After more than 10 years of being a loyal customer of la moreliana, today is the last day i will shop there. Every party, get together, or weekend barbecue has seen meat bought at la moreliana. Im in there at least twice a month but no more. Today while making a $95 purchase i was informed i would be charged a debit card fee. As of today they only accept cash or debit cards with a fee. No checks, no lone star (i work so no lone star is not an issue for me). Its unfortunate since the other meat market is about 10 minutes farther but until la moreliana drops this fee i wont shop there again.

Great place for fresh meats, but the well known secret is this is the best place to get your authentic fresh made flour tortillas, & white, yellow, and blue corn tortillas. Go early for these as they sell out! They also have fresh store made tamales. There is a small lunch counter where a variety of simple meals are served. They also have typical baked goods.

Poor customer service up front and the back with bad attitude.butcher in meat department ignore you!!I was there on Saturday at around 11 to pick up some barbacoa, so, my husband asked the butcher for 1lb of barbacoa and when he was weighing the meat my husband said to butcher “wait put another pound of barbacoa cause 1 pound is not enough. and the Butcher told my husband in Spanish and with an attitude,, “makeup your mind” and is not the first time them rude.

The tortas are amazing, hot and fresh all the time and made to order. Friendly staff and just delicious

I have been going here ever since I moved here love the food but today I sent my son to get fajita buy the pound from the taqueria and my son said the lady was being rude mumbling I called to speak to a manger and he made it seem like it was my fault I understand the situation we are in but be respectful I payed for everything nothing free I even paid for the salsa she was lucky I didnt go cause if it was me I would have said something and leave the food I always get good service with Dona Maria or Noe I am gonna think twice about ordering from there again 🤔

Most people utilize the meat market portion of La Moreliana, but if your strapped for time utilize the kitchen. I buy rice, beans and a pound of cooked meat all the time. Life saver and inexpensive when in a time crunch

Great food, and easy to order meat. The butchers accidentally prepared the wrong order for me and I told him and he was like oh why didnt you say anything my bad. These folks are super kind.

I live about 1.5 miles from this place. I visit it at least once a week to get fixins for a meal at home. I use it for groceries more than the prepared food they serve but I love that stuff too. Eat at the counter or take away. Great stuff.

I absolutely love this place. The tacos are so good and fresh. Everything is so authentic. I have been looking for real tacos in Pearland for years, and never knew they were right under my nose at La Moreliana. Now I wont go anywhere else. Truly the best Mexican comfort food in Pearland.

****UPDATE: Still one of my favorite spots to get fajita meat and Costillas at. Today we finally tried their barbacoa breakfast tacos and I have to say they were easily the best I’ve had in years.*****I love this meat market!! Great food, great quality meat, and good service. Definitely recommend.
