived at our destination. When we set the cake out it was leaning! When we removed tier 3 and tier 2 there was No cardboard support between the layers. My nephew had to get a plate to set the layers on. I stopped by today to discuss it (I called Saturday from the venue) and she told me the cake was not leaning, that it was the table. (I had photos). She said a multi tier cake is supposed to wobble! When I told her there was no cardboard support between the layers she told me ‘that’s impossible ‘.I can tell you I am not a liar and there were other hostesses of the shower to confirm all of this!I will never use her again!!

Cupcakes: dry even though there was a pudding substance in the Italian cream cake. The icing was very good.Cake balls: very good. The icing was super thin on them, but they were a good bite.Service: friendly. Not knock your socks off oh man they are super nice friendly, but it was sufficient.Will I visit again? Probably not. There are at least 2 other cupcake stores with better cupcakes

Cake Dreams graciously saved my friends daughters wedding! The cake that was previously ordered arrived in shambles! Cake Dreams could not repair the ruined cake that was brought to the their store after hours. They worked over night during a holiday weekend and delivered a beautiful cake on Sunday before the noon wedding that was relocated last minute due to Hurricane Harvey! They are awesome!

I ordered a delightful cake for my daughters bridal shower and cupcakes. The cake was so smooth, I thought it was fondant. But it wasnt! It was delicious, buttercream icing! Not too sweet and a wonderful addition to the Italian cream cake! Staff and owner are very sweet and helpful! There were fondant polka dots on the cake and I believe they were the marshmallow fondant-sweet, light and totally edible!

I ordered a dozen and a half of cupcakes. They were beautiful and delicious. These were the best cupcakes I have eaten in a long time. I dont care for icing, but their icing was amazing. Each cupcake has a filling that correlates with the flavor of cake. They put sprinkles and edible beads on each cupcake with various color themes (pink for strawberry, brown for chocolate, red for red velvet, etc.). I was really pleased. The price was much less than expected as well. These cupcakes were not for an event, just to enjoy at home and they were beautiful. Also, I think these are new owners and not the same people associated with Cakelicious Bakery that used to be there. The cupcakes and icing are much better. These reviews look fishy. Its always great to see the business owner weigh-in and try to make the previous customers feel, needed and desired as repeat customer. I have notice no response form the owners here. Which leaves many questions. One being are the items any good ! People read these reviews !

Unfortunately this cake was no dream at all. I purchased one of the smaller cakes as a walk in. It was my sons 19th birthday we had his girlfriend and my family all celebrating with us that evening. Out of 10 people only one person said that the cake wasnt bad the rest said they couldnt even eat it because it had a funny taste they couldnt past. I was glad that I purchased some Kit Kat ice cream and had enough for everyone to enjoy. Needless to say I was very very disappointed in my decision to purchase a cake from this Bakery

Cake Dreams met my high expectations. They created a beautiful Mickey Mouse cake, I couldn’t be any happier with their work. The cake tasted amazing so moist and such delightful taste .My guests couldn’t get enough they loved it . They are definitely the BEST at making custom cakes in Pearland.

Was really looking forward to trying the cupcakes from this bakery after reading some great reviews online. So, for my great-aunts birthday, my wife went and bought half a dozen cupcakes. She said the bakery smelled great and was nicely decorated. All the cupcakes were different flavors so we all cut the cupcakes into pieces. The cupcakes were decorated simply but could have been better since they were $2.50 each. The taste: HORRIBLE! These were the most dry, tasteless and disgusting cupcakes we have ever eaten. They were so tasteless that we couldnt distinguish some of the flavors. The icing was so sugary and tasted worse than store bought. This bakery was such a disappointment. We ended up throwing all the cupcakes in the trash. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else. We will never come here again.

My guests were wowed by this beautiful red velvet cake I ordered for my daughters 8th birthday! She wanted a picture of kittens on it, so the lady and I googled the image, and it was done on time and just flawless. My daughter was beside herself with joy!I cant eat gluten but everyone told me how great it was. I just read CakeDreams also does gluten free cakes, so I know where Ill get our next gorgeous dessert!! ❤

Five stars for this terrific find! Worth a trip to Pearland! Staff is professional and friendly, and they will work with you to create a signature cake. Wonderful cupcakes made fresh daily, cake balls and cookies. Ask about their catering, too - authentic Brazilian specialties. Everything is made fresh from scratch, and the price is right. Kudos to the staff for their great service! Im a fan.

I called on a Friday around 1 (5/27/2016) to ask how long in advance they needed for a dozen cake balls. Never asked to put in an order or when I needed them. A lady tells me very quickly- Were not taking anymore orders for the week. Never answered my question so I guess they just didnt want my business. Disappointing.

Walmart cakes and cupcakes taste better and you will pay less. I bought a cake and one cupcake and both were tasteless. The bread texture of both products are not good. Also, the cupcake display had a few fruit flies. When I told the girl she pretended like it was normal.

Horrible, Expensive and taste less place ever i had been!!!! We had my son birthday. Ordered and paid very big amount to just have a nice good cake. Cake was not even meeting the design I had selected to be. Very dry, and horrible taste. Never ever going to be at this place for any of occasion cakes or cupcakes order. Personal who took order was not even speaking and understanding English, tooke me an hour and half to just make her understand what kind of design and cake we like to order. Owner was really rude when we complain on design of that cake. In Store, the price marked is not even matching with what they had listed in sheet of paper they use. It was VERY Expensive place…charged us minimum $30 bucks to have a desing we done and requested us to supply all the toys to be on that cake.. provided all they needed but still messed up that whole cake.. screwed up my son birthday.. HEB has even better cakes then this bakery.

Alex and his team do a great job with customer service, as well as creating delicious/cakelicious cupcakes, cupcake pops, cakes, etc. His designs for cakes are like works of art, and he can create anything you can imagine. The cupcakes are light and moist, with a great ratio of icing to cake, and he doesnt overdo the candy-sweet toppings like a lot of bakeries do. I really like the chocolate with chocolate filling, as well as the spice cupcake with the simple raisin on top. Perfecto!

TASTE BEFORE YOU BUY!! Ordered a $100 cake for my sons birthday. Very clearly explained to baker that I wanted buttercream frosting. The one that was made with sugar and NOT the cool whip frosting. Explained to baker in 4 different ways what I wanted for frosting and all 4 included the word sugar and not cool whip.Bite into cake and it was cool whip frosting.When I called them I was told A Lot of people confuse our buttercream with cool whip because its so light and non-sugary. You should have bought a cupcake to make sure you liked our frosting. Well, if I were a baker and someone took so much time explaining to me what frosting they wanted and I knew I didnt make mine in the traditional way like they were asking for, I would have offered to let them tast my frosting before I took their $$$.SORRY BIRTHDAY BOY! No cake on your birthday😕 To be fair the cake was very pretty and tasted average.

SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to a REAL bakery!!!! I have tasted better cakes from Sams and Foodtown for ALOT less!!! I got the chocolate 1/2 sheet cake...by the way, the price list had $30.00...thats if you just want the cake!!! $10.00 more for icing!!!! Who orders just the cake? And they didnt do anything extra with the icing...no flowers, no nothing!!! just regular piped icing... icing was gritty from the sugar granules...not very tasty either. LESSON LEARNED!
