Heard great stuff about this place, but when I’m trying to shop and then get randomly asked to see my ID is infuriating. Can’t you just wait til I get to checkout to confirm? Or is it better to stop me in in an aisle in front of customers to do so?-I would appreciate a response. I get checking IDs but dang, in the middle of my shopping ? And to be rude about it Lisa? Ok.

Had to get a manager approval for buying wine because my 12 year old niece was with me. She asked her for ID!!! I’m offended that even after telling her it was my niece I needed approval. I’m not a criminal I’m a teacher trying to relax my last weekend before being a first responder during this pandemic. I’m sad and I will never return to this location.10/5/21Update no response from customer service or the owner. They don’t care about their customers or discrimination given by employees.

I come here weekly, and everyone does a great job. The manager and people working on stock helped me find a specific bottles in the past with ease. Also, the older gentleman who does wine tastings was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cashiers are great, but need a system to get more folks on the register at a moments notice when the line starts to backs up. Overall, superb store!

I dont drink, but i had a wild hair to buy something that day...... didnt know what, so one of the team members decided to assist me and was very knowledgeable about the bottle she discussed. So i bought 2 of them. 😁

Im new to the wine game so asked a few questions and tried a couple wines and viola, found a couple great cabernets.

I called to place a order of 20 cases of jack Daniel wine coolers for my company with the manager Tasha and she ask me why I need to buy 20cases? And I told her it’s personal and she replied back the she will not place my order till I told her what I’m buying it for. I’m a grand reserve member for years and this is very in professional and disappointing coming from a manager. I did not order and I call another store to place my order. The GM of this store needs to review this because if I need to buy the whole store and I have the funds she shouldn’t have never ask what for. I’m probably the Number one buyer of this wine coolers from total wine, they should have been more appreciative of my business. I always have the best experience at any other store. You have goods ratings for a reason don’t let people like her ruin your business and name. I usually don’t write reviews but this really upsets me.

Good place staff is very helpful

We went there with a list of items we need it for an event ($900 -$1200 purchase) and got 0 help from staff, we ask 3 different employees, show them the list, and they pointed to an area, we had to go and search for the items. we only found half of the items, THEN we went to SPECS and wow WHAT a difference, we had 2 guys helping us finding the items we need it. We will NEVER return to this LAZY employees store! Very poor management, zero stars!!!

This store has rude employees. It seems that they have more time to talk among themselves then to actually help their customers. If you ask them a question they look at you like if youre from another world. Or as if you are bothering them very unprofessional. Need good customer service go to Specs!

My go to place for the latest and greatest Saint Arnold’s releases! Today I went in to grab a 12 pack of Texas winter IPA which they did have and I’m very pleased! I will always shop at total wine! I’ve never been let down the last few years I’ve been a customer

Best liquor/wine store in the area. Beer selection is top notch, they have nearly every Texas Craft brand plus a large variety of other craft beer. I have bought many bar accessories here as well, their selection is quite good.

Accompanied my wife to get some items to be used in food preparation. The extensive selection gives you plenty of options to choose from. We made our selections and a staff member assisted us with items we werent able to locate. He was very helpful. The gentleman at the register was very polite and cheerful. It was an overall good experience as usual.

Employee (possible manager) came to me as I walked in and told me that I’m required to wear a mask to shop. I walked out and left. I drove to another location and was not forced to wear a mask. Interesting how it’s different between stores. Did this person not like how I looked? Well I will no longer shop at this location again

I like this place, i have used it at least twice a week for the last 2.5 years. However the management has bowed down to the covid BS. The cashier was quite rude when I didnt have a mask. Screw this place. Im going to a place that has a better group of people.

Usually find everything Im looking for here but lately theyve been out of my beer. I usually buy Frio 6.0 or the Frio light. But theyve been out for a month or so.

So I recently turned 21 and was like alright lets do this! And it was awesome! They have rows amd rows of everything you can think from wines to mini shots, rum, vodka even rare expensive stuff which made me question life. They have samples you could try and the staff is super friendly. They even have shopping carts!!!

I would give a zero if I could. Worst customer service. Left on hold, bounced from person to person. Employee wouldnt look up product to tell me if they had it in stock and manager Hannah said I could come in and see what they had myself.

Soooo....Not only did I LOVE this place but the staff was SUPER helpful! I purchased 3 bottles of wine...am having a glass of 1 (see picture) and it is soooooo YUMMY! I needed to restock my bar, they were out of Grey Goose 1.75 so I settled for Kettle One to avoid going to another liquor store.

Close to home, big store with lots of choices. Disappointed none of the available staff said anything or offered to help BUT I found what I wanted. There was plenty of staff around the store to get help if wanted and I saw one person working with a small group.

First visit but love it they have all the wine you need all at an reasonable price plus great customer service

They have easily replaced Specs as my favorite place to shop for my liquors and wine! They have a great, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. They have vendors in the store every time I visit providing samples. The store is clean, orderly, and has a fun, inviting feel to it as well.

Knowledgeable staff, great selection, and competitive prices. I always learn something. There are interesting wine and liquor tastings on Fridays and Saturdays. It can be a pretty long wait to check out when theyre busy, but otherwise its great.

Why would you let under age people in the store if you are going to refuse sales once we get to the checkout? 19 year old daughter stopped in with 29 year old family friend. Was refused sales even though another family in line ahead had underage child.. no problem..? Went else where...

Their selection was great but the service is questionable; I (21) went in with my brother (19) and they said they couldn’t sell me what I tried to buy because I didn’t have a guardians present. I’m 21 yo and I live alone, wym I need to have a guardian present? Not sure if I’ll be coming back

Super clean environment and helpful staff. My only issue with this location is I bought a limited edition, small batch bottled beer a week ago and turns out the best by date is 2/14/2020. Very disappointed with the lack of a FIFO system at this total wine and very disappointed I won’t get to enjoy my ‘Bitchin’ Camaro’ from Real Ale.

Cashier was rude while I was checking out her name started with a Y and ended with olanda.

I love this place!

Been a fan of Total Wine since they entered the Houston market. I had been going to the one in the Galleria area as it was easy to get to from work. That store is huge and a phenomenal place to visit. This new one in Pearland is not as big, but still offers a sizable selection. Im not a wine drinker, I tend to spend my time in the spirits aisles and Im always able to find what Im looking for at better prices than other liquor stores in the area. Nice to have a more convenient location available.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The customers are also great with advice. Love the atmosphere here. Will return to try a few other things,and catch a wine tasting.

Great store. When I first walked in I was amazed by the layout and sheer volume of merchandise in the store. The ppl where very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. Prices where competitive on all well known items and they had a lot of brands I didnt know.All in all its a good place to grab something quick or spend some time and try something new.
