Being completely new at buying a nicer bike from a bike shop vs a big box store this place and the employees are totally welcoming and very helpful. At no point during the purchase did I feel like any questions I had were viewed as trivial “duh” questions. They answered in the most helpful way possible and offered excellent advice for a newbie such as myself.

My first visit and it was a perfect experience. Upon entering, I was greeted and helped. They work on your bike while you wait and are very polite. The merchandise in the store is minimal for recreation purposes and more for professional bicycling. But labor prices were very reasonable. I am a customer for life.

Great bike shop! Owner Daryl is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Took my Trek in today to get my front brakes fixed. Fixed in just a couple of hours, same day which was fantastic. Bike tech is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.Great bike shop, will always go back.

Daryl and the team at Pearland Bicycles went above and beyond to help us find the right bike at the right price point for us. In a time where the bike industry os crazy and bikes are hard to find, they came through to support us and make sure we had what was right for us, not something that we didnt need.They easily could have pushed us into a bike that didnt fit or that was more than we needed based on their inventory but they didnt. PB is a good place to get a Specialized, Giant or Cervelo bike. Ive known Daryl for quite a while and seen how he preps the bikes he sells and Ive seen how he works with customers and makes sure they are satisfied. From the craziness of the pandemic and the amount of people buying new bikes or fixing up bikes that have been sitting around the garage forever to recovering from break-ins twice in the last year, they have definitely have been busy the last year. The shop is also is a good resource for finding out what the local rides are and connecting people getting into the sport. They also have a Bike around the Bay team. Also there are some weekday rides that kick off at the shop.

I felt like the big box stores talked down to me the last time I bought a bike. Here the people were very easy to talk to, answered any question that I had, and made me feel very welcomed. The bike I bought is on the lower end but the mechanic still walked me through everything from parts to basic maintenance. Any future purchases will be from here from now on!

Service was quick and very professional. Every time I go there I’m met with the most friendly and honest staff.

I walked in with a flat tire and the owner himself tended to it immediately. He also showed me a few pointers on general upkeep, safety and using the gears effectively on a ride. I will definitely return.

I rode my new E-Bike over to have the gears checked. They were able to do a quick tune up and got it shifting smoothly. The shop has lots of bike accessories and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

I just recently decided to invest in a better bike for myself after many years. Pearland bicycles had the model I wanted in stock, and got it built within a week during an extremely busy time. When I arrived at the store, they made sure that my bike was working perfectly and fitted to me before I left. An absolutely fantastic experience, and Ill be happy to shop here again.

Horrible experience. Contacted the owner “Daryl” directly through phone and text. Explained that my wife and myself were interested in purchasing two specialized mountain bikes. He confirmed the bikes we wanted were in stock and could come by the shop at anytime but was also a little rude explaining “we don’t have the luxury to wait around” due to the bike shortage. I brushed that off. The next day my wife and I got off of work early to see and purchase the bikes not knowing once we go there we were greeted by a unprofessional staff. Upon entering we saw a staff member just casually eating in front of us. Nothing wrong with taking a lunch break but per the owners words “ we are extremely back logged with bike builds”. The cashier wasn’t helpful in regards to finding our right sizes nor wouldn’t les us even try out/sit on the few bikes that they had on the floor. With speaking with the owner the previous day I informed him we would be stopping by the next day and will definitely purchase the bikes. Upon asking the cashier she insisted we pre-pay $1200 for two bikes(which is fine) but they have to be built (we didn’t end up pre-paying). Her estimate for the time bikes would be ready and built was not very clear(also said she can build one bike without pre-paying and will be contacted once built). I just thought the owner would have the bikes built prior to us showing up, we try them out and then we purchase and go on with our day. But the experience was horrible. I was then contacted by the owner via text saying “our bikes our ready” and I replied “ I want to know why you didn’t inform me that the bikes had to be built”. Daryl proceeded to call me and explain to me that I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover and I just don’t know how it works. He then invited me to look over his “books” I guess orders and how behind they are on building/repairing bikes. I’ll ask is that Daryl you should have informed me that the bikes needed to be built and would have to pre pay. I gave you ample time prior to coming into the shop.

Very impressed with Pearland Bicycles. They had one of only three in stock 2021 Specialized Fuses in the Country. Not sure how they got it but constantly have great bikes come in. Bike was spot on when I got there. They adjusted to my height and weight and riding posture. Staff was outstanding and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

Small but great shop. There was a line to get in but it was shaded and there was a bench and water- I only waited 16 minutes to get in. Darryl was amazing and very helpful. I bought my first bike in over 15 years and was a little rusty but he walked me through everything. He also helped me find a reasonably priced helmet and a water bottle holder. He had great inventory- due to bikepocalypse I had drove in from Austin because he had the size and color that I needed in my bike. There was another guy waiting who had driven over from LA. They care about their customers - one of the shop guys literally sprinted after the LA guy who was driving away and had left his new bike pump! It was a 5 ⭐experience and if I were local Id definitely be a regular.

Darryl was welcoming and did a full diagnostic of my bike. I was informed of the problems and he was able to take care of it immediately. Both inner tubes and lining needed to be replaced. My baby girl was so excited to be able to ride her bike again this evening. Thank you again!

We went in yesterday and purchased 2 bikes. Unfortunately we had to wait in line outside for over an hour and then left returning 3 hours later. Once we were let in Doug helped us and was great to work with. The entire staff was fun and Made our experience pleasant. Within 30 minutes We had purchased our bikes and the Owner agreed to deliver them to us next week. We were lucky that the bikes we wanted were in stock!If you go there during Corona expect to wait outside in a long, slow line. The inventory is very low due to high demand, new orders are taking 4-6 weeks for delivery. My only recommendation to them is to hire more staff to handle the customers.I will be very disappointed if our bikes are not delivered next Wednesday as promised. They have so much work it is taking 5 days for them to get our new bikes assembled.

Good Service and even though it was a line outside, the cat I worked with was focused on my needs. I felt taken care of and that says a lot from a city boy like me. - Also nice to know they are right here in Pearland, I didnt have to go into Houston to get my tires serviced.

Happened to be riding my bike by the store WELL after hours and Daryl, the owner was working late moving stock. We struck up a conversation and I asked him about turnaround time on bike repairs since I knew that the store had been off the charts busy during the pandemic. He was very upfront and honest with me about the time frame he could offer, but then he said well bring it in and let me take a look. He took the time to put my bike up on the rack and he made some minor adjustments and tweaked a few things here and there. Then, he took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done, what I could wait to fix, and what he could take care of right then. All in all, it was about 20 mins of his time but it was 20 mins that was WELL after hours, and it was time that he did not need to take to help out a perfect stranger. Very kind man and extremely knowledgeable. For sure, I will be coming back.

After searching Houston, I arrived at Pearland Bikes. Paid for the bike I was ready to leave. BUT THEY CARED ABOUT MY RIDE- They serviced the new bike, set it for my size and weight, made it tubeless- no added cost!! FREAKING AMAZING!

I had already tried fixing my flat tire 3 times and was about to break down and buy a new bike. My cruiser is about 12 years old, o said to myself, it’s about that time I started to look at the sales but was astonished to see how much the price had gone up on all bikes. I found this shop and was a bit skeptical they would be able to help me I also took my daughter’s old mongoose too. They fixed it and did a mini tune up while making us feel at home. They are busy right now. Please don’t hold them against this. Wait your turn and you will be happy as you’ll ever be at their work. They are very fast and knowledgeable and friendly. Once I decide on a new bike, it will be from here.

Today was the first time in my life that I ever purchased a bike from an actual bike shop ... I’m WHOLEHEARTEDLY so glad I did it at Pearland Bicycles. Earlier today I came in close to noon, was greeted upon entry by Greg and he helped with any questions I had about bikes, etc. I saw two bikes that really caught my eye and then shockingly I was offered a test ride in the parking lot. I was so appreciative for that and ended up testing riding both bikes on my radar ... bike helmet included! Afterwards, I thanked them and said I’ll think about my final selection and possibly return later. Daryl and Greg were cool about my decision and invited me back anytime. Me and Greg had a manly hand shake on it. Later on I came back and at 6:40pm I made my purchase of the first bike I tested along with the same bike helmet. I’ve never had a customer service experience, in general, like the one I had at Pearland Bicycles today. Relaxed, informative and comfortable environment. Lord willing, I look forward to continued business with them.

I took it 2 Giant mountain bikes in for repairs and maintenance just before the Christmas break. Staff was great to work with and knowledgeable. Picked up the bikes Thursday after Christmas and they not only looked like brand new bikes again but the shifters were tuned better than when I had purchased them.

I took my nephew’s bike here to have a bent back wheel replaced. There was not one in inventory so it was ordered and three days later we picked up the repaired bike. My nephew was elated. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back for bicycle repairs in the future

They are so customer focused and working so hard to get folks in and out of their shop even when the line was so long. I went to get a new seat, mirror and phone holder. Was in and out in a half an hour and very satisfied with what they suggested and sold to me. I also scheduled a tune up since I got such good vibes from all the folks there.

I’ve given Pearland bicycles my business since I’ve started riding MTB. The workers here are the sweetest and they really know what they’re talking about. They try to be as helpful as possible. I’ve gotten work done on my bike and they have a good turnaround (this was pre-COVID...). Love this shop and will continue doing business with them!
