I came to 5 star floors after seeing recommendations on my neighborhood app.I was not disappointed. We had porcelain wood look tile laid in our entry way/ kitchen / living / dining room.Mike was extremely helpful and so were the staff in his show room. We are in love with our tile so much we called them back today for another quote. The guys who installed the tile were polite and worked very had! I will recommend them to everyone!

This is where we go and have never been disappointed. It was time for our upgrade from the laminate they had installed 5 years ago to Ceramic Tile. We wanted hardwood floors, but thought what if it get wets. So we went to Five Star Floors and talked to them, what fantastic people, showed us everything and told us about ceramic tile vs hardwood and it looks the same. Well about six samples latter we had the look we wanted, Grand Canyon. Staff at Five Star Floors are just Fantastic, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable, made selection, ordering and the rest of the paperwork effortless. Great People.Now came the install. Well the installers were on time and in fact asked if we wanted them there earlier on the next day. Great people. Courteous and friendly. Moved everything with the utmost care. When it came time to remove front entryway tile, (the old white standard new house tile) they covered everything they could in plastic sheeting to keep the dust off of things. Then they were apologetic about getting dust on things. Hey it was expected they were ripping up tile no apologies needed. They even installed during the bad weather the week of May 7th and never tracked any mud or dirt into the house. The installers were great and I would not hesitate to ask Mike to send them again. In fact we will because we are now going to have Five Star Floors replace the kitchen floor in the next few months.Do yourself a favor when you look at home remodel, go to Five Star Floors in Pearland, in fact if you live outside of Pearland go by there you cant go wrong.We will have Five Star Floors do all of our work, that is how good they are.Thanks Five Star Floors, Mike and Crew.

Installation by Juan’s group for wood floor removal and replacement was almost dustless. 2,000 sf done in 3 days. Very responsive and careful. I recommend all very highly!

We Love 5 Star Flooring. We recently had the carpet removed and hardwoods added in our bedrooms AND the fireplace tile redone. It was exceptional as always. Every time we have a remodeling to do we go to 5 Stars Flooring. They have done our bathroom tile, remodeled our kitchen, hardwoods in the bedrooms in addition to hardwoods throughout the rest of the house a few years ago. Mike and his team at Five Star Floors were excellent! We installed wood flooring on both floors of our home. The pricing, workmanship, and quality of their services was excellent. It was a great experience from initial meeting to final inspection of our floors.

We have used 5 star floors 3 times in roughly 4 years and have enjoyed our experience each time. The staff always treats us great and are very helpful. The owner is also very helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate that there are no hidden costs or surprises. Everything is quoted up front and correct the first time. I have had carpet installed, granite installed in a bathroom and a kitchen and we had to have partial carpet replacement from a leak. Each job was completed on time and as promised. The install guys were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Additionally, we haven’t had any product issues with the products we have purchased. I recommend 5 star floors and will definitely use them again in the future if needed.

Allison was very knowledgeable about the products on display and was able to answer any questions we had. The owner promptly came out to measure the home as Allison said he would and they were able to get us in the schedule in no time! The crew was courteous and professional, cleaning up as they went along and completed our floors in just two days and did an amazing job at that! This is our second time to utilize Five Star Flooring in the past 5 years. The first was flooring (laminate and tile) in most of our home and this week was new counter tops and back-splash. The process, although it was overwhelming, was made so much easier with assistance from Mike and his staff at the Pearland Five Star Floor location. 5 Star recently installed our new floors and we were very happy. It took me a very long time to decide on what I wanted. They were patient with me and I never felt rushed or persuaded into anything. Once installation begin we noticed a manufacturing defect in our tile. Mike, was at our house the very next day to evaluate the tile. He agreed completely with us that it was indeed not right. Unfortunately for us that meant having to start over. Luckily and most importantly it was done right, with no added cost incurred on us. We are so happy with our floors. They are beautiful!

We had our floors done by 5 Star they started the job on 6/8 and finished on 6/13, the workers did a great job they arrived on time everyday, my issue is at the end of the job we had (4) boxes of tile left over, after speaking with Mike he explained the reasoning behind over ordering and he refunded me for (3) of the boxes . The floor is beautiful and it gives the room a bigger look . And because it’s tile it won’t scratch up like my wood was after a few years of wear and tear .

Had 4 bedrooms of carpet installed, the owner was very helpful and as important were the installers who were skillful, approachable, and hardworking. Would recommend to anyone looking for flooring. Pricing was cheaper than the chain stores with free installation too.

We did an entire remodeling of the master bathroom and closet, and replaced carpet by hardwood on the first floor and stairs. The service we received from the minute we entered the Five Star Floors to the last minute when Mike walked around to inspect the work for the last time was impeccable. The choices they have are limitless. No one forces you to buy anything or sign any contract. Youre given the time to look around, make your own decision, and then sign the contract. Once work started, all the teams (demo, plumbers, floorings, painting,..) that did the work were extremely professional and all very nice gentlemen. They were very courteous and respectful. The work was all completed in less time than we had anticipated, and the result was outstanding. We ourselves made a mistake when selecting the bathtub; Mike took arranged for getting a new one and getting the first one picked up. Mike checked regularly on the job to make sure all was fine, but, frankly, that was not needed, as his teams were all great. At the end, they hauled all the stuff from the garage and left it very clean. We cannot recommend Five Star Floors enough (our experience was with the Pearland store).

5 Star did a great job in my home and had the best price we found. We had a little under 1000 sq ft of carpet and marble torn up and replaced with a beautiful hickory wood. We also had our fireplace tile replaced with stone. All the sales people we dealt with were great. They allowed us to bring many samples home until we found exactly what we wanted. The job was done quickly and very professionally. The crew was friendly and accommodating. They were all singing and laughing during the job indicating to us they were very happy to be here and their happiness showed in their fabulous install. I never felt like they were rushing to get the job done as quickly as possible, I felt they took pride in their work and wanted us to be happy when they were done. The guy that did the stone on our fireplace is simply an artist. After the floor was down we found a piece of wood with a soft spot and they did not hesitate to send the crew back out to replace it. The crew expertly extracted the one bad plank and replaced it. We were so happy with the end results we referred 5 Star to my parents who also got wood floors put into their house. They were equally as happy as we are. Thank you Five Star!

5 star did a great job on replacing the carpet in out home. The guys were very nice. they did start late (930) and work until almost 8PM. I wish they could have started earlier in the morning as the end felt very rushed. they did not do a great job putting furniture back together (screws left out and on the floor of my sons room) and they did hit some walls with furniture as well. I am sure this was them as the paint on the walls was brand new as well. Mike (the owner) was great to work with and the price was right. I just wish they would have done a better job with leaving the house as they found it. I know there would be dust and dirt, but there were loose carpet trash parts in every room.

Love the floors! Five Star is great to work with, very nice people. Install was great, they took precautions to keep the dust down while removing tile. Complete house was done in 3 days.

I was affected by hurricane Harvey and the people at Five Star worked with me for nearly a year while my home was being repaired. We scheduled and rescheduled several times. They were easy to work with, helpful, friendly and took a sincere interest in my situation. It took me awhile to choose what I wanted and they were willing to let me take several samples home. The flooring is now in and they did a beautiful job. They even returned within the week to fix a slight problem from a misunderstanding. They did both vinyl and carpeting in my home. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful when we were making decisions on which flooring would look well in our home. The installers did an excellent job and were very nice. They moved our heavy furniture and placed it back as well as tried to protect other rooms from the dust generated. We are very pleased with the results.

Five Star Floors did a phenomenal job recarpeting our new house. The whole process was seamless and fast. We used them for our granite countertops and backsplash in our kitchen a few years ago and they did a fantastic job, so we were already comfortable using them again for new carpet.
